There is an AI issue. As you said they start off easy and brain dead. But the more you level up they suddenly become aimbotters, they pre-fire corners, shoot through smoke and they don't miss a bullet from insane ranges. So it can get pretty frustrating playing Havoc Warefare.
I would rather have all the bots in the world and play against them day and night than against players who cheat. Period. I hate them with all my guts.
@DieTabbi Played GZ. Enjoyed it. And came back just to let you know that. Yeah I will keep playing against bots. Apart from trolling, I think you missed the point of this video post.
@@kristapsthegamer only the high level ones and its an alpha, so hopefully people gave them feedback on that fact. if they tone down the headshots on highlevel bots and keep everything as is, thats amazing.
Another great video, Tom. For me, I enjoy playing with real people. More so when I get to share a great gaming experience with a random (early days DMZ), it wouldn't be the same if I knew my teammate was a bot and not standing in the living room and clutching their controller after a hot exfil. Granted its these same human foes that clean-my-clock in every gunfight, but there seems to be more honor losing to person than a bot.
Hi Geeky-- I love your perspectives on this genre. I agree that it feels good to kill some easy bots, but I think a future where every player is a bot would ruin the magic and competition that makes gaming so special. Gaming is meant to be social. Think of all the fun times you've had connecting with people (teammates and enemies alike) in DMZ.
I definitely had real people in my first couple , tactical turmoil games, on my team and who I was vsing. It would just be good if it had a very subtle way of saying they are bots, but they fit in harvoc warfare to fill games
The times when human interaction are important to me is when i squad up with friends. Trying the same in DMZ or MW Zombies or most times a fail. Running off in different directions, no communication, no collaboration...usually not a positive . As for playing against AI vs Humans; you've already pointed out all the negatives of human interaction. Losing to a cheater in multiplayer modes isn't near as damning as in Looter/shooters, when so much more is on the line. think I prefer AI, when done properly ie Call of Duty campaigns ,Co-op modes, and Zombies. If you move away from the FPS genre, AI combatants is the norm.
i dont realy mind the bots at this point. there are many coop games out there where the entire point is to squad up with you mates and fight bots. as long as you enjoy it...
Next to never I can agree with you. Wether its that sbmm is any kind of good or disguised bots are useful. I am on the opposite side and waving that flagg. But I like to see you doing your thing! Wish you all the best, keep pounding, buddy!👍 😊
Every "TTV bot" ive looked up was a real person actually streaming on twtich tho, i dont know about this conspiracy... Some people are just bad/new to the game
But some of them were constantly running into walls. Once we found a large group shooting at each other for the full match, never running out of ammo or killing the opponents. There's definitely some bots
with the AI they could also jump when you ask them to. And if you put in your phone number during registration they could send you a whatsapp or call you and ask if you wanne play tonight...
They're just placeholders, they won't wanna be paying for more servers and more compute for bots once the f2p starts and they have 100's of thousands of free players upon launch.
If they weren't so good, I would agree. But the skill level of the bots probably took a lot of work. I think we should assume they're staying to some degree.
bro actually captchas the ai in game by asking them to jump hahahah!! So i had this experience the other day. I was solo queue and was about to extract near that place below admin, i cant think of the name now, but i was almost crawling how slow i was going, im positive no one would of seen me as i was crouching and being slow, and hugging the large wall. As soon, but lemme tell you, as SOON as i peaked the corner, BAM, those little grenades from the assault guy just bouncing right where i was standing! and for a second im here thinking, these guys are wallhacking because ther eis noooo way the would of known i was there at all, and they had it prepared to go off instantly as i turned the corner. usually you would see a player and then react, so i would expect those nades to go off as a reaction, but it was a proactive hit. I ran and got and anghle and actually killed all three. they were stacked up and not really shooting a hwole lot back and just standing there. this explains that. they must of been bots, the behaviour was so weird, and yeah just basic loot as if they had just spawned in or something!
Such a good video though and I really share your sentiment on so many things. And yes!!! Some of those bots are so frickin good, its not even funny. Apart from them sometimes doing some things that makes them seem like cheaters of gives away that they are bots, everything else they do, would never make you question them ever. You pose such a good question at the end. For me personally, no its not outweighed unfortunately allthough it comes somewhat close. Personally it strips me of the feeling of accomplishment for whatever reason, when I learn that i have been fighting nothing but bots.
What I really want is to DELIBERATLY fill up my Turmoil squad with AIs. I don't want to play with other humans. I prefer Solo-ing, but if there was a way to add one or two AIs with me, that would be a dream.
I can easily tell if i have a bot lobby, I've seen them dynamically spawn "teams" in front of me. Bots should not be in the extraction mode. It's boring when i figure out I'm in a bot lobby
Several times i tried to chat with other players but noone aswered , one time a player asked me for a revive . Im at level 25 i think i can declare this game is full with bots for sure.
