Resonant guard is the new buddy barrier because you don’t have to use your unite anymore to get a shield you can just auto attack and use your moves to get a shield to yourself and your allies that’s sounds way better 😊

Also, the fact that its stats are so so good. It gives you as much hp as Buddy barrier (the most raw hp for an item) and more increased healing than leftovers (making the stat accessible on an actual item)

It's really good, but the shield that it gives compared to buddy is bad. In the first 8 minutes of the game and early game, Guard is better. In the last teamfight, unless your whole team has it, it's not as good anymore because the shield isn't enough to make you tank even just 1 unite move.

@@setiawan2791 Buddy barrier has an internal cooldown of 60s on blaziken, so realistically, it's not gonna do much for most of the game.

I think Weakpol is a must when playing with Blaziken. I usually tried Weight, Weak, ang Focus. But aeos cookie seems good tio

I did testing with results of guard and weakness. Guard was nice but in comparison to healing between the two guard only provided 4k more than my weakness and my weakness had a much better kill and win rate

Overheat has good range, abilities out range basic attacks on alot of mons, I can't basic ray from top but I can scald it with slowbro

Tried this right after the resonant guard release, but instead of attack weight, I went with weakness policy or bangle. This chicken is an absolute beast as a brawler

Well, Resonant Guard is now one of the best items I have ever seen tbh. Its actually either A or A+ tbh. Also, I bought Metagross because I love that supercomputer and I am expecting buffs anyway which would make him fun to play while also buying Goodra as well which feels way more fun than other defenders like Lapras and Umbreon while being fun like Blastoise and others.

Weight, Cookie, and Stone were my go to items on Blaze. The moment Guard came out I switched out Stone, never looked back.

No. Buddy Barrier has a 60s cooldown on Blaziken, which basically means you get 1 Buddy Barrier every 12 Unite Moves. Absolutely not worth it

I played with this build a lot but I think overall I prefer having muscle band and missed it multiple times when I had guard instead.

@@piercemat331 Both sound good but float stone's issue is that I feel like I'm brawling too much to get a ton of value out of it. The 3% basic attacks just helps on objectives and early game farm too much imo.

The reason is buddy already means you have babe basically no item early game, and for the rest of the game it means you have no item during some team fights. Focus band some team fights it won't be available since it's cool down is so high Guard makes you have a shield in early game, crazy good for being aggressive because you and your lane partner get a shield. You can at a lot of times get it to active twice or more times depending if the battle is longer. It takes 10 seconds to deactivate which seems like a long time but once you use it you'll realize most fighting isn't immediate charging, it's a bit of bush hunting, baiting, then running away getting a better position etc, it will activate many times for just one fight. Unless you get caught and immediately die of course

Resonant Guard is a good item for most pokemon with a consistant way of attacking, except if you go full damage builds, that is.

Recently, i use drain crown on Blaziken and the result was extremely good. He gains too much heal in his attacks, giving more sustain and resistance. For me, this item is the best choice If you want to give more damage and heal a lot with Blaziken, i recommend.

@@King_cole1990 To be honest, It took me a whole season to finally be able to max out an item with the season rewards. Plus, I think the game still offers 3 tickets to max out your held itesm. The emblems will be a bit of a pain but my tip is to get as many extra tank rewards you can as possible from any challenges you see. The Tinkaton one has 5 you can get via in-game currency. Try to be as stingy as you can with your aos coins as well. You’ll get there.
