My honest review of Dehancer Plugin using DaVinci resolve. I have been testing it for just over a month and in this review I talk about the discoveries I made during this time using the plugin. In short (if you can't stand my face haha) - it is a very powerful tool mainly known for it's unique film grain application but also a fantastic application for achieving filmic look without actually using film. I don't think the competition is as good as Dehancer , at least during my limited testing my preference was using the latter.
I go a lot more into the whole "Cinematic" image chase and wether you actually need the film aesthetics during this review (maybe a tad more than I should) but ultimately if you want the film look and don't have hundreds of thousands to spend - this is my preferred way anyway.
Is it worth it?
YES.
