I don't often lie in cEDH, but when people ask poor questions like "do you run ad naus" so they can hit me with their Tymna attackers, it deserves a poor answer.
I find players fish for too much free information, I say No for everything unless I've just cast it then its obviously a yes For example a sissay player was upset when I said "No" to running oppo agent with sol ring and swamp up and it was in my hand. In what world would I give that information out for free
The issue is people are trying to bring the etiquette of casual commander into CDH. You are playing for money, you have no expectations people to hold your hand. Sure lying might seem scummy but if there is a prize on😢 the line don't cry about it if it happens to you. I used to play gitrog CEDH and I would always fudge the truth when it came to politics. I've even done something similar to the event recently of saying you have no way to win with a spell and then find out you do. shit happens.
This if a fabulous video. I love the try something prospective and I wish more folks experimented with concepts and tried to see if it works for them rather than looking at other folks experience.
