Buc ees. Never been, never seen one, do not care if i ever get to also. Just get your fucking gas and bounce. I never buy food from a gas station and never will. Lol😂😂😂😂
@@antman619 if you knew what it took to make it and the meat they use is cremé dèl á cremé of meats I know I prep it nightly I didn’t get it either until I started working here that brisket is some serious meat
For me, I hate pickles and onions or anything else on my sandwich, so I would rather have a plain shit because anything else is going to ruin the brisket taste
@@JakoWako look in the comments youll find plenty that are. nobody is acting like its perfect. and for the record. its a gas station. so for what it is, its certainly perfect.
@@143Al you wish, seems like you have some obsession with people crying is this some weird kink? (Or are you just tryna be a troll and your awful at it)
Anyone who has negative criticism of Buc-ee's is a weirdo. It's a gas station with clean bathrooms and good snacks. It's not a restaurant. Love it for what it is.
I agree with your statement. Its not a premium steakhouse, but for a gas station they have way better food and snack options than Love's, Pilot, or any other out of the way gas station.
You gotta visit every other gas station in Texas to truly be grateful and understand of Buccees. Nothing like a luxurious clean bathroom, variety and good service
@@barrytrotterisweirdat least for the one near me, I always stop when I’m driving from Georgia to Tennessee. No fast food places around so when I make a pit stop for the bathroom and a drink being able to grab decent food is nice.
As an experienced Texan and a buc-ees Lover, I’ve been to that gas station over 100 times I believe that is the best thing to do on a road trip in Texas. I know they’re your opinions but nobody can doubt that this is the best gas station every.
If that's a gas station then by that logic stuff like Costco and the hard Rock casino are also a "gas station". Buckees is a way overpriced food court that also has gas lmao.
@@Rumple. buccees is no where near as big as those places … its a gas station lol only a couple of location are “big” but not like a costco… things are way cheaper at buccees literally everything is compared to other gas stations.
Brother the purpose of Buc-ee's is to break up the monotony of driving across Texas. You can definitely find a quick bite to eat, and it ain't terrible but if you're visiting Texas don't go to Buc-ee's for BBQ. There's too many amazing BBQ joints all over the state. Texans love our Buc-ee's and our HEB but we know those ain't the places to go for your barbecue fix.
@@cullensister99it's cool for certain things. The Philly cheesesteak burrito is bomb af. Bbq is mid at best. Plus cool to stop for the kids if youre on a long trip and just want to stretch your legs
I went to Buc-ees for the first time last year while working in Houston. It was soooo many gas pumps & people there, it was INSANE and I’ll be back again just for the experience 😂🤘🏾
2nd cleanest restrooms ever. There is this random gas station on FM529. This gas station don't even look that great, it's some random franchise I've never heard of. I was outside smoking and drinking and I had to piss, oh my God. Beautiful tiles. Spotless. Bruh it's 1 bathroom and they got a urinal, and TWO toilets. I don't even know why, I mean all those options I couldn't pick, almost pissed myself
1.) Complaining about a place being “too busy” isn’t a very good way to start a video. 2.) Most of your complaints are just out of ignorance. You can get sandwiches with toppings for example. Feel like you didn’t try very hard to give this place a chance and it’s obvious from your complaints
If you're getting food there, while the brisket and pulled pork are their flagship items, the burritos are where its at. The burritos are the best food they sell. I also get a kolache (sausage and cheese stuffed in bread) typically. My local Buc-ees has a sausage and jalapeño biscuit kolache and its another one of my favorites there.
It's great overall remember it's a gas station, if you stop at any other gas station you would not get food quality thats even close, that's the whole point of it, when you need to stop and get gas you can get some really decent food, and the vibe inside is awesome, everything you need. Definitely not overrated!!!
Textard durrrr I've never seen a gas station good food before besides buckees. Wish I could add the emoji with the derpy face and the head caved all the way in cuz that's u 😂
I went to bucees for the first time this summer. It’s like a store. It has clothes, outdoors stuff, 5 gas stations worth of snacks, the cleanest bathrooms ever, and everything is so cheap. I would highly recommend going there if you have the chance!
Buccees is the best convenient stores in the USA. Their privately owned by local Texans who want to put the best products and prices available anywhere.
