At least it was your own doing that caused the damage and it was while doing something awesome with the family. My first damage on my Ram (bought new) came from the dealership and they dented my drivers side rear quarter panel right on the feature line by the gas cap. Big ass dent in a terrible spot for trying to get out. Still makes me angry, and mostly because I wasn’t the one who did it. Point being, just be thankful you have a cool story and some character to go along with the damage lol

Nice to see the 2500 off roading a bit, I haven't been brave enough yet to venture onto those roads in the Uinta's just yet, but I'm feeling more confident in the truck after watching you. Btw that Lake/area is awesome I remember it from 40yrs ago on a church Father's/Son outing. Rocky Mtn. Pinstriping!
It really was a blast, such a pretty and peaceful area, and the kids loved it and love watching the RU-vid video I made about it. I’m surprised too how capable the truck is with simply upgrading the rubber! You just gotta watch out for soft mud, that heavy front end loves to sink 😂 Get out there and get those pinstripes haha! @Paul Shin it really is such a pretty area isn’t it! One kid would be chill 😎 and pretty nice! But when there’s more, they do keep each other entertained so it’s not as difficult as it sounds haha or maybe I’m just used to getting emotionally beat up all the time… 🤔😂
Im enjoying your videos while I wait for my 2022 white megacab with a bench... I think I might go for 37" tires after seeing this. Had planed on 35´s but I think some 37´s would have absorbed those rocks with eaz..
@Gudjon Jonatansson thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying them. 37s would be way better. And they would actually look oversized. These 35s simply look they they fit, vs being undersized like the factory tires do. With this, I’ll either go 37s next in some 17” wheels, or, maybe even up to 40s…
That’s a great question! I just climbed under there and I’m going to say maybe… it’s pretty tight. The truck tires that came on it were 33.5” tall, I can’t recall the size and ratio, but came with 20s. The spare is 275/70R18. Roughly the same but smaller wheel. I think you could squeeze a 35” but the tire might be making contact with the backside of the receiver.
