Stop enjoining the good and forbidding the evil "to move on"? Hmm.

I don't know what to say to this. Really. Clearly pleasing the people instead of standing for the truth

May Allah have Mercy on you and we thank you. It is ok to ignore it if you do not think it is an innovation. But for those who believe that it is an innovation also believe it is obligatory for them to speak against it.

Ibn ‘Umar (ra) mentioned: “EVERY biddah is a misguidance, even if the people see it as something good.” [Aboo Shaamah, 39] Just make it clear and say its bidah. Even learning about his seerah, spreading islam, sending many salawat and doing sunnah acts JUST FOR THE SAKE OF MAWLID, then ofc this is bidah brcause never did the salaf do this. Did the salaf, who loved the prophet ﷺ the most, celebrate it? No! Ok then its clear bidah.

Good answer by a salafi scholar - most sunni that celebrate the mawlid will agree with him. We all want to increase our love for the beloved sallalhu alayhi wasalam - there is no bida in a gathering of Quran recitation, praising the Prophet sallalho alayhi wasalam and learning about his blessed seerah.

Unity among the ummah will be on Quran n sunnah... Not on personal whims and fancies... Well the mawlid debate is not historical, it's in fact an innovation which came after centuries of Islam. History is no excuse for innovations. As prophet SAW said... EVERY NEW THING IN ISLAM IS AN INNOVATION AND EVERY INNOVATION IS MISGUIDANCE. May Allah guide us all.

It is bidah. That's it. How does he take all that time to answer a question. It doesn't matter what your intention is. Do you think the innovators' intentions are bad? To misguide us? No, they want to 'get closer' to Allah in a way the prophet didn't which the prophet prohibited. So celebration of Mawlid is prohibited. Do you not think the Sahabah would not find any means necessary to get closer to Allah?

He couldn't even clearly say that it is a clear cut innovation which has no basis in the religion. Trying to please the people instead of Allah. Even his four Imams who he regularly quotes didn't celebrate the mawlid. Did they not love the Prophet? Peace Be Upon Him

Dear Sheikh! Why don't you add one more statement that go back to the first 300 Hijri centuries where the Prophet & Sahaabaas, Thaabieens or Thabauth Thaabieens celebrated or accepted these functions of innovations...?

Most denominations of Islam approve of the commemoration of Muhammad (PBUH’s) birthday; however, with the emergence of Wahhabism-Salafism, Deobandism, and the Ahmadiyya, many Muslims began to disapprove its commemoration, considering it an illicit religious innovation (bid'ah). Mawlid is recognised as a national holiday in most of the Muslim-majority countries of the world with the exception of Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Some non-Muslim majority countries with large Muslim populations such as Ethiopia, India, and Tanzania, etc. also recognise it as a public holiday.

the presenter has an agenda 🤣 and he's hurting from the inside when Sheikh is no condemning Mawlid

When we as ummah with enough proofs from Quran n sunnah and understanding of salaf cannot differentiate between sunnah and biddah, huq and baatil, obedience and disobedience to Allah.. Then what makes one think that we will be able to tackle bigger issues of this ummah? When sahaabas in their trying times faced such deviations in the religion, what was their approach? To correct it and warn about it to the ummah Or did they say, "cmon let's move on" May Allah guide us all in the path of Quran n sunnah according to the understanding of our beloved prophet SAW companions and khairul quroon, the blessed early generations of this ummah, whose sanctity and uprightness was guaranteed by the blessed tongue of our beloved prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam.

The fact that this practice has not be dropped during this length of time and for this geographic extent shows there is khair in it, and also the fact that the ones opposing it havent giving up speaking against it shows that it is borderline bidah

The one who follows the truth in Islam, is not diplomatic with innovations and sins.. what is clear is clear ...our religion is not democracy...based on ikhtilaaf. There are ligimate fiqhi ikhtilaaf .. You give the daleel....each year people will celebrate this bida and any other Bida .they will not end, unless, highly unlikely, they truly follow the daleel as understood by the Salaf as Salih....so what do the Specific Ahlus Sunnah , Salafis, Ahlul Hadeeth do we refute them each year ..this is the Deen not be silent and move on...Ibn Taymiyya if it is true what he said, we don't follow him in that ...Ekhwan Muslimoon dawah is about be silent, democracy, don't refute other Muslims...

Celebrating Mawlid is Haqiqah. Celebrating Mawlid is us Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamat.

So he's saying "there's no point telling the truth as neither party will listen. So we shouldn't speak". Of course he doesn't know shit. Prophets conveyed their message even if no one believed in them. The job is not to satiate the people. The job is to tell the truth.

