Is EXPRESS PASS Worth It at Universal Studios Hollywood?

Universal Studios Hollywood Express Pass tickets currently start at $209. They allow the ticket holding guest to enter the (much shorter) express line for every ride at the park one time. But is it worth it? Does it truly value your time and make your day at the park better? We are determined to answer this for you!!
Simon and I are platinum annual pass holders, which means our tickets turn into express passes every day at 3:00pm, so our goal in this video is to get on every single ride with our express passes by the time the park closes at 9:00pm. Could we do it? Place your bets in the comments below!
p.s. 4 days after we filmed this video, Universal Studios Hollywood added Mario Kart: Bowsers Challenge to be eligible for express, YAY!

It definitely seems like it would be 3D at a time but fortunately they spared The Simpsons. But it may be in one of the other parks.

True story 😂. I get such a knot in my stomach thinking about the drop at the end!! (For context, the drop on Tiana’s Bayou is 52.5 ft, and the drop on Jurassic World is 85 ft!!) I’ve probably done it five times now, but I still chicken out sometimes 😭💖

Awesome video showing off express pass at UH! I'm going in October for the 1st time, and I think I'll be ok not getting Express, because they're running a BOGO deal, so I can do a little bit day 1, Also doing HHN, and the next day do the rest of the rides/shows. I can't wait for UH!

Do you happen to know the cost of adding the express pass to a regular ticket once at the park? 1 day ticket + plus express pass for the next week is $309 😢 Thank you so much for such an informative video!!

Hi!! Thank you so much 💖. The cost of the express pass and the express pass add-on vary every day depending on the day, which makes things tricky! If you purchase your ticket ahead of time with the express pass, it can vary from $209 to $319, so you’ve caught it on one of the pricier days. If you want to purchase a regular ticket and then upgrade with an express pass add-on day of in the park, that price can vary too. I saw one blog saying it was $145 to upgrade (on top of the ticket price), and it can sell out on busy days 😮.
