Is Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection Worth It? 

Hope I convinced some of you to pick up this game! What other ports would you like to see on the Nintendo Switch?

I was nodding along until the part that odyssey is the best assassin's creed game... then I realized it's a non-AC-fan gamer reviewing a AC game and understood why. You go on ahead and keep enjoying the "great" game that is odyssey while the og AC fans press F because it killed everything that had to do with Assassin's Creed.

Great review! I loved Black Flag, but to be honest I adored Unity; It truly was a next gen game with the 4 player co-op. Bugs aside as well, the graphics were and still are stunning and the gameplay is so satisfying.

After completing the game on 360, Xbox One, PS4, PC and Wii U, I thought why not... ordered it yesterday. Should arrive soon :)

I’m of the opinion that the sails’ fabric effect looks better on the last-gen versions. They’re too floppy on ps4. The sails are filled with wind, they should look like they’re pulled taut

Great job as always, Joey. Gotta be honest, I have a hard time getting into AC games because they all blend together with a similar game play style that's not 100% up my alley. I DO really want to get back into Black Flag again, but I already own it on Wii U so if I ever feel inclined enough... I'll just go there to load it up. Those ship battles are swaying me.

i played all the assassins creed games and i think some are bad yes but if you played 2 in the time that the game came out it was a good game my opinion all assassins creed games are great games to play

I got this game a few months ago and just finished it. The only problem is that you have to download rogue before you can play it and if you have internet like I do its going to take up to 60 or 70 hours to download it.

Still an impressive port in 2022 and for the Switch in general though I wouldn't lump it in with the S-Tier ports we have had since then. It's definitely the upper echelon of ports on Switch. I think the game is ported fantastic but my opinion of the games themselves is likely tainting my view of the ports themselves. I never grew up playing Assassin's Creed so these Switch games (Black Flag and Rogue) were my first time playing anything in the franchise I've sat and watched for so long. I think the story is well done and Black Flag is perhaps the best pirate game I've played but there's a lot of open world games I'd rather play and a lot of games with stories/characters I prefer. At least everything seems to be here. Unfortunately you have to download both Rogue and Black Flag onto one game icon and can't choose to archive one or the other on the all digital version but you can opt to download Rogue and get Black Flag on the physical collection. I chose the digital version bc it's always on sale and I figured the resale price of a $14.99 digital Switch game compared to a $35-40 physical copy would probably balance out.

Glad they released this on switch I got my copy for only $20

Assassins Creed II is a great game, but damn I just tried playing at the controls suck after playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

I LOVED the Etzio games.. after i finished those i immediately bought III (i was really late to the franchise) and got all my hopes crushed. Fast forward to now when this is on sale for the switch. Ill give it one more shot

Me and my brother are fans of Black Flag Assassin's Creed

Assassin's creed IV is by far more superior imo just because there aren't any PAY WALLS FROM HELL. ODYSSEY IS ASS CHUNKS IN A BOX. Oh and I tried to play rogue and felt genuinely insulted by Ubisoft on that one. More hand holding and I really didn't care for Haythem and I don't want to see his ugly mug ever again. I too love playing the pirate parts more than the assassin's creed parts.

Black Flag came with my Xbox one so I decided to play it and see what all of the hype was about with assassin’s creed. Well. I just couldn’t get into it whatsoever! I didn’t like the idea of it being a tech simulation world or something. Really put a damper on immersion for me