ONLY 2 Countries don't celebrate Mawlid, Saudi Arabia and Qatar FACT!! but within these 2 countries the people do Mawlid in their own homes. Yes, there are some 'individual' people who need guiding as they do wrong on the Mawlid Celebrations. Mawlid un Nabi is getting bigger and bigger as every year passes because Mawlid is celebrated every single day and not only in the month of Rabi ul Awal. 💚MAWLID MUBARAK💚

Ahlu Sunnah stick to the scholars of Ahlu Sunnah and hold on to the narrations (athaar) even if the people were to abandon you. Alhamdulillah, the scholars of Ahlu Sunnah in this time are all in agreement that these are acts of innovations in the religion which are not permitted. Sheikh ‘Abdulaziz b.Baz, Sheikh Al-Albaani and Sheikh Ibn ‘Uthaimeen rahimahum Allaah all spoke against this innovation. Likewise, today Sheikh Saalih b. Fawzan Al-Fawzan, Sheikh ‘Rabee’ b. Haadi al-Madhkhali, Sheikh ‘AbdulMuhsin Al-‘Abbad, Sheikh ‘Ubayd Al-Jaabiri, (to name a few) have all spoken against this innovation in the religion. Let us see what the fuss is about from our beloved Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) and his companions and those that followed them upon righteousness… The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam did not celebrate his birthday nor did the Companions (may Allaah be pleased with them), neither the scholars in best three generations. The Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Every Bid’ah is misguidance.” [Sahīh Sunan Abī Dawood no. 4607]. Imam Shatbi in his Fatawa (p.180-181) in explaining this hadeeth says: “This is taken upon its general meaning without an exception in anything being made at all and there is nothing in it that is considered to be good.” ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) said: “Indeed the most hated of affairs with Allaah is innovation.”[al-Laalikaai (1/132) Abu Nu’aim in Hulyah (7/26) and Baghawi in Sharh Sunnah (1/216)]. ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar said, “All bid’ah is misguidance even if the people see it as good.”[al-Laalikaai (126) Ibn Batta (205) Baihaqi in Madkhal ila Sunnan (191) ibn Nasr (70) with an authentic chain]. ‘Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) said “Indeed the most hated of affairs with Allaah is innovation.”[al-Laalikaai (1/132) Abu Nu’aim in Hulyah (7/26) and Baghawi in Sharh Sunnah (1/216)]. Abu ‘Abdulrahman ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud saw a group of people making dhikr in a mosque in a way other that the way of the Prophete. They were saying Allaahu Akbar, Laa ilaaha ilal Laah, Subhana Allaah in a collective gathering so ‘Abdullah b. Mas’ud said to them, “Count your sins… Woe to you o nation of Muhammad! how quick you rush to destruction. These are the Companions of your Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) who are many in number and these are his clothes that have not worn out and his utensils haven’t broken, by the One whose Hands is my soul either you are upon a path better than the guidance of Muhammad e or you are opening a door to misguidance.” They said, “By Allaah, O Abu ‘Abdulrahman we only intended good.” He replied, “And how many people intend good and but don’t reach it.” [Sunan ad-Daarimi (1/67-69) with an authentic chain]. Naafi’ reported that a man sneezed by the side of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) and said, “All praise is due to Allaah and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger!” So Ibn ‘Umar said and I say All praise is due to Allaah and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger but this is not how the Messenger e taught us, rather he taught us to say “All praise is due to Allaah in all situations.”[Saheeh Sunan Tirmidhi 2738, Haakim 4/265-266, Mizi in Tahdeeb al-Kamal 6/553] The religion is complete and nothing should be added to this perfect religion, Allaah said: الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا “This day I have perfected your religion and completed My favour upon you and have made Islam pleasing as your religion.” [Maaidah: 3] The scholar of Tafseer, Sheikh ‘Abdulrahman Al-Sa’di (rahimahullaah) said regarding this Verse, “the day referred to here is the day of Arafat where Allaah completed His religion and gave victory to His servant and Messenger…this is why the Book and the Sunnah are sufficient in the rulings of the religion, its fundamentals and branches.” Imam Maalik (rahimahullaah) said, “Whoever innovates in Islam and sees it as good it is as if he claims that Muhammad e has deceived the Message because Allaah says, “This day I have perfected your religion and completed My favour upon you and have made Islam pleasing as your religion.” So what was not Islam then is not considered to be Islam today.” [Al-I’tisaam of Shaatbi (1/64)] The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: (( من أحدث في أمرنا هذا ما ليس منه فهو ردّ)) “Whoever introduces into our affairs that which is not from it, it will be rejected.” [Saheeh Al-Bukhaari and Saheeh Muslim]

Imam barbahari said bidah starts small then it becomes big. Look at the level of exaggeration ppl go into now when doing mawlid.

What a liar. Ibn Taymiyaah did not say those who celebrate mawlid are rewarded from an angle. Shaykh Al Islam Ibn Taymiyaah Said they may be rewarded for their good intention of love for the prophet but will be punished if they actually act upon it i.e celebrate it.
