Honestly i kind of want the copyright and gambling issue to come full force back at roblox and developers so they learn to not be so greedy, because roblox is DEFINETLY letting the gambling systems pass so they also get a lot of money

I think as well as getting money, many devs are too lazy to add in a system to allow for you to grind to obtain a certain ability in a certain way. For example if you were in a jojo game and you had to do a certain quest line to get a certain stand you want and they become more difficult if they are better stands or locked behind some sort of progression. So many games now are so lazy and unoriginal, not just the anime ones. Simulators used to be peak laziness, but I still thought they were fun sometimes, but now its just sitting there with an auto clicker and then fighting the next level of stand still boss while you try to click faster. It honestly sucks to see.

@TechyOP I've just gotta say that there isn't a single video you've made that I did not 100% enjoy. The content you present is super entertaining to hear, and combined with the gameplay in the background, the music, and the appealing font of the subtitles, your content is always super enjoyable. I think that over time, you're bound to gain a huge following because anyone who's even slightly mature and is into Roblox, or will reach that level of maturity within a couple years and is a Roblox kid right now, will definitely enjoy your content. The current audience you have is likely Roblox lovers who aged a little, and so this cycle of kids that love Roblox maturing and then encountering your videos will definitely leave them intrigued, adding to your audience. I know that many RU-vidrs after a while will take a long break from RU-vid because of new chapters in their lives, but I will say that I hope you never stop creating!

I think there's been a increase in games requiring a payment to even play the game. They seem to forget however, that when you place a price tag on a game, the expectations and criticism levels rises heavily. When it comes to gambling the only issue I had with your poll is the fact it was either, people loving it or hating it and wanting it gone. I think other options such as liking it, but wanting it to be more fair would have been a good edition since I think currently one of the biggest issues with the gacha we see on roblox is the fact that the rates and balance are an extreme mess and f2p unfriendly. I think there could be a place for gacha systems if there were more fair and weren't forcing players to spend esstinally to keep up. This is of course ignoring the issue with roblox being filled mainly with children gambling lol. Consider this comment just a small thought or devils advocateIi suppose.

Tech you forgot to mention that Roblox actively pushes these cashgrabby games to the front page no matter how criminal they are. Roblox doesn't care if the game infringes on copyright laws cause they know fans of stuff like skibbidi toilet and shonen jump will eat up their games, which equals profit. In the future I can imagine the governemnt and copyright laws both doing a tag team lawsuit against roblox, and I want it to happen cause if not, david wont stop anytime soon. Roblox even increased the price of ROBUX a month ago so we recieve less robux for more cost.

This is why I love The Strongest Battle Grounds, you dont need to spend money to have fun, just time. You can buy something to have slightly more fun (Private server plus, Early access) but its not needed, thats how most games should be

all my best friends play these stupid gambling games, and its not even fun anymore, they spend the entire day playing anime adventures and never play anything else, and when i talk about how they are getting addicted they just get agressive, it just shows how serious gambling addiction is, and the problem is that i know these friends ever since 2016.

Roblox devs get paid so well for making shi anime cashgrab games for children and gacha addicts, rather than actual unique games that are much harder and make less money, so its not that surprising that roblox devs are becoming very greedy

But just to add onto the AA part of the video, if you **really** wanted to make your units reach full potential, you should know that the attk, spa, and range stats are randomized from around -10% to +10%, and if you want to reroll them you would need to grind daily raids or pay $, same goes for curses but only affects two stats. Also you could get double traits, meaning there's a possibility of getting unique + some other trait, but god knows how low the chance for that is. Edit: Many people including myself might defend the games they play saying something like "0.5% for a unit is actually pretty generous compared to other games" just goes to show how shitty the current landscape of games is. I don't think Roblox would be able to address this issue without royally fucking up almost every popular game, but who knows? They did try to turn Roblox into a dating site.

Couldn’t have said it better myself, I used to play ZO samurai on roblox back in 2021 but it started to become quite stale for me. It was a battlegrounds game and the standard combat and kill effects were nice but it just became a site for gambling where people would spend thousands of dollars for weapon skins that don’t even help them in combat. Yes games shouldn’t be pay to win but they shouldn’t be pointless micro transactions either. The game was enticing so people spent money on it and every update was a new skin that most of the playerbase couldn’t even get and not the nerfing of weapons like the tanto or multiple glitches back in it’s time.

