a simple out of town vacation trip is a luxury for someone who can't afford to always travel. a good home prepped meal is a luxury for someone who can't cook. even sleep for the sleep deprived is luxury. your wealth and privilege shouldn't make you feel detached from the reality that *luxury is relative.* it's funny how these people can _afford_ to hate but can't _afford_ to be kind and appreciate other people's little wins.

the fact that the father might seen all those comments abt his gift to his daughter as if it’s something insignificant is heartbreaking. he works hard for that and buy it with the thought of making his daughter happy. and she was so grateful too because to their family it’s a luxury that her dad had work hard for. how could they shame her like that

I saw the video and the comments people were making. She got that from her dad who worked hard and there is no designer bag worth more than that. You could tell how much she loves her dad and that bag. ❤❤

I grew up with not alot of money and used to dream of owning a river island bag. When I got one I felt like I had brought my first chanel haha. Although I have a couple of designer bags now I'll never forget that everyone's luxuries are tailored to that person and their lifestyle.

I got so teary eyed so many people are so out of touch, not everyone has a trust fund waiting for them my heart goes out to her she was so happy and proud that her dad was able to splash out of a expensive bag but people felt the need to tear her happiness down. I just went on to the Charles and Keith website and fell in love with 2 bags. Even now that I can afford LV or Burberry, ect, I still wear affordable bags. It never hurts to remember where you came from or that beautiful things don't have to cost a small fortune. I'll be wearing them with pride and think of her and her Dad. If its a bag that YOU love and it's special to you, then it's a luxury. I bought a new bag recently which was only 2000 yen (about £16), but the design and shape make me feel very special. It's not a purely practical bag for carrying gym kit or my work laptop, so for me it is a luxury.

I am currently in a very bad situation after becoming disabled and am facing losing everything, so I am so happy to see that this bright young woman was able to have this incredible experience. We never know when our lives will come to a sudden end, even if we are still alive when it is over. Live your life and really feel those bright moments, you never know when it could all be over and you are paying off a home and degrees while starving, stuck in your bed.

That's true. Everything you can't afford is luxury and priceless. I as a breadwinner sometimes I would like to eat in a fancy restaurant but in the end after standing in front of that restaurant I would end up leaving the area and decided to buy a grocery for me and my family.

I struggle to even buy a bag that costs £20, so an 80 dollar bag (that's about £60?) is quite a lot to me, and the shop looks classy, minimal and expensive, like it's in a nice gift bag and tissue wrapped. I'm so glad she got something nice out of all the horrible comments.

Wtf, I can't spend that much on a bag either. All these people either grew up wealthy or are wannabe wealthy people. They have no clue if they went after her that way. They'll learn eventually. For me personally spending $20 on a bag from the thrift store is a lot.

How interesting that I come across this video just as I receive unsavoury responses on your outlet short about the fact designer bags sold at outlets ‘aren’t luxury’ - isn’t it insane how ignorant & obnoxious people are?! I was so happy the day my parents bought me by ugg boots for Christmas, I’d never owned anything designer. I still own them all these years later. I lost my mum last year & they’re my pride & joy. They may not have cost the earth to a lot of people but they cost a lot to my parents & I, & I appreciated it so very much. Thank you for making this video x
