This is the first speculation video I have done since the Alien DLC. I normally don't do these unless there is some strong evidence pointing towards a licence, and I feel for the first time in a long while, Jason might actually come to Dead By Daylight in the future.... No Mathieu cote said it’s way to complicated to have Jason come in the fog but they did say Jason is always welcomed into the game but that will be cool if he’s added into the game the 9 year roadmap they are adding more license chapters than original chapters.
Jason… A childhood favorite of mine.. me and my dad LOVE Friday the thirteenth.. just seeing that hockey mask is gonna make me and him scream in happiness.
If im not mistaken, they said a full chapter takes about a year to complete. Since this Jason Universe thing JUST came out, it's very likely Jason will be in the next roadmap, not this roadmap.
I would want it to be saved for the Anniversary too. It just makes more sense given Jason finally joining would be THAT big of a deal even dwarfing the Anniversary itself.
Since we know most licenses for killers for this year i say that Jason is probably next year's anniversary chapter. It would also be fitting for one of the most hyped license be the one to start year 10 of Dead by Daylight
@@coldseraphimNew Line Cinema owns Tommy Jarvis, and they aren’t affiliated with Horror Inc who’s behind Jason Universe. Thats why he’d 100% be a killer paragraph unless they do an original survivor with him (They won’t) and there’s an original survivor paragraph after the March chapter anyway
Also FYI, New Line Cinema is NOT on board for Jason Universe. As this is the case, it would explain why Jason is a paragraph killer, as New Line owns the character of Tommy Jarvis.
I personally hope when he joins, he gets skins of his various movie incarnations... the one I'm hoping for the most is from Freddy vs Jason. It'd bring their rivalry full circle.
if they finally get the license i hope they create a HUGE chapter, like I hope its not the only killer dlc that he talked about. If they want to make money and have the biggest audience in the game they should do a full pack (Jason, Tommy Jarvis, Crystal Lake map..etc)
for me, Jason would be an INSTANT buy. I did that only ONCE, with the return of Stranger Things. Jason is such an iconic killer. My love for him grew when Netherealm announced him as part of MK X’s Kombat Pack DLC. As you said, the game would never be a complete horror museum without him
This sounds good and I’m hoping it will eventually make it to where dbd can get Jason into dbd. I think he would most likely come as a anniversary chapter alongside Tommy Jarvis and a camp crystal lake map
Jason is literally my absolute favorite horror character of all time. Dead by daylight for me was only beat out by one game and that was Friday the 13th. Obviously now it’s extremely hard for that to be my favorite horror game now that it’s been discontinued. But Jason being in dbd will only reinforce my love for the game tenfold
I wanna preface this by saying i absolutely think Jason needs to be in the game and i want him there!! He's insanely iconic and beloved HOWEVER im really struggling to come up with anythin to make him unique enough to stand out in the roster. Like what could his power be to set him apart from other M1 killers?
I have an idea, perhaps Jason won’t require hooking as he is known for finding brutal ways to kill people, similar to pyramid head, but he can mori you right away. Obviously that would need something else to balance it out. And another idea, what if different weapons are scattered around the map that he can pick up and use, creating different abilities and unique and varying mori kills.
In most of the movies he's shown to be a unstoppable force that breaks anything of use so make his power like rage in f13 the game, make him have a charge similar to oni by breaking gens, injuring survivors etc then when it's fully charged and activated he could just walk through pallets and most windows but walks more slowly. Maybe add a teleport feature to teleport from fixed one puddle to another. Perks could focus on gen breaking, pallet breaking and injuring. FYI I'm just throwing stuff at a wall and what sticks so any other ideas will be nice.
Hopefully if we do get a Friday the 13th chapter we need to have Pamela as a skin for Jason or at least have her speak to him during the trial like the Friday the 13th game or as an Easter egg in his map(if he gets one)

