Only tried it once and it was B grade for me. Not quite the spin and control I was looking for and the feel was just okay. Not bad but not for me. Agreed that it's longer lasting and better tension maintenance than Solinco. Sustainability shouldn't be the main a attraction for the customer...

What was your setup (racquet, string and tension) just wondering? And they aren't marketing sustainability as their priority when I'm looking through their website, just seems to be an added bonus for their bite, durability and spin that they show

@alwayscausingaracquet I put it on my Vcore Pro 100 @52#s. This string did not notch much after a few sets like some others or lose the relative tension like Solinco. Their sustainability is not durability. They're talking about environmental sustainability for the planet in their packaging and not string endurance.

@@gofish721 it does tend to notch, I think most shaped strings tend to notch at the edges more and plus with the painted gloss, it adds to the notching. Sorry you didn't like it, Id like to try out the 16g in a very low tension like 45 or lower maybe

@@gofish721 the endurance of restring zero is absolutely related to the slickness of the string. The string lasts longer because of less string on string friction. Imo, you made two mistakes. 1. Full bed of a shaped string. Why would you do that? Your crosses don't need to be shaped and it's only sawing into the mains and decreasing string life. You should use a rounded cross like Wasabi x or restring sync. 2. 52 lbs is high for a polyester. More tension increases notching. You should try 47 or lower.

Zero or wasabi?
@alwayscausingaracquet

Good question! Both are really similar, BUT if you want more durability, then go for Zero. Wasabi does well in a lot of hybrid set ups too. I've been enjoying it with a mix of Toroline Caviar, Wasabi X, and Enso Pro.

@@alwayscausingaracquetthey claim that their strings are sustainable however it’s only their packaging, straight up marketing

@@financer2325 I'm going through their website and the first thing I see markets how durable and spin friendly the string is. Don't think they are marketing it as sustainable as I see that the box is biodegradable and nothing else

@@alwayscausingaracquet they are literally marketing their string as an “Eco Friendly Poly” There are more than a few companies using recycled paper as packaging. Zero, as a string, does nothing for the environment, except for the packaging. As has been well reported, donating to "environmental" causes has its own problems. Being available in sets only, there is more wastage. In my opinion, it's a run of the mill co-poly IsoSpeed 2nd serve is just PET downcycling, so there's just an added cycle of use, and thus still ends up in the landfill. Velociti Catalyst is the only string claimed to be fully biodegradable in 3 to 5 years, but only in a landfill, whereas all other synthetic strings don't break down that easily, average from 20-50 years depending on who you ask. It’s also pretty ironic of you saying that this video was not a paid promotion while you literally put your sponsored discount code at the bottom
