@@Someone_Unknown90Star wars is pretty universally beloved. It’s like as mainstream sci fi/fantasy as you can get. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like the films. I mean I’m a ‘nerd,’ so I’m an exception by your evaluation and definition, but all my friends of whatever genre of human you pigeonhole people into (by your definition, you would categorize them as my jock friends, raver friends, stoner friends, or hippie friends etc) love the films.
Not too on the spot, he’s a professional comedian haha, he’s practiced those and the whole bit was working towards using them, that’s what great comedians do. It feels all natural when it’s choreographed 😅

there actually are a few stories about "racism" against droids in the Star Wars universe. After the prequels, a lot of people let their hatred and trauma associated with the battle droids influence their opinions on all droids. No doubt their was some Imperial propaganda involved as well. Aside from the cantina, The Mandalorian is a great example of prejudice against droids

You should hear him do the entire scene from Return of the Jedi where Luke finds out the little green guy is Yoda. He does all 3 characters (Luke, Yoda and force ghost Obi Wan) PERFECTLY and gets every single line right from memory, spot on timing and everything. He sounds exactly like them all and it's so impressive. I think it was on his podcast, there's a clip of it in the shorts on his channel. Troy has serious fucking talent.
This guy's crowd work is excellent. I feel like he has jokes planned out the he wants to make and then baits the audience into initiating the setup rather than setting it up himself. Great work.
