I was raised in church all of my life and “repented of my sins” Numerous times going forward doing my part. It wasn’t until I turned 54 years old that God revealed this true Gospel to me. Praise Jesus his work took away my sins.

Excellent teaching! When I was a young believer, this is what I bought into. It wasn’t enough that my own father’s love and acceptance was conditional. Now my heavenly Father’s was too. Several years after I was born again, I prayed for strength over a particular sin that I was struggling with during a challenging time. When I failed miserably, I told God, “I give up. I’ll never be able to please You.” For about a year, I avoided church, only attending intermittently. I was hurting so badly, but didn’t know how to get through the pain. But God...oh, how I love those two words together...led me to a doctrinally sound church that preached eternal security. Rather than embracing a lazy antinomian attitude after discovering this freedom in Christ, I was, instead, alive and whole, desiring to please God from a pure and grateful heart! Not out of a sense of duty. My Christian walk became more and more stable and healthy as I grew in the Lord. This heretical doctrine of Lordship Salvation is exactly what Paul warned the Galatians about. It’s a dangerous doctrine for both believers and those who only believe they’re believers.

@truepeace3 Hi there! One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could be saved from the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end. It was the *time of the end* NOT *the end of time!* HUGE DIFFERENCE! The reason they had to persevere to the end of the age, was for the obvious practical purpose of avoiding the 70AD judgement. If they remained under the law or went back under the law, they would face the judgement in 70AD. They needed to be watching for His coming in 70AD. The sign was when Jerusalem was surrounded by enemy forces and when they saw that sign, they were to flee to the mountains. And if they were not sober they would likely miss it and be destroyed! A Jewish historian recorded that no believers died in the 70AD destruction. They all fled to the mountains outside of Jerusalem. This explains much of why there is so much division between Free Gracers and Lordshipers. It was the law that caused wrath and that's why the law came to an end in 70AD. Romans 4:15 *Because the law worketh wrath:* for where no law is, there is no transgression. If you view all the warning verses in light of the judgement that came in 70AD, they all make sense and most disagreements regarding them would disappear. Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, *There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.* Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, *This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.* Luke 21:36 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are *ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE...* Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants *things which must shortly come to pass;* and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, *even those who pierced Him...* Revelation 22:10 And he said to me, *"Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.* Luke 21:20-24 20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. *22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.*

The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse of being under the first Covenant law. Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save *THAT WHICH WAS LOST.* Apparently not ALL were lost, right? *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. @@SalvationByGrace I don't think so, the bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and we know the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) and Jesus says in John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me." So we know that all have sinned, and that the wages of sin is death, and Jesus Christ is the only one that can cleanse us of our sins and since most of the world rejects him, I don't think most of the world is saved as you seemed to have eluded to.

This video represents a complete misunderstanding of what Lordship salvation is. "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8). Saving faith leads to obedience, which is the fruit of salvation. The Bible teaches that those that are truly saved and believe, will obey: "A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit" (Matthew 7: 18). Please reread Matthew 7: those that claim to have done those works did not "do the will of my Father" and were "workers of lawlessness." That is why if you claim to believe that Jesus is Lord, but have no pattern of obedience, you have every reason to question whether your belief in Christ is genuine. Now that doesn't mean that a believer will live a perfect life, but there will be a pattern of increasing obedience (sanctification). I believe in Lordship salvation, and I would never say that I am trusting in my works to save me. My works have NOTHING to do with my salvation. They only testify that my faith is a genuine faith. Matthew 7 is not at all addressing those that believe in Lordship salvation, but rather those that do not believe in it. The passage is clearly stating that if you claim to believe in Christ but have no pattern of obedience that testifies to your belief, you have no relationship with Christ. Dr. Hank Lindstrom's teaching ultimately leads to antinomianism. He implies that one can claim to believe in Christ, be saved, but never repent, never obey, and live however they want. The book of James says: "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good[a] is that? 17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2: 14-17). Is James teaching works based salvation? No. He is teaching that if you claim to have faith, it will be demonstrated by works, just as "By faith Abraham obeyed" (Hebrews 11: 8).

@@mutulica10 @mutulica10 Abraham was justified by faith, and his works verified that his faith was genuine. His works did not save him but were the fruit of his faith. Nothing in the last two verses of Hebrews 11 disproves that argument. The book of James is a New Testament book, and it was written after Jesus was sacrificed. Therefore, faith without works is dead is a New Testament teaching as well as an Old Testament doctrine. Out of love for you, I hope you reconsider your language in calling me a "fool" and a "toddler". Jesus did warn that "whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire" (Matthew 5: 22). That type of language is precisely the byproduct of doctrine that denies Christ's Lordship.