I understand why people would be upset about all of these monetization methods in these games but I dont think people understand or appreciate how much is costs to produce a game on roblox. Its a lot of hard work and a lot of paying multiple people with multiple different talents to put together. AND if you want your game to stay current with updates every few months you need to spend even MORE on top of that. Things like gatcha systems or 2x drop rate game passes are relatively harmless while also allowing the dev to actually make profit from the game. Not to mention the BS that is roblox taking upwards of 30% of ALL REVENUE from the devs. Its ridiculous and it forces people to have to have these things in their games just to stay operational and consistent. Players enjoying the game and playing it is not enough.

Grand piece online is pretty much held behind a paywall even now as you don’t start or even unlock a fruit bag for free so like alot of the game is locked behind a wall as you can’t have a single fruit unless you eat it

God, it feels rare to find roblox devs that aren't money hungry, whatever happened to small devs taking some time out of their lives to create a small passion project, most of them in a sense die to leave behind a hidden gem on roblox or stay long as a developer to become greedy and prioritize money over its community

Finished the video. I agree gambling is a huge problem on Roblox. But at the end of the day it’s up to choice. No developer is forcing anyone to buy anything. You’re supporting the developers while you get something you think is cool. Personally I have a 1000 robux limit on all roblox games because I think anything over that would be over spending. It’s already hard enough for developers to make a living. If they weren’t making money we wouldn’t have any quality games on Roblox today

speaking of the jujutsu infinite devs, everything went really well for them with titan warfare (another game they made) and was LITERALLY PEAK and had actual fun stuffs to play with. I remember the day that they annouced they were gonna focus on jujutsu infinite and stop updating titan warfare which gave majority of the fandom (esp on the discord server) lots of disappointment. Honestly Im also really DISAPPOINTED and SAD that they would literally require players to pay 30$ for a damn game. Honest opinion is they should have just sticked to titan warfare and not make another project thats in for testing.

a game called parkour reborn also used the same method as jji and they were aware of the TOS and only decided to stop using that method when jji was taken down

I feel like, the thing causing my gambling addiction to not get out of hand on Anime Adventures is legit Not joking My own laziness Whenever a update comes out I play it for a while maybe unlock some new characters But once I get the strongest character from that update I just Get so bored that I don’t bother playing it anymore Until the next update This happened withy the summer update I got Poseidon the best character for that update and then stopped grinding “But why didn’t you grind for Roger?” Why? Because Roger was Fucking 0.01% chance to get from the stars The sole reason I can’t have a gambling addiction is my lack of dedication to grind games Ima grind the games for the first few days and then after that I drop the game and play some PvP based games because I’ve got what I wanted. shindo life did that first trick a lot. weekly updates but it was them just adding a bloodline full of slightly tweaked ideas/straight up copied moves. every now and then u would get a gamemode u would never play or a mechanic that quickly gets forgetten about. another thing shindo did was the whole gambling thing. i kid u not, a few months ago they released a bloodline that is said to have only a 1/10000 chance of obtaining. I REPEAT, ONE OUT OF TEN THOUSAND CHACE. even ignoring that there are tons of bloodlines that are a 1/300 or 1/200 chance (the average is actually 1/100 for all of them, but for the ones u want its 1/200). ur gonna need at least like 15k+ spins if u ever dream of getting every bloodline in the game to try and experiment with moves and stuff. this gambling shit needs to stop. even if a game has its merits, and even if it isnt necessarily "pay to win", i think stuff like this will automatically make it a worse game.

These gambling systems could exist but games like anime adventures make it almost impossible to get what you want just by grinding. Roblox corp makes money off the way the site is currently, so there is no reason for them to change/ care unless they are forced by legal action. Gambling elements make up a huge part of there profits.

I have been playing anime adventures for a while now and i barely spent a single robuc on it, but i do feel like the monetization of the trait rerolls is bogus and i cant understand why people spend hundreds of reobux for like 10-20 of it when you can get more from quests and bp.

I hate when they have those in game money systems where one currency is super easy to get but doesnt buy you anything that useful, while theres another that holds all the value and is the only way to get anything good, but is super hard to obtain without microtransactions. Its oddly specific but something ive seen so many times.

The on,y good anime games on roblox are the battleground ones where every character is free or can be obtained free and easily

Anime Adventures gives me PTSD, I spent AGES to hopefully get a unique But failed to do so, However, My Friend got unique on his FIRST attempt. It's truly sad how games rely so much on emptying your wallet, and the amount of RNG-based shit.