The brisket sandwich does come with pickle and onion and you can also get the pickle and onion on the side. The place is not overrated. The quality of the items are superior than your everyday gas station with pick over items. You food isn’t picked over and there is always fresh food. That’s not overrated.
@user6192 no, literally anywhere in Europe lmao. You realize the usa has incredibly inflated prices right? That's the only reason Americans technically get paid more, but after all their payments, the majority of Americans don't even have any money left
@@tortellinifettuccine yeah, you're wrong. I was just all over England and Italy, it's incredibly expensive like nyc (where im from). Not sure what you're smoking
Idk what Buc-ees your at but the one here in Alabama give you jalapeños, chopped onions, sauerkraut, extra sauce on the side. The best. I love me some Buc-ees.
The one in Baytown is where I always stop regardless of the direction I'm going. Cleanest bathrooms I've experienced by far and they always have open stalls. I love those pulled pork sandwiches..(they are not there for hours...you can see them chopping them up and constantly putting them out).
Why is everyone so concerned about the bathrooms... do you all eat terrible food so much that you have to stop at a restroom between point A and B?! Seriously?! Who even cares how clean they are if yo have to park far away, wait in long lines/etc?! If that's the metric... Disney world, freaking cleanest bathrooms ever!
@james0000 I live 5 hours away from the one in Baytown. So by the time I get there, I top off my tank and of course I have to use the bathroom to do 1 or the other. When I come back the other way from San Antonio or when I lived in Austin, I'd stop the again to top off also.
I was born and raised in California. The first time I walked into Buc-ee's, it was like walking into Walmart, 7-11, and Big 5 all in one. This place will never be overrated... ever. And they post a sign of how much each person working there makes. Most of them make more than me!
Than again, you did say "born and raised in California" (strike one) and followed it up by naming "Walmart, 7-11, and Big 5" (strike two).... yup, pure Cali for you right here people.
@@jonnylake3rd umm, what…? Buc-ee’s Isn’t “fast food” Fast food is like McDonald’s or Wendy’s. Ya know, with a drive thru. It’s more of a convenient store, and sorry but you’re opinion is irrelevant to me. Lol And obviously many others. Buck-ee’s food is good asf. That’s why they are as popular as they are.
@@shaquille_0atmeal69_they’re popular because they’re convenient and everywhere. They have a few good products but stop acting like everything they make is good, it just plain isn’t. Some of their items suck just like any store.
@@LGRW313 right. Yep bro, you’re totally correct, that’s why their so popular that every store they have is busy at almost every time of the day. Lmaooo delusional clown 🤡🤣💀 just because you hate it, doesn’t automatically mean it sucks lmaooo
It’s not only not cheap, it’s down right expensive. Two sandwhichs, two bags of beaver chips and two drinks is going to be close to 30 dollars or more. It’s actually ridiculous how much they charge for a bbq sandwhich. Almost 10 bucks a piece
@@BitchyBoxxy Y'all got some weird assumptions. What does being older than you look and liking dark chocolate have to do with anything? What is this new stereotype called? 😂
Gonna say something Texan’s never say “leave Texas Don’t Come back” order your sandwich and they will put items on it for you and tell you. Y’all come back now🤣you hear. That’s being nice.
There is a variance amongst Buc-ees... I tend to agree on the bbq sandwich -- the things I always get are the Brisket tacos (particularly if early for breakfast version), and the sausage on a stick (yum!). Some of the great locations like 290 NW of Houston do a better job with the bbq than some others.
Although they absolutely NEED truckers to bring them supplies and fuel. They don't allow semi trucks to park there. As a trucker, I won't patronage this establishment
I love our Buc-ees in Georgia and plan to visit the bigger one in Tennessee in May. The food is not bad for a gas station/convenient store. With that said ... it is at a convenient store price. Everything in general has gone up. Have you seen the price of "Roller Food" at a gas station? And the taste? Yuck. They have onions and pickles (pre made cups with lids) at our Buc-ees. Fountain drinks are under$1. Did you try the freshly made potato chips? Thank you for the video
I would spend thousands to fly to the US to try Buc-ees. All the petrol stations in Australia i have seen sell drinks, pies and sausage rolls, other baked goods, coffee, sandwiches, other items like bread, snacks, bbq gas and petrol, but that legit looks like a Costco shrunken down a bit and merged with a BP
Went to my first Bucc-ee's while passing through Kentucky on a road trip, it was fun but good lord it's the first time I've ever experienced the word "overstimulation" first hand lmao.
