@@andyberry6994 Yes, I made a food grade stainless steel plate that I put in above the IMS screen. Very thin as I cut it with tin snips. I put holes in the plate from the top of the plate to the bottom with a nail so it keeps the plate off the screen giving it some room to allow the water to flow out or in when you back flush. The group head has ridges that will keep the plate from sticking to the upper surface of the group head and stopping the water. I did not put holes right under the water inlet. I also put 5 slits using the snips from the outside edge toward the middle about 4mm long, the snips bend the plate on one side up and the other down just a little so the water can go around on the outside as well. It also keeps the plate from rotating and causing holes to move under the water inlet. This is crude but works extremely well. This is much like the Breville dual boiler diffuser plate just not so thick. I was happy with the mod. I have the BDB now as well and can tell you I like it but it is not 3 times better then my Infuser with that plate installed. Now the BDB has the same one water inlet and is covered up with the diffuser plate and it has to be placed perfectly so no holes are under the water inlet or you have the same issue with the IMS screen on it. Big improvement in coffee flavor, you can taste so much more of what the bean has to offer. Good luck, I do think it's worth it.

I think that screw comes on Barista pro machine only pre-installed....it will not work on Barista express because water distribution is completely different.

How is the water distribution different on the Pro besides the screw? Just curious.
