Racemax is sooo good : ))) I swappd out the wheels to rapid red 5 alu and the tyres to pirelli cinturato allroad and on road it rides like a road bike. I also found the climbing reactiveness is great. Have fun!!

Nice one dude! Sad it had to go back. Swapping the wheels is a no-brainer on this spec of bike isn't it!

The aero and geometry is nice on roads or flat-out gravel.

Would you use it for a half ironman? I mostly ride gravel and rough tarmac, but I'm thinking about doing a half ironman in the fall. I have no interest in a tri bike. If you were to throw some 28mm tires on there, how would you feel doing a triathlon on it?

I'd bet it's just as fast as an aero road bike with decent wheels & tyres on!

Is the geometry compareble with a endurance road bike or is it more agresive

Slightly more aggressive is how it felt to me

I have the same frameset, and in my experience it handles washboard gravel very well as long as you keep up a decent speed and have your tire pressure dialed for gravel. The seatpost is a D-shaped aero post but I think it gives sufficient flex. Though I'd say the frame can definitively give a harsh ride if you like to run your tires at high pressure. for reference I run 35mm rear and 40 in the front at around 30 resp 35 psi, and its plenty comfortable for 50-120km gravel rides.