As an anime adventures player the trait thing isnt even the most annoying part its the fact the games are expensive (like u said 1000 robux for like nothing is terrible) While astd doesnt have as bad as a expensive issue the problem in astd is that is so much harder the get those stardust crystals (i think thats what they are called) Atleast in anime adventures u can get atleast 30k gems from inf castle and codes(speaking of astd codes system is kinda annoying with the whole u need to be a certain level thing imo like u grind the game and then put in the code which will prob be expired TL:DR Astd is annoying to grind and anime adventures is too expensive

On the topic of bladeball, there is literally a better genji ball type game called deathball where you dont have to spend hundreds of robux on an ability. Yeah obviously you can spend robux for them but half the time you get money in game to buy them plus you start with an ability of your own as well. Even if you do have to roll for it, you usually do a boss for it that gives you special currency which you get 2x as fast as the normal currency and they make the pity for it really low so it can take up to like 15 minutes half the time to even get the ability. Just reminded me of that cuz bladeball is actually trash.

been playing roblox for over 10 years now and honestly don't even bother joining new games I stick to the older ones, they have hardly players but some of them are good for example devil beater, way too much games are p2w now pet sim is a huge example like 90% of the games releasing are simulators that are slow and quite hard to progress as a f2p and take quite a few hours which I don't mind I love to grind games but it's the fact a p2w player can get to a f2p players progress in like less than an hour no matter how hard you play as a f2p it's just not worth it the differences between the 2 player groups are way too big in gaps for example egg hatching as a f2p in most games it's one egg at a time but there are gamepasses which open 3 to 8 and those passes are normally up to 800 or more which that isn't a lot of money but for a single gamepass for a game that will most likely do a few updates slowly making the updates take longer till they update you saying they're making a brand new game basically exactly the same as the last and the gamepasses don't even cross over which makes you force to play the new game and rebuy the passes which is normally the same price as the last or more expensive whilst the previous game just never updates again meaning you wasted your money which is the main reason I don't like gachas or simulators, I mainly stick to the RPG's when the only transactions in the game are just cosmetics and don't affect the gameplay

This is kind of iffy, some people try to push the narrative that all devs are rich. That's only for the super successful ones most of them are struggling. Now for the gambling, while it's bad it's a common practice especially for gacha games, it's something that won't be removed from gaming for a while

another game that i dont see being brought up lately is aur. the game was free to play but took a little break to rerelease stuff with a price tag of 50 dollars

Let's be honest, the only enjoyable game with gambling system is shindo life, its like so balanced, they release codes with spins and u can have a lot of them, but u still have to spin for rare bloodlines and it may be boring and grindy but if tell seas will have the same balanced gambling system them probably even block fruits kids will like it

I do believe anime adventures is a great game, the game is easily one of the best graphics wise and well made, but it's literally the same state gpo is in, theres games like blox fruits which is inferior in every aspect than gpo (apart from being easier and more f2p friendly, and no trading addict) That has more players, also one thing to note, aut has more players than gpo nowadays which is scary to think that never in the history of these two games, aut has surpassed gpo in players, anime adventures is just that game that, you either rely on your luck to get unique or good traits, or summon, or you straight up feed them 100 dollars for 100 rerolls, which ends up in giving you nothing (the prices are stupidly large, even if they cut it in half it wouldnt be worth it) Seriously, 100 rrs for unique is not enough, and that is 100 WHOLE DOLLASR

Funny enough, Blade ball was a copy of an existing game called deflect where the game is exactly the same except blade ball has abilities and is more p2w, whilst the latter doesn't have any abilities and is simply about pressing F at the right time. smh

Honestly, as a guy who plays anime adventures for a GOOD while (almost 1700 hours) the main problem is both the traits and the EXCESSIVE GRIND, like, a real excessive grind, I never had much problems with traits on anime adventures, maybe one or two, but much smaller ones, it just that it really takes a long time for you to get good on the game, you have to grind A LOT to keep up with the game content. Forgot to add this initially, but I also played a ASTD, not too much, but just enough for me to actually keep up with the meta, grind, and have some actual fun on the game, something I rarely feel on AA nowadays.

Depends on what game we talking about. Ofc there are devs that really want to make a good game and devs who just want money from their players
