Hey Biffa, I don't know if you never use these for a reason but there are some more types of schools. Like community schools. They look pretty neat so please use them somewhere in the city!

Now that you have the nuclear plant, you should build a couple of those and remove all the other power sources. Additionally since they produce so much green power you can even set the policy to use only electricity for heat and go back to normal pipes. Frees up a lot of space from the boilers and is overall cheaper. Just a thought.
With this massive new neighbourhood build you're probably due a few more snow dumps. The little area between the double roundabout seems like undesirable land for citizens, it might be a good area for some snow dumps and other service buildings cuz it has excellent roadacces
Where you have the new campus and opera house there are two roundabouts with a tram line going through, how about making these stops in the middle of the roundabouts and then give path access to the campus and opera house?
That's quite an expansion, Biffa! But may I suggest in your next episode that you line all the expressways with trees. You sample noise pollution showing indicates that those highways are very noisy! Imperatur has a video on the noise reduction of trees next to the highway. I’d love to see you detail some areas for your services sometime. You tend to just place then within your grids without much further thought. For example, a school could have two/three grids dedicated to it, place the building, add a car park, a grassy area where sports would happen, maybe the tennis court or something, then some trees, fences or other details to make a cool, real world school area. It’s not as efficient, but it would look really cool :)

20:00 I remember when I was kid when I used go to my aunts home there was a cemetery around 50mts aways from back yard.. we kids used to get scared to go out side home during evening or night.. because of that they changed their home... but in this game they love cemetery around the house... scary...

When people live where it's cold and icy/snowy all the time I think it's most likely that gatherings, at least those that involve less movement and more parking of one's ass for a couple of hours to watch a commencement ceremony, take place at a local school gym or community centre... indoors, where it's warm 😜
Hey biffa, what your doing is the norm for xbox players, 😂 only mods we have are buildings, some placeables and some vehicle designs. So traffic can be annoying, but on a city I'm making with unlimited money, I managed to get the traffic from about 50% to about 80% using the traffic lights, slip roads and stop signs, 😂 so that was fun to try do

Please do more detailing similar to what you did at the new campus area in some of the recently built areas of the city from the last few episodes - many of the blocks are very "Papers, please" and wouldn't be nice to live in. Something I like to do with the "odd size blocks" is put a fence on the collector so zoning stays on the side roads, then detail behind the fence. It reduces the number of stops on the main roads and looks really nice along the avenues etc, especially with trams on the road and pedestrian paths coming through the fenced area. Just an idea.
Alaska does NOT have snow on the ground all the time, any more than Minnesota (where I'm from) does (we have a 150 degree temperature range, from about 105F/41C to -50F/-46C). They get summer with green trees, grass and flowers. Parts of Alaska have the same temperature range as Minnesota. Why do people think that Alaska is the same as the north and south poles? Even the northernmost portion of Alaska more closely resembles northern Norway. It _can_ snow year-round, but it doesn't mean the ground is under constant snow cover.
For crying out loud! I hated that the cafeteria at my college was all the way across the campus from the dorms, even in days with nice weather... and here you do it again... LOL!!
That "bridge" you used to connect the new campus area to the original district... you can erase that without disconnecting the two sections of the district.
Just for fun you ever tried creating districts at all entrances and exits from your city banning truck traffic forcing goods imported or exported to do so using rail? Might help reduce traffic and allow trucks to travel less distance since they'll never leave the city
Quick Fix: For the 2 lane roads that they are using the left lane for the 180° turn arounds, change those segments to 3 lane roads so you can still have 2 lanes for straight ahead and 1 for turn around!

I haven't watched the video yet, but in the last video I had commented regarding Evergreen Park which can be renamed as Tearangular Park. Because of its shape. Do take it into consideration if you haven't renamed it yet.
But Biffa, nuclear is the greenest of energies! The waste is a tradeoff but we could always just ship that to Verde Beach, they're always on fire anyway. They wouldn't even notice.
I’m on console, have around 80k pop and 80% traffic flow. Just need good public transportation servicing every area and excellent road hierarchy used in high pop areas. Would love TM on console. Be a breeze 😆
Have you forgot that you have to dispose all the nuclear waste that btw is extremely toxic for a very long time? And an accident can happen at any time with just a slight mistake. We have solar panels and hydropower plants already that are perfectly green and safe, so why should we risk it?
@@Sneka97 one of the reasons we will need nuclear power plants is because it's way more flexible. at night we don't have sun. when there isnt a lot of wind, wind farms wont deliver enough power. we would need to store all that power to get trough dark windless nights. nuclear can fill these gaps. we will either need to build massive battery packs, massive dams that can store energy via gravity or use nuclear plants. as for waste, that right now is still a problem. however, new technologies are being developed with which we can turn the waste back into "fuel". accidents wont happen with just a slight mistake. modern nuclear power plants are designed so it's physically impossible to have a melt-down. one valid argument as to not use nuclear power is that it's cost is higher. on the other hand, it's much cheaper to use nuclear power for everything than it is to not use them and have to bare the cost of climate change. nuclear is not perfect. it is far from. but it is the best we have right now.

Why not add your helicopter depo and refuge collection in between the two highway junctions connected via a road tunnel underneath the highway section to connect onto the city roads instead it’s out the way not affecting the noice levels beyond what is already there and would be waisted land anyway so with a little planning should be easy to pull off, also you could add the taxi or tram depo that side of the city using the same trick as ther is a limit onto how many trams also a depo can support
Biffa this is off topic from the video but if you don’t have time or space to empty a landfill or cemetery you can use the collapse disaster in the natural disasters dlc
You do have police and fire helicopter depots on the prison island. Unless you're having Verde Beach levels of fire problems, you should be fine on that front.
Place public libraries, they'll help with educating adults. Also I'm not sure if this works in vanilla but if you hold the ctrl key in while doing angles it'll move the angle by 5 degrees
