Is being "quiet and calm" at work a bad thing?

A question came in and it's what we call a confidence question. What if your natural state is being quiet and calm at work, but you worry you may come across as being timid? What should you do?

I find that those who are quiet and calm are the real leaders of a business. In the modern world people confuse this. Many think that a loud mouth is a leader when, in reality, they're using the tool of being overly vocal, or trying to make a joke about everything, as a mask to their fears, flaws, and incompetence. That's not leadership at all. That's honestly the problem within business today. The true lack of leadership therein. A quiet, calm, confident person is usually very observant, discerning, and more humble. Though they may have experience they will ask questions when they deal with a new situation to them and listen to others who do know the answer with less experience. Wisdom.