@@tomatosauce587one could make the argument that those aren’t horror games. if they plan on relaunching the f13 game or making something new but similar it might be a conflict of interest to have him in dbd as well.
@@alexandervelez9507 they ain’t relaunching f13 the game, they physically can’t because New Line Cinema is not on board with Jason Universe, only Jason himself can be licensed out to studios now, which is why he’s gonna be a paragraph killer in DBD
Jason should have a “Death Grip” as part of his power. Death Grip would allow Jason to pick up and carry a Survivor to an environmental Kill in the trial. Every map should have different environmental Kills just for Jason!
I like rhe fact maybe jason is chapter 39 but i still think we need pennyvise still so he could be great pick as solo licensed killer and bhvr might push away jason as full chapter instead
Jasons power should be like meyers but better, he can instant break pallets and breakable walls or at least break them faster. He moves faster by 10 % faster or when he gets stunned by a pallet he recovers by 25 % faster
Many people probably don't know, but there is a possibility of Slenderman coming out as a solo killer since it is confirmed that Blue Isle studios had reached out to Behavior at some point.. so who knows if any solo killer chapters will be him too..
As much as i want Jason in dbd, i think they'll wait a bit to make sure there wont be another random lawsuit mess. But ik it'll happen just a matter of when. The thing is i hope it'll be a full chapter like came crystal lake ofc and Tommy jarvis
They don’t wait on this stuff, they snag it the first chance they get. They could’ve waited for Pinhead to go back to Clive but they got an opportunity beforehand and took it. You can’t take chances like that in this field, because you can decline the opportunity and it may never come up again
Ay tbh. We got 2v2 mode coming soon and its likely to keep coming back. Maybe rhey wanna get the base mechanics right intime for Jason so they can do a big trailer showing off 2v8 mode We can finally see Myers next to Jason or Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Williams Easter egg (thats a real thing btw its s comic sequel to their vs movie.) Who knows. Its going to be a great time for dbd
The one thing I’m gonna hate about the Jason voorhees collab is that people will have SUCH high expectations. It’ll be basically impossible to fit the perfect expectations and would even be considered at utterdog crap if it’s not exactly how people want it.
The only speculation that I have for this is that IF Jason is coming to DBD, with as massive as a horror icon as he is, I think it'd be a bit underwhelming to only have him come to the game as a solo killer chapter with nothing else. It'd be a much smarter play for them to bring a map (like a campground) and even a couple survivors if they can pull that off. But at the VERY least I'd expect their to be a map. It would also be awesome if they created a special killer shack variant for the map that has his mothers remains in it.
Idk how they would use his powers in game. He is speculated to be able to teleport and can in the ft13 game (at least zombie Jason can) and maybe built in brutal strength? I just don't know what he'd have to set him apart from other killers. But to be fair that wouldn't really matter much because it's Jason. If he was just another standard m1 killer with some anti heal and dash id be happy
Honestly after Jason I’d just love to see a fine tune of characters and adding more map variety and features for a year or so. My dream is they one day work with Universal Studios for a Studio map where there’s like 4-5 warehouses and each has a set of a classic monster movie, like Phantom’s Operahouse, Frankenstein’s Lab, Wolf Man’s Forest, Dracula’s Crypt, and the RITA on the Black Lagoon (maybe add a Jaws easter egg to that one)
Would any huge horror titan be missing after Jason? Because I cant think of any other character apart from Jason, maybe predator but i'd say that with alien already here its good enough (and im not counting fnaf fuck off)
Jason is confirmed for Multiversus(was revealed as of this comment),datamined in Fortnite as well,and Jason was teased as well for COD. BHVR in the past has said that if there was any chance for Jason to arrive in the fog,and well,this is THAT chance. He's guaranteed now,its not a matter of if,but when
If we're going to speculate on a Jason license, why wouldn't we expect it in December based on the gaming announcements planned regarding Jason? December has a Friday the 13th, it's within the 2024 calendar as you pointed out. All they would need is the Jason and Camp licenses and they could even make their own original Camp Counselor and not have to worry about likeness rights
But the Friday the 13th game is still dead (it’s literally unplayable) that game had potential it was about to get the Jason X update but then the lawsuit happened. Hopefully if Jason does come to dbd they will give him back to the Friday the 13th game aswell

I have probably figured out who will be the Killer in Chapter 35 (confirmed licensed standalone Killer Chapter), which will be released in March 2025. On March 2, 2015, the game Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was released and ideally in March 2025 the game will celebrate its 10th anniversary, ideally when will have Chapter 35 with Licensed Killer. The main villain in FNAF 3 was William Afton aka Springtrap, so i think Chapter 35 will be Fnaf with Springtrap as a killer. Maybe you can make a RU-vid video about this theory?
I think that's exactly why Jason is needed. We have every other big horror guy, it feels like were missing out by missing such a huge one when everything else has been added.

Yes. And he would be the only S tier killer that I would never hate to go against. Nurse Sweatlords and Blight professionals just aren't fun to face. Jason would be fun to face every single time, no matter what tier he is in.
Since Jason is in Multiversus now I believe Dbd is already on the case maybe they are even working on him rn wich means he could join after the August chapter! 😊😊😊
I noticed in the ptb that they added a weird fog to the midwich map, so there might be coming chapter 2 of sillent hill? Idk what would they add but who knows?
I’m gonna be honest I think that there’s a LONG way to go before anyone touches the Friday the 13th property again. They need to prove they’re doing more than nostalgia baiting before any company risks putting their new version of Jason in their own properties and BHVR is especially cautious after everything that happened with the pinhead rights holders. I’d love Jason to come but it has to be down the line after they prove they’re actually trying with the property