@@SalvationByGrace Jesus was sent to the lost sheep of Israel, this is true. Jesus was born under the Law, so everything he did was under the Law. The old testament prophets all prophesied of the coming of their messiah, which means the Christ. Jesus forefield all 613 laws concerning the Jews. It's true we were never as Gentiles ever under the mosaic Law. Jesus came to the Jews first to set up their kingdom on earth as prophesied by the prophets. Daniel 490 years for Israel to finish their business. When Christ was crucified, only 483 years was pasted on God's prophetic stop watch. When they denied Christ as their Messiah, the clock stop at crucifixion. Israel as a nation was temporary put on hold. Jews also told the Jews, he had other sheep they knew not of . God look down the time line of humanity and already knew he was going to accomplish. When they Stoned Stephen in The book of Acts, that was their last straw for their earthly kingdom to be set up. Salvation was always suppose to the gentiles through The Jewish nation. Whey they finally rejected him, they crucified him. Keep in mind the book of Acts is a transitional book. From the time of Stephen being stoned to the calling of Saul who became the apostle Paul to where we are today. We are not under any OT LAWS. The apostle Paul is the apostle chosing and taught by Jesus himself. Paul was Not taught the Gospel of Grace for today by any man. Jesus revealed himself to Paul various times teaching him the Gospel of grace. All of OT was a for shadow for the Messiah to come and for all the Sins of the world, not just Jews Whosoever Calls upon the name of the Lord shall be Saved ( Ephesians 2:8,9 ) We are Saved by grace through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. Also, ( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 ). Is THE Gospel today . All God requires us to do today under the dispensation of Grace is to believe - Trust in Jesus Christ for their Sin debt to be paid by him I believe: Jesus died for my Sins . That is the only requirement for once & for All Salvation and receive the free gift of eternal or everlasting life through what he done on the cross. Jesus promised eternal life only to those who believe he did it for them. Make it personal. Hope this helps. The other remaining 7 years of Daniel's prophecy will be carried out in the 7 year tribulation period. Them , new heaven and new earth after of the the judgement is over. There will come down from heaven a new heaven and new earth. Can re as d that in revelation. Thanks , God bless.🙏🙏🙏

@@SalvationByGrace It's not just the Jews who need the gospel and Jesus to die for their sins. That's silly and wrong. "For God so loved THE WORLD He gave His only begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." "and not for our sins only, but for the sins of the whole world..." 1 John 2 According to your logic, the gentiles have no sin imputed to them because there was no law to convict them. You're saying Christ only came for Israel, but that's not what these verses are saying. Christ said "I have other sheep that are not of this fold and I will bring them in and there will be one flock and one shepherd." This means gentile believers. But this is also wrong. You have to read the whole new testament. You have Philippian Jailer (not a jew) who is about to kill himself and asks how he can be saved. According to your doctrine, Paul should say "you're already going to heaven you don't need to do anything because you're not under the law so you're sinless in God's sight." But that's not what he said. He said "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, you and your house." Acts 16:30-31 Paul said, "we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but NOW commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will JUDGE THE WORLD in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." Acts 17 The law is written on all men's hearts. This is our consience that bears witness to us. "For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel." Romans 2 All are guilty, all have sinned (except young children and retarded, I believe God applies the blood of Jesus to them and they are not accountable because they didn't have sufficient knowledge of what they were doing). Every nation of people who knew that it was wrong to lie, steal, murder, cheat on their wives, gossip-will face God in the judgment if they do not have faith in God. Many in the bible didn't have knowledge of the gospel but had faith in God which He counted to them as righteousness. I don't know what God's criteria is for those who don't know Jesus but sought God earnestly and trusted Him to whatever extent He revealed Himself to them, but in those cases I've heard about, Jesus revealed himself and told them He was God any way in some dream or vision. We know this: God is just and will judge rightly, knowing man's heart perfectly. Since the vast majority of people are heading to hell because they have violated their conscience, it is necessary that we take the gospel out into the world to as many as God has for us each.

@@els7362 My point was how can you know whether person is saved or not? It is by looking at his behavior, a saved person will always begin to bear the right fruits after salvation, while not saved person will stay same as before. What comes to free will, it is a very mysterious subject, because before you can decide to choose something, you have to be drawed towards that choice. As Jesus said a good tree does NOT bear bad fruit nor the opposite, so if your heart is good and clean, you cannot choose the wrong, evil thing, yet if your heart is wicked, you wont choose the right thing. Yet how come some people are good hearted and others are not, where does it comes from, is a whole other subject.

