Do you have a passion for video games? Okay cool, in this video you will hear from some Game Development students attending Full Sail University. This campus offers a community like no other for professionals. HEAR ME OUT... I think this college might be better for game development over any other degree program.. maybe except music stuff because that's how they got started.. In this video I explore an area of Full Sail that not many people get to check out.. sooo like drop a like and comment your favorite video game down below! Love you all! so does Jesus! Subscribe or I'll stop posting.. Do it! BROOOO at least give the video a like... one like bro what's that gonna do to you? like it takes two seconds.. why are you still reading this? Thank you to all the students in this video for sharing their passions with us! Also Carter... I'm sorry bro it wasn't me.. also to the mythology teacher.. He didn't mean all those mean words LOL.. oh yeah one last thing: God loves you.. okay bye! So then the car was going super fast and drifted. The clown ran away and had to catch up to the school bus. Is there a right way to hang up the toilet paper? okay now that we lost all the uninterested people who stopped reading this a while ago.. here's the truth! If you make the decision to attend Full Sail.. make sure you dedicate yourself to your craft or else your money will go to waste.. serious.. too many people come here and get their little piece of paper and walk right back to their mom's basement and do nothing for the next five years. This college teaches you everything you need to succeed but... it won't be handed to you. Loose sleep! Geek out! Study nonstop! Play and Practice and CREATE! bro like big time! don't let a minute of your tuition money go to waste... well maybe like get some sleep too because that's important. Getting an average of 6-8 hours of sleep will allow you to mentally reset and be fresh to come up with the next big thing! If you are still reading this.. congratulations now I will actually say what I wanted to say.. ummm.. ummm.. 5 random free tips about college: bet so the first one is get yourself a calendar or white board marker and keep track of everything you have going on and class schedules and events and what not.. like bro be organized! Messy people don't get hired. Two: umm.. yeah idk! anyways.. yeah hope you enjoyed the video and that it was fun and interesting and no gimmicky and commercial like because.. like.. like.. pero like.. that's all I would ever see before coming to full sail.. brooooo like I still get 5-10 ads suggested to me.. like bruuuuhhh I already go here! stoppppp!!! But yeah.. pull up to the uni and don't be shy.. that's a big tip.. don't be shyyyy!!! don't be an introvert.. like I know that sounds crazy for me to say.. but push yourself! challenge yourself!! make friends! make lots of friends! make connections with other departments! other degrees! Dang so far I'm at two thousand nine hundred and eighty eight words.. I lowkey don't remember last time I typed out a big number like that.. made me use 100% of my brain and what not.. But yeah umm subscribe for more and drop a comment about what you want to see... and what not! Here's a bible verse for you cause I know you didn't read your word this morning: James 4:10 - “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.” Just meditate on that and really ask yourself what that means.. and run with it! Have a wonderful rest of your day and thanks for stopping by.. Oh yeah also I recommend a vehicle when you attend this school because like lowkey there's nothingggggggg to do around the campus besides a few things.. but they get old quick.. very quick! YOOOOO I just noticed that RU-vid allows for 5,000 words to be typed in the description section?! whatttt..?! like that's insane.. that's a whole book! literally a whole entire book!!!!! sheeeeshhhhhhh.. #FullSailUniversity #GameDev

My main complaint is the sharing of classrooms. There are empty classrooms all over campus, but they SUCK at managing and planning where classes go. It's stupid working on lab when I have 20 obnoxious kids in the back goofing off.

Scheduling with classrooms changing around all the time does suck! One time my entire class showed up to a classroom and sat down with an instructor who wasn't even our instructor.. then he realized he was in the wrong classroom at the wrong time and our actual instructor didn't even realize it LOL

The administration is a pain in the ass to deal with, get a hold of for things, but the game curriculum is pretty solid. The PROBLEM is they allow too many end users that have never touched a computer accepted into the program.

I've heard the same thing but I have never had any issues at all communicating with anybody online, phone, or in person. I 100% agree that there needs to be more of a challenge to getting accepted into this university for a few reasons but mainly so you can ensure those who do get accepted are serious about their careers. It's all about your own effort with how much you can get out of it!

and sometimes the poor planning they like to cop out and say "In tHe InDuStRy. . ." this and that to excuse it. LIke mythology should be at the beginning it's stupid. and there are a lot more things they should have been teaching in some of the earlier classes in the design program because I saw a lot of students struggle, when IGD was literally placing assets in a world space. Not hard. half the games I play are literally doing just that. They could have been slowly introducing blueprints much much earlier.

That's my favorite saying.. "In tHe InDuStRy.." LOL I heard that a lot! If you don't do more than the bare minimum you will get behind tbh the best of the best go out of their own way to seek more knowledge and experiences in order to make their education worth it.

Sounds like you hate accountability. I would do credible work the first time and memory-base delete success off the to do list, nothing he had done the first time will cime out as successful, because the time he has spent going over it again took away time to fix and improve flaws. Carter was isolated from destructions wasn’t planning to saving every 5 seconds of testing. The video comparison isn’t valid like taking a selfie and finding it unfavorable then retrying. Terrible metaphor.

Hey, thanks for commenting and helping the algorithm suggest this video to more people that may actually be interested in this type of insight into Full Sail University. Carter is a fellow classmate I shared class with the month prior to this film and he was complete aware of the type of videos and content I make, giving me consent to film him and his awesome game he designed. When it comes to accountability there is four part that I believe are very important. Reflection, Apologizing, Repair, and Behavioral Change. I acknowledged and took responsibility for the harm and trouble I may have caused him, to include talking off camera about what actually happened. Keep in mind everything you see online isn't always the full story. Even though I apologized, I understood that healing should never be solely dependent on someone else’s accountability because they may never take accountability, I proceeded to encourage Carter by reminding him of how much he had already accomplished and recognizing his huge potential in the unexpected necessity to recreate a small portion of his game. It initially took him 2 hours but he mentioned how it will take him less time now to do because of his dedication to his craft. Often times repetition does bring us closer to perfection, but you will never be perfect and should always strive to be better tomorrow than yesterday. If you truly think that we should accept the first rendition of our work, it won't be polished and improved to function at a higher capacity that shows you proficiency! Your opinion on my metaphor is just that, your opinion.. but when speaking to Carter directly, as a creative to another creative, he perfectly understood the metaphor of continuous practice bringing forth success. I mentioned my personal example of editing a video and having to start over from scratch and being able to have a more clear vision of what I am trying to dream up. Make sure to hit that subscribe button to watch more of my awesome videos! God bless you! :)

@@anotherfilmer to be completely honest. I did enjoy the video, as it allowed me to witness a little of what goes on inside the campus grounds. I’m doing full sail online. The great thing is that once I graduate I can come back and relearn or learn something new in terms of the degree I’ve partaken in. So if I seem a bit baiting but I wanted to see what you’d say from my first comment. Mostly because out of my 10 years of being on social media that is the longest reply I’ve ever gotten and I don’t actually get replies either, even from those that “reply to all their viewers”. Thanks for shedding some light! And god bless you 🙏