I frequent the location in Denton, TX. Gas prices comparable to Sam’s Club, the most top-notch automated car wash, and delicious fast food, all in one fell swoop? Yeah, definitely not overrated.
you gotta compare it to truck stops if you dont wanna be disappointed. its like a badass truck stop and the food is decent if thats what youre expecting. shit definitely isnt gourmet, but it makes for a nice pit stop. try the pickled quail eggs, theyre fire
@@Thorfin.D.G0at "My guy" it's all in the secrets not what the typical visitor experiences. NO! This is why they are already starting to run into trouble everywhere they want to build. Have fun going to them while you can, I give them 10 years.
You’re 💯 on this, try the Philly cheesesteak wrap, over by the deli usually, if you need a grab n’ go, and also my fav, the sausage on a stick wrapped with a tortilla. So yum. The BBQ sandwiches are decent, they really are, you have to ask for the onions, pickles, sauce, and what think is SUPER weird I’d it’s damn near impossible to make eye contact with the folks in the sandwich booth, I think they’re like the high school jocks of the staff or something. I’ve been to a bunch of different locations, FTW, Madisonvillr, Lake Jackson, Ennius, Forney, Kaufman, Leeds Alabama, a few along the way to Port Aransas, and Texas City lol. All the BBQ folks are the same 😢
@@brianhallman5168 At my Buc-ees they have pre made cups (closed lid) of pickles and onions for you. You just pick it up and put it on your sandwich. They have house made potato chips and freshly made burritos. Tablets that you can order food and customize each item. It's a great place to stop.
I like how you give your truth. Im from Texas and agree with your review. However, you forgot to mention how clean their bathrooms are at all times 24/7. For a gas stop this is definitely the place to go. Next time try some of their beef jerky. Love your vids btw.
I have a Buccees down the rad and your assessment is spot on. I like their sandwiches, quality is good, not great, and the food prices are a bit ridiculous. Beaver nuggs🎉 Beef jerkey🎉 Drink selection🎉 Bathrooms🎉 Caramelized pecans🎉
loves is the only thing you can find for gas, snacks/food, coffee, etc for hundreds of miles, how do you not go there? even despite just some lays chips to eat it’s alright. WHILE BUC-EES is a rare place you find on the occasion for great snacks and drinks plus coffee and gas, which is great driving on a empty stomach for 5 hours. what’s makes you hate buc-ees?
@@Vin-qd3ts You realize the country is larger than your neck of the woods? I hate Buc-ee's because I had an absolutely terrible experience to the point that I won't even bother wasting my time to try another one, ever, it's simply not worth the waste of time. I have also driven straight through Texas and didn't stop at one and I have no intention to do so. I have driven 25 hours straight only stopping for gas, and that included straight through Texas. It's not that hard to find other places from my experience. 5 hours of an empty stomach means someone needs to plan better and also be better prepared for the unplanned and then they wont have to waste money on Buc-ee's.
It was packed because that's how many people enjoy going. That should be a testament to how good that place actually is. Ive never been to one but if I get the chance I'd like to go
1) Packed doesn't mean the people know better, that requires checking to know if they had been there before and came back because they liked the previous experience. It's my experience that a bunch of know-nothings without experience claim that this place is good and it caused a surge in popularity that has proven to be unsustainable outside their original environment, based on company statements and data. 2) Even if it's a testament, that doesn't mean the people providing testimony have a valid judgement, capability of that judgement or even any knowledge let alone expert knowledge on the realm in question. 3) "Ive never been to one" Yes, that's obvious.
youre so right on crowds,! nobody wants to be cramped up. Just because something is an attraction doesnt mean people should love crowds. New Yorkers hate certain areas of NYC because tourists crowd it. Only weirdos like crowded packed areas
New sub and fan here. Honestly, I normally can’t stand channels like yours as the creators are usually cringey, overacting, have gimmicks, and just annoying… you just seem to be authentically doing you and I appreciate that.
Buc ees itself is overrated and a tourist trap. Been to the one in Florence Sc, Richmond Ky, Burmingham Al and yes the one in Severville TN. Reminds me of Black Friday back in the mid 2000s. Food is over priced.
100% Agree on the food. Clean bathrooms, buccee nuggets and sodas anyway you want are the best options. Sandwiches or chicken tenders are just tolerable.