@@nikokapanen82 I think one of the difficulties with the approach is that we need a way to see a doctrine so people won't be deceived. We need to see a doctrine through in the church so false converts don't skate by. It is a noble concern. It is a reasonable concern. But are we as willing to understand our role in the balance to each other in that? Are we able to operate out of the fruits of the spirit to bring a saved one to a sober mind that aids them in the sanctification process? Because shaming each other is good in some ways...but if that is the "go to," that is kind of sick. And not sober minded. And it is kind of like a doctrine looking for the fruit in others via our non-demonstration the fruit we seek in others. Something to think about. In Matt 7:23 it is interesting to note that the fruit looked for is the fruit praised by those who are the "many." In contrast Jesus "knows" those that did not even know it was fruit because they were operating out of how the spirit of God moved in them. Matt 25:37 & 38. So what is the contrast being given here? Is it, "you'd better know you have good fruit?" Or is it, "Those that are known by Him may not recognize their fruit." Is the answer to salvation before Him, "Lord I gave my all to receive your all." Or is it, "Lord you gave so much, how could I not do the same unto others?" Its seems to be the fruit of mercy Christ is looking at. Shame only goes so far. He who loves much is shamed much is not in scripture. But he who loves much is forgiven much. Also James 2:13: "For judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment." Not, enforcing fruit in others. Blessings.

@@branch9422 Oh yes, i believe that there is the crossing line where a person who has been sanctified from all the habitual sins, so he does no longer live in any sin at all and sins only occasionally in a very short periods of time and repents right away everytime as fast as possible, yet because of that he is looking down at others who still struggles with their sins and then another person who is being humbled down and dares not to judge anybody because he himself keeps struggling with his own habitual sins, so which one of these individuals is closer to God? It is not all that clear. Yet saying this, any true believer has a testimony to tell how his life has changed by the Holy Spirit after he came to know Jesus. If there was no change there is no faith.