My first couple of games were mixed. Ive made quite a few human friends, especially in the first two extraction games lol. Also being teabagged in one of the first battlefield mode games, I dont think those were bots, unless bots have BM programmed in
I just realized that this must be why they don't have open voice comms like DMZ. It's a dead giveaway. It's such a huge feature missing, and I'm sure they could have added it. Maybe they will, but I'm starting to think it's missing by design.
2:15; I can assure you this is wrong, my first round of the open warfare mode was a complete one-sided crushing. And no I didn't win XD; we were on the attacking team and didn't even get passed the spawn point, didn't even touch the first capture point. I think bots are random and it's random how many you don't or do get on teams, i.e my team had tons of bots, enemy team had real players. Regardless a crushing defeat for my first round was a little disappointing but wasn't terrible or anything. And I'd believe the idea that my team were just raw newbies if we even touched the first point, but it really felt like I was one-man army against an army of players. Unless this has changed recently as I only got in a couple days ago. Bot rounds in the DMZ mode also seem kinda random, I've died to players a few times, sometimes the next round is bots, sometimes not.
@@GeekyPastimesit feels like I'm smurfing, and I dont like that. It's free loot (and im talkin about 250k M4s) for killing an AI that clearly cannot do anything.
I agree about bots, I don't mind them . The only improvement could be if they pair you with real people and you play against bots I think. At least in extraction mode. But I highly disagree with the SBMM part, I'd rather have xdefiants MM, where you win some and you lose some than play a game with strict SBMM where my every game feels like I'm playing in 1 mil. championship or something. But that's just my opinion. Overall I think the only reason why people hate bots is - 1. when they lose because of them ( even though the cause could be their poor play) 2. when they lose to bots, which means they are worse than bots, at least that's what they probably think. Again only my opinion.
I'm totally fine with Bots in all aspects. I love all the offline games (RDR2, Valhalla, MWZ) I don't feel like it lessons the joy of success, if anything it provides a more consistent experience, building in difficulty the farther you go. It's one of the few areas of life where the advancement of AI doesn't scare me LOL. Real people regularly ruined my DMZ experience, multiplayer modes were only fun when that's all we had. We had similar discussions in the past on PVP vs PVE and I still believe if they ran a side by side comparison with the same game having both that over time anyone who dedicates less than 20 hours a week will gravitate towards the bot lobbies for a more enjoyable overall experience.
would be nice to get games like this on console , hope they can make that happen .. also , that being bots , as long as your having fun , it shouldnt matter , unless u want competitive
Just to let you know, i started playing three days ago. My first game i went squad fill, teamed with a level 24 and 28, they were not bots, they were french and spoke on mic. We came up against real people. Second game, two real teammates and real opponents. Maybe they implemented a fix to tone down the AI player amount?
It funny people complaint there should be no bots. But still worth doing. Example some modder work on bots A.I that work well in some degree depend which game they work on. Which act more of the player style but depend on logic are coded. The other reason is farm bots.... xp unlock weapons and other things. So it funny in some sense farming for bots.
People 4get how fun games like Ghost Recon Wildlands was. Campaign 💯 bots and we had a lot of fun playing. I think games need to create both PvP & PvE servers
@lightofheaven_ It really is! If developers create good atmosphere, story, Ai = good game. It's just seems the easy route now just create a map and put players on it (BR) style and sell skins. That gets boring fast
I agree fully w all that, especially the last sentence. I just dont want to be deceived into thinking im playing real people when its bots. Even if its fun its still a lie, not what i logged in to play, n if i ever figured it out i prob would leave for another real pvp experience.
The main focuse for me here is devs trying to sell bots as a real players , most casual players will not even know they are being lied to This is even worse manipulation than sbmm could ever be
Thing annoying i found bot do its running back and fort like theyre lagging or something.. Or when they "wiggle" way to fast and it like they're using macros. Pressing Q and E waaaaaaay to fast and additionally WASD around while doing so.
@@PingoX yea man.. one or two tryhard doing that its fine.. but bot do it way to fast.. You can't do that unless you're a bot, have a macro or special keyboard like huntsman razer.
I understand during a new game in development, but I'd prefer no bots. Or very minimal and that they're indicated. I play to compete and test myself against others, and having bots portrayed as real is just deception and taints my perspective of that game big time. That said, if they somehow found a way to make the bots that are in there, have a set difficulty thats based on the overall skill level of all players, so everyone is faced with the exact equal bots/challenge, then maybe bots could be a fair element of the multiplayer game. But not too many. Pvp is paramount. Like if they put variable bots in every match kd would mean nothing, nor ranks etc. You couldn't tell where u stand against real people youd just be in this fake oh look how good you are world.
Help me understand how is it that all the people who hated BF2042 are fawning all over this game which is so obviously a cut and paste job of BF2042 with a few elements of BFV. What part of BF2042 that the community hated has not been copied nearly verbatim in Delta Force? Down to the assets used to construct the map.
@@GeekyPastimes thanks for your reply. I have not played Delta Force but I will be surprised if all those things are much better than the state of 2042 now based on the videos I have seen.
