This still doesn’t answer the question its titled. Thumbs down. If it’s in the green parts and the roots, does that mean the potato is safe to eat when cutting that out?
Are you American? I’m English & believe if it looks ok & smells ok, it’s ok! We’d scrape mould off jam when I was little & use the underneath, same with mould on cheese. Even picking mould spots from bread & toasting it. Would definitely toast stale bread or make breadcrumbs etc. Been a little less that way but can see us having to be like this once again, very soon. Seems to me that lots of Americans are terrified of food, even saying if something’s been out on the counter (even covered) for more than a couple of hours, one must throw it away!! So wasteful!
@@obsolise8063 can you imagine wasting a whole jar of jam or a whole loaf of bread because of a mold spot when we were younger? Americans are spoiled and their kids are even worse that's why Societies in the condition it's in
@obsolise8063 local health authorities and FDA thise 3letters agencies set up rules to fail American OVER HALF OF THE TIMES, leaving us ignorant and sick for an lifetime 🤕