only the true children of God who obey and serve Jesus there entire life since they first became born again and actually listen to Jesus's voice speak to them will be saved if you are not a true servant of God Jesus Christ you can refuse to take the mark of the beast all you want you will still perish in hell if you didn't serve and obey Jesus before the mark even got implemented on the world Jesus's gospel proves that nobody is saved by belief alone. and Jesus's gospel also proves that yes we are required to do more than just believe if all you got is belief alone and the hope of a rapture to finally happen then you will find yourselves in hell you won't enter heaven john 10:25-30. john 5:39-44. the book of thomas mathew, mark, luke and john is the gospel of Jesus Christ not the entire bible book and you are not born again if you are a sinning believer sinning believers perish in hell if you truly really are born again then you are a sinless believer not a sinning believer you need to read mathew, mark, luke and john. Jesus Christ Himself with His own words proves that nobody is saved by belief alone if you think you are somehow saved by belief alone then you are quite literally disagreeing with Jesus Christ Himself and you are 1 of the many people who don't believe the words Jesus spoke and you don't believe the works Jesus did you only believe the crucifixion part like Jesus explains in john 10:25-30. and john 5:39-44 the pharisees and hirelings and people who think themselves to be saved by belief alone are the people Jesus spoke about recorded in john 10:25-30 and john 5:39-44. you don't have a relationship with Jesus if you don't have hear His voice speak to you and Jesus's voice speaking to us is never a voice in our head Jesus speaking to us is in our spirit not our flesh only evil spirits speak in our mind and flesh ears salvation it is not free we are required to do our part too or perish in hell if we are too lazy to do it the gospel of Jesus mathew, mark, luke, john and the book of thomas it proves that nobody is saved by belief alone and it also proves that yes we are required to have works not only have belief in God Jesus Christ we must believe and obey Jesus not just believe if you think you are saved by belief alone and just simply by saying the sinners prayer then you are a fake/ phony christian you are not a true child of God the true children of God listen to Jesus's voice speak to them and they actually obey God Jesus and they as Jesus tells of them to do fake/phony christians go to the false church that is the church buildings in this earthly world and are led by human mortals they are not led by God only those filled with the Holy Spirit can and do Jesus's voice speak to them. only those who don't have the Holy Spirit don't and can't hear Jesus's voice speak to them if you don't hear Jesus's voice speak to you then you had better be praying because you are not saved and you are not 1 of Jesus's sheep/children if you don't hear Jesus speak to you and that should be everyday of you're life not a 1 day encounter with Jesus that happened 10years ago john 10:25-30. john 5:39-44. Jesus's blood covers over past repented sins. Jesus's blood doesn't cover over repeated continuous sins especially if they are wilful Jesus only forgives past repented sins. Jesus doesn't forgive repeated continuous sins especially if they are wilful Jesus said why do you call me Lord Lord but not do as i say? Jesus also said they worship me with there lips but there heart are far away you don't do as Jesus tells of you if you think you're salvation is sealed with belief alone you only have salvation if you have a personal relationship with God Jesus Christ Himself if you can't hear Jesus's voice speak to you then you isn't filled with the Holy Spirit and you don't know Jesus truly and you don't truly have salvation salvation is a journey with Jesus salvation isn't a event. only a fool would think they can be saved into heaven by just simply saying the sinners prayer and by having only belief alone if that's all you got for you're salvation then you shouldn't be surprised if you find yourself in hell Jesus's gospel the book of thomas mathew, mark, luke and john proves that nobody is saved by belief alone and Jesus's gospel also proves that yes we are required to do more than just believe belief alone will never have you gaining access into heaven Jesus Christ own words proves it everyone that believes in a grace gospel ya'll are in direct opposition of God Jesus Christ's truth and God Jesus Christ's gospel and God Jesus Christ Himself and ya'll disbelieve God Jesus Christ's words/gospel Jesus Christ never preached a grace gospel. so for a fact if a grace gospel is what you believe in and if a grace gospel is what you have you're faith in then yes you do in fact disbelieve God Jesus Christ's words gospel if Jesus Christ never preached a grace gospel and proof is in the bible that Jesus for a fact never preached a grace gospel then it's common sense that the grace gospel is obviously satan's gospel most people that claim to be christians most of them believe in and have there faith in satan's gospel not Jesus's truth the proof is found in the bible book scriptures not God's fault most people in this earthly world are too foolish to pay attention and not God's fault most people are too foolish to actually listen to what Jesus said and says most people in this earthly world have already let satan win with how most of ya'll have let satan convince ya'll of lies and how ya'll let satan get ya'll to believe the opposite of God Jesus Christ's truth gospel satan is unfortunately very clever and did a good job of deceiving most people indeed unfortunately. most of ya'll don't even believe in the true real word of God that is Jesus Christ Himself. most people think book is God or the word of God which is foolish when scriptures found within the bible proves that Jesus is the word of Vod not the book definition of a lukewarm is a believer who keeps on willfully sinning who believes in satan's lies that has told them that they can somehow enter heaven as a sinning believer even after what is recorded in the book of revelations about God spitting the lukewarms out of His mouth and every other thing that is proof/evidence recorded in the bible that proves nobody is saved in there sin that also proves nobody is saved by belief alone and it also proves that yes we all are required to do more than just believe common sense says if God spits you out of His mouth you obviously isn't entering God's Kingdom of Heaven because most people are too busy nitpicking the parts out of the bible that only has the bible verses that is 100% about grace only reality check there is other things found in the bible that isn't 100% about grace for a reason because salvation isn't about 100% grace only and because being saved to heaven isn't about 100% grace only only a fool would call the bible book scriptures there word of God then nitpick half the whole entire book because most people disbelieve half of what there self proclaimed word of God says and that's sad Revelation 21:8 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. Jesus is basically calling out all the people who are glued to the scriptures and saying how wrong they is for it if the bible is you're guide then you don't know Jesus and you isn't led by God and you isn't following the guidance of the Holy Spirit the real actual true children of God are never glued to the bible book scriptures because they are actually Holy Spirit filled and they actually are led by God and they actually listen to Jesus's voice speak to them. God Jesus isn't confined to a book and He isn't confined to a building you won't find God Jesus in a church building and you won't find Him in a book the bible only tells us about God Jesus Christ and His requirements He has for us all that isn't actually knowing Jesus and that isn't actually communicating with Him and that definitely isn't hearing Jesus's voice speak to us if you think communication with God Jesus requires a bible then you are spiritually blind and deceived and you definitely don't know God Jesus and Jesus isn't the one you communicate with if the bible is where you search for Him and if the bible is where you try to talk and communicate with God Jesus then it isn't Jesus you communicate with and you don't know Him Jesus's voice speaking to us is never a voice in our head Jesus speaks to us in our spirit not in our flesh and not in our flesh ears we are supposed to worship God Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth not in a church building and not in a book. prayer/praying and communicating with God Jesus Christ is the same we are supposed to do it outside of a church building and outside of the bible church building = false church. God Jesus Christ Himself and His real actual true children that is the true church in spirit it is a spiritual thing spiritually you take part in the false church by attending a church building if you do that is you isn't taking part in the true church by doing church attendance to a physical church building in this earthly world and you isn't knowing Jesus and you isn't communicating with Jesus if the bible is what you always run to and if the bible is where you search for Jesus then you are looking in the wrong place and you definitely don't know Him if so we are supposed to search for God Jesus Christ in spirit with prayer/praying no where's else what Jesus said recorded in john 10:25-30. john 5:38-44 makes it quite clear if only people would only pray to God Jesus Christ for His truth they would realize even Jesus Christ Himself spoke against the scriptures in a way especially about people being glued to the scriptures Jesus is obviously against people being glued to the scriptures you are only being like the pharisees by glueing yourself to the scriptures and obviously the pharisees are not true children of God, pharisees are people Jesus Him called hypocrites. if Jesus Christ never preached a grace gospel which He didn't preach a grace gospel the proof is recorded in the bible then obviously anything the is a grace gospel is in direct opposition of God Jesus Christ and His truth and anything that is a grace gospel is obviously the opposite of God Jesus Christ's truth but most people are too spiritually blind and deceived to realize it and too see it until it is too late and obviously when it is too late those people find themselves in hell disappointed and confused to why they are there in hell saying stuff like but i believed in God Jesus then God Jesus will answer them saying to them but you disobeyed me you listened to men instead of listening to me you lived how you wanted to instead of living how i planned for you to live but you do as you wish instead of doing as i say Jesus said why do you call me Lord Lord and not do as i say and Jesus also said they worship me with there lips but there heart is far away then that only makes God Jesus Christ justified for casting people into hell yes God loves us but why should God have to let people into His glorious Kingdom of Heaven that don't truly love Him which also makes it make sense on how a God of love can and does cast people into hell God will not tolerate disobedience and He will not let the one's who didn't truly love Him into His kingdom of heaven and obviously the one's who disobeyed Him the same He won't let them into His kingdom of heaven and God is not obligated to let anyone into His kingdom He doesn't have to let anyone into His kingdom Jesus Christ Himself said those who love Him will keep His commandments and keep means to not break and it also means those who actually obey Jesus those who disobey Jesus prove with there heart fruits and actions they don't truly love Jesus why should God let those people into His kingdom exactly a mother loves her children but that doesn't mean she tolerates them being disobedient and that doesn't mean she allows her children to do whatever they want without correcting them and obviously a mother disciplines her children God is the same way about us He doesn't tolerate disobedience and He corrects and disciplines us and the same as a mother God's patience only lasts for so long before His patience runs out and most people don't seem to realize that and obviously when God's patience runs out that's when people die or get sick or have bad things befall them if bad things happen to people or they get sick God allowed it to happen because of disobedience but we can also think God He didn't let that person die yet either because God does have patience and mercy and God does give grace to people but obviously His patience, mercy and grace is temporary for most people and it's human mortals own fault if it is temporary for them how temporary God's patience, mercy and grace is that is totally up to us whether we obey or disobey God will determine it God didn't make the rules and commandments that He made for no reason if people could do whatever they want no matter what obviously would have been no need for God's rules and commandments obviously God made those rules and commandments for a reason not for no reason most people don't seem to realize that most people are too busy doing what they want which is being disobedient to God Jesus we are supposed to do what God allows to do and tells of us to do not whatever we want to do ourselves and the only way we can be able to know what God wants us to do and what He will allow us to do is if you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and you actually do hear Jesus's voice speak to you yes that means we are supposed to quite literally communicate with God Himself not make assumptions john 10:25-30 only those with the Holy Spirit dwelling in them can hear Jesus speak to them. only the people that don't have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them they are the people that can't hear Jesus speak to them which is another thing that debunks that belief alone saved lie yes that does means most believers and most people overall they don't have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them and most people are deceived by satan to think otherwise most people don't even truly pray directly to God Jesus Christ anymore that right there is foolish on human mortals part how do you expect to know the real truth of God Jesus Christ and how do you expect to not be lead astray to not be deceived to not be spiritually blind if you don't even pray to God Jesus Christ so yeah heaven is empty compared to what it could have been because most human mortals are deceived then ya'll wonder Jesus said what He did recorded in john 5:38-44 everything that happens God allows it to happen nothing happens without God allowing it to happen that's how much control and power God has and that should scare people if they are smart enough to fear God like we all should that is of course and Jesus Himself said recorded in the bible why do you call me Lord Lord but you don't do what what i say?

Hi Debra, you are correct that gifts have to be received at some point and in some fashion. And if you don't receive the truth now, you can't experience it now. But just because you don't believe it yet and have not received it yet, does not mean you won't after you die. Can you acknowledge that not all gifts are received the same way? Think about how the air you breath is a gift from God and the sun is a gift from God. After death is when all will receive the Son, as the Sun is received by all now. Philippians 2:10-11 10so that *at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and ON EARTH and UNDER THE EARTH, 11and that every tongue will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD,* to the glory of God the Father. Debra let me know what you think.

Sadly, Matthew 7 is not at all addressing those that believe in Lordship salvation, but rather those that do not believe in it.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that whatever the law says, *IT SAYS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNDER THE LAW...* Psalm 147:19-20 19He declares His word to *JACOB,* His statutes and judgments to *ISRAEL.* 20He has done this for *NO OTHER NATION;* they do not know His judgments Hallelujah! Amos 3:1-2 *1People of ISRAEL,* I rescued you from Egypt. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. Marius Nel The scripture in James regarding faith without works is dead, not being being mixed with works is to born-again Christians, who are already saved. The context here is not about salvation but about how if we say we have faith and will not step out in that faith through action, we will not see our faith produce anything since we didn't step out to see it work...so faith is dead...being unable to produce the effect we as Christians are believing for. If someone is hungry we may have faith God will provide for that person but if we have means to help them and do not then our faith in God's provision does not help that man because we fail to help. That was one of James examples...he is NOT speaking of salvation which is freely given to all who believe...in regard to salvation Jesus mixed our faith, which came by hearing his living word and combined it with his already accomplished work of the cross. We need no work to be saved, simply believe. James is talking to Christians who already have been saved and is saying...step out in faith for what you're believing God for or your faith will not be seen it will in affect be dead.

branchingvine Exactly!..and we have no bondage in that message as some of the LS would love to have us all tied in. We should want to do those things because we love the Lord and are grateful for His shed blood and he gives us freedom not lock us up in some *Parole* Doctrine. James is explaining that good works with joy should follow the believer after not before salvation. I think it's a crime ..especially for a babe in Christ..they must be so confused when they hear this sort of teaching that has spread in most of the churches. I wish i could really see how Paul and James would have handled it. I know what they said but to see them rebuke this would be fantastic. But even more so Jesus Christ Himself. P.S. in closing i'm telling you to watch out for subtle cults that masquerade as this video up says because they are very clever in wording until you line it up with the Word Of God and use the Holy Spirit's discernment. Their doctrine brings no joy either and is crippling the body of Christ .Chaplin Bob is one here that will fight you tooth and nail about these things on the law. He claims we have to keep the law. I have had my run ins with him on many channels. Just a heads up.

Timothy Titus Daugett you are assuming Romans that - walking after the flesh means "how you live". it does not my friend. walking after the flesh means "keeping the law for salvation". point 1 - the carnal church was saved!!! and they were "walking after the flesh" according to your definition. 1 Cor 3:1-3 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, BUT AS UNTO CARNAL, even as unto babes IN CHRIST. 2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3 For ye ARE YET CARNAL: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, ARE YE YET CARNAL AND WALK AS MEN? YUP - these "babes IN CHRIST were carnal and "walking as men". point 2 - the church at galatia were saved but "false brethren" crept in preaching "another gospel"--adding the law to the gospel. We read in chapter 3. Gal 3:1-3 - O FOOLISHGalatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so FOOLISH? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect BY THE FLESH? These saved brethren were believing a perverted gospel because someone came in preaching the law for salvation. Paul called them foolish for trying to perfect themselves "in the flesh". OR by "walking after the flesh". OVERALL - friend, RUN from whomever is teaching you. They are false brethren who are preaching "another gospel". you MUST be perfect to go to heaven all are sinners all must go to hell to pay for their sins This is why Jesus came to die--to pay for your sins. Believe (trust) that Jesus died for ALL your sins and rose again. As a result, you will have "no sins" left to send you to hell. Jesus is the ONLY way. Behold, the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. ONLY the Lamb takes away sin. with respect,

I love that verse Troy. It's wording is so funky! I have memorized it and it is so true. It truly describes the relationship between works and grace so well. Yes they sure do. One of the main things that causes so much division in Christianity today is, not recognizing that the warnings in the bible were to those under the law, so they could avoid the soon to come fiery judgement against unbelieving Jews, Jerusalem, and the temple with animal sacrifice that came in 70AD, that brought the Old Covenant age to an end.

Yeah but do you believe you must repent of sins to be saved, do good works to keep your salvation or Do you believe you don’t need to do at word just believe in The Son ad what He did alone?

Salvation is by grace alone, faith in the atonement of Jesus for our sins. And if we are saved, the Holy Spirit works in the believer to conform us into Jesus' image over time which is the goal of the Christian life. Our works are the result of abiding in the vine of Christ for without Him we can do nothing (John 15). Our works and Jesus becoming Lord of our lives is the result of salvation not the means. Repentance is an acknowledging that we have sinned after knowledge of the atonement and is a recognition of the need to change. The Apostle John taught that anyone who continues to willfully and deliberately sin ( which is the meaning of the Greek in I John 3:9) has never been saved in the first place. Our works are the evidence of a genuine salvation. As James said, even the devils believe. Our grace produced works or fruit distinguishes us from a believing demon. @@MAX24988

@@MAX24988 We are saved by grace alone and if we are saved, the Holy Spirit works in a believer's life to conform us to Jesus' image which is the goal of the Christian life. The result of this process is a changed life over time and a believer is transformed into a disciple and Jesus becomes Lord. Repentance is the response to the recognition that Jesus died for our sins, that we are sinners and need to have our sins forgiven and we need to change. No one can change themselves it is the work of the Spirit to change us into the people God wants us to become. Without Jesus we can do nothing. Works are the evidence of a genuine salvation. As James said, the devils believe and tremble. What makes the difference between a believing demon and a true believer is a changed life. The apostle John says, according to the meaning of the original Greek, that anyone who continues to sin has never seen Him or known Him I John 3:9. He is talking about a willful, deliberate continuous sin. All Christian will sin because of human nature, but a true Christian does not want to sin and willfully and continuously practice sin. I have to ask, if Jesus is not lord of our lives, then who is? If God the Father is not God of your life then according to the Bible that is idolatry and Jesus said, "I and My Father are one" John 10:30. I think any sincere believer would want to have Jesus Lord of his life. Considering that we all must stand in the judgment seat of Christ to receive for what we have done or not done in this life, I think it's a good idea to make Him Lord. We need His help. Again, Lordship is not the means of salvation, but it should be the result.

I would like to add that repentance as the result of salvation leads to a changed life. God does not want His people to continue in sin and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can lead holy lives. But again, that repentance is the result of salvation, not the means.

Thanks for the comment, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were not under the first Covenant. Hebrews 9:15 ...For Christ died to set *THEM* free from the penalty of the sins *THEY had committed UNDER THAT FIRST COVENANT.* We did not commit sins under that first Covenant. Also...Jesus said... He was *ONLY* sent to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. That is not us. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I was sent ONLY to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal."* Acts 5:31 He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, *TO GRANT REPENTANCE to ISRAEL, and FORGIVENESS of SINS.* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. Also... Paul said... *Jesus was sent TO REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW.* Galatians 4:4-5 4But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, *BORN UNDER THE LAW, 5So that He might REDEEM THOSE WHO WERE UNDER THE LAW...* We were never under the law. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would be Israel. Only Israel was under the law. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant at all. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. Now listen to my judgment against you. 2 Of all NATIONS on earth, *you are the ONLY ONE I HAVE CHOSEN. THAT'S WHY I will punish YOU because of YOUR sins.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord *WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news. Praise the Lord! What do you think? Let me know.

Hi Jodi Check this out...

You used the very verse which proves the requirement of Lordship. Calling Christ “Lord” is meaningless if we do not obey His commands (John 14:15, 21-24). The word used in Matthew 7:23 for iniquity (ἀνομίαν, anomian) clearly means lawlessness. Cross reference it to Matthew 13:41; 24:12; Romans 6:19; Hebrews 1:9; 1 John 3:4 (reading the entire chapter). In every instance Scripture is lamenting lawlessness. Lordship theology does not teach synergism; it simply teaches that our Love for what Christ has done will change our heart (Ezekiel 36:26). This is all a result of grace. Grace saves us not only from the result of sin, but the bondage of sin as well.

Ed Kisselback *Here are some true tests of faith and serious questions you should ask yourself, that can prove wether or not you have likely believed the gospel or not!* *Are you truly resting in the finished work of Christ?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away the sins of the world?* *Do you truly believe Jesus took away and purged your sins?* Or do you have a conscience of sins? *Have you ceased from working for your salvation?* Or do you go about trying to establish your own righteousness? *Do you believe Jesus when He said it is finished?* Or do you doubt Jesus and think you must do something? *Do you have full assurance of your salvation?* *Do you have full assurance of your salvation... especially when you do sin?* The answer to these questions can be very revealing and should serve as a wake-up call for many professing Christians! *It's a total lie and very deceptive to think that a changed life is evidence of salvation!* *Unbelievers have a changed life all the time, so that proves absolutely nothing!* Sin is bad, it's always bad and there's many bad consequences in this life for sin. But sinning does actually prove we qualify to be saved by Jesus because He didn't come for the righteous but for sinners only. *A true barometer that you are saved is that you are truly resting in the finished work of Christ and know you are saved and don't doubt it, especially when you do sin!* Believing is more than simply believing the facts of the gospel, it's also believing what Jesus actually accomplished by and through the gospel! Most that claim to be Christian *(like you)* believe the facts of the gospel, as far as the death, burial and resurrection but they don't believe what Jesus accomplished! They don't believe He actually took away the sins of the world, as John the Baptist said He would! *They do not believe He took away their sins and they do not rest in His finished work!* John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, *Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.* *Other barometers that you are likely saved that come along with resting in what Christ did are, ceasing from working for your salvation, having full assurance of your salvation, not having a conscience of sins and not going about trying to establish your own righteousness!* Most professing Christians *(like you)* have a false peace that they get from doing works and turning from sin but that cannot save and is very deceptive. But that false peace is usually short lived, at least if they are honest with themselves and are not deceiving themselves. *Ceasing our works and resting in Jesus' finished work go hand in hand!* Hebrews 4:9-11 *9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.* 10For *he that is entered into his rest,* he also hath *ceased from his own works,* as God did from his. 11Let us labour therefore to *enter into that rest,* lest any man fall after the same example of *unbelief.* *Believers should not have a conscience of sins, if they believe their sins have been dealt with and purged!* Hebrews 10 2For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers *ONCE PURGED should have had no more conscience of sins.* *The blood of bulls and goats could not purge sin! But Jesus did purge our sins!* Hebrews 1:3b ...Then *he had by himself purged our sins,* sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. *If you believe Jesus purged your sin then you should have no more conscience of sins!* *Believers do not go about trying to establish their own righteousness!* Romans 10:3 For they *being ignorant of God's righteousness,* and *going about to establish their own righteousness, HAVE NOT submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.* *Believers have FULL assurance of their salvation!* Hebrews 10:22a let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and *with the FULL ASSURANCE that faith brings,* having our hearts sprinkled *to cleanse us from a guilty conscience...* *These are true barometers that can show if you are likely saved or not!* *So test yourself and make sure you are even in the faith! That would be, faith that's really in Him and not in yourself!*

It's always about finances, physical healing, and other worldly matters. +Nigel Dalgleish Great comment! Roman Catholicism is the mother of all whores - Revelation 17:5. Calvinism spawned from Roman Catholicism as John Calvin's false doctrine was very heavily influenced by Augustine who is one of the main founding fathers of Roman Catholicism. Then we have Lordship Salvation which spawned from Calvinism as all the major Lordship Salvationists are also devout Calvinists. One whore breeds another whore.

wtom04 Respectfully, I fail to see there the 5 points of Calvinism necessitate Lordship salvation and why you would consider them to be false doctrine. I would sincerely be interested in your explanation, as I am interested in people's thoughtful and Scripture based points of view on this topic, on either side of the argument. Thanks and God bless.

The question is what salvation can be lost?

Hey, hope you are doing good. I just wanted to share some things I've been seeing in the word lately. This is amazing truth. Please let me know your thoughts about it... The writer of Hebrews said that Christ died *FOR THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT.* We were never under the first Covenant. Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, *"I WAS SENT ONLY TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."* It's all about ISRAEL... not us. The second Covenant was ONLY for the ones under the first Covenant, those under the law. That would only be Israel. Hebrews 8:10 For this is the *COVENANT* that I will make *WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL...* We were never under a Covenant. This is fantastic news for us. God's love, mercy and grace is much greater than we ever thought possible. I believe the Parable of the lost sheep is a picture of God's love for ALL people ever created. The house of Isreal represents the one lost sheep. They were the ONLY ONES that needed to be redeemed from the curse under the first Covenant. *That's why Jesus said He was ONLY sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.* God agreed to impute Israel's sin to THEM under that Old Covenant. Then He Himself paid the debt THEY incurred under that Covenant. Romans 5:13 For until the law sin was in the world: *BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW.* Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the *LORD WILL NOT IMPUTE SIN.* *We are blessed because we are not under the law and our sin is not imputed to us!* Never has been and never will be! Praise the Lord! *I truly believe that God's love, mercy and grace is much bigger than we ever thought possible!* *Nobody's sin today is being imputed to them!* That is amazing news! Praise the Lord! What do you think? Let me know.

@@mikemanners1069 I do believe that Jesus paid it all. I contribute nothing to my salvation. Please don't misrepresent me. If you would like to engage from the Scripture with what I posted, I would be happy to discuss that. Your response indicates to me that you either didn't read it or haven't given it much thought. You might want to do that before calling someone "Anti-Christ."

A staunch Lordship Salvationist once told me: "God has given us a NEW MIND so a Christian should not sin or ever backslide or they are not Saved to begin with". Yes, God promises us a new mind; but not a new flesh! The Apostle Paul states in Romans 7:24,25... "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." Proponents of Lordship Salvation are woefully blinded to the fact that every believer still has to contend with the carnal flesh. Oftentimes, as seen repeatedly from Genesis to Revelation, God's children falter. Does not Proverb 24:16 declare... "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief"? Christians do falter in their faith at times. At best the Christian life is a rollercoaster.
