Is the 2019 Mustang GT PP2 as close to a Shelby GT350 you can get?

Lol. Same feeling here. I don't like my Porsche anymore. Mustang beats it with the push of a button, the start button, and when the engine comes live it beats everything else. Looking forward to GT500 reviews!

That you're a fellow Floridian is a bonus. I'm a long-time Stang owner, haven't owned anything else since '88 and been through 8 or 9 of them since. Before I bought my '19 Bullitt, I seriously considered a PP2 Stang but after driving the Bullitt, I was sold. I'd owned an '08 Bullitt and loved it, such a special car. The PP2 car was nice but it was just a gussied up Stang. I enjoyed my '19 Bullitt but, sadly, it was short-owned. 4 months after I bought her, I was fired and even though I could afford it, I felt guilty so off she went. Believe it or not, I found myself another '08 Bullitt. I enjoy the car a lot but it's nowhere near the performance car the '21 was. Anyway, I was window shopping and a local put his '19 PP2 car up for sale, low mileage/good price and I figured maybe I'd give it a look so I came here to have you remind me about the car. I think it's just amazing how successful you've been since this video from a mere 4 years ago and that's a huge credit to you and your team and wanted to acknowledge it. Best to you always, Joe- keep up the great work.

How do you like it so far. I have an 18' PP1 automatic but i love the way the PP2 looks. I'm actually thinking about trading up to the PP2 and wasting a lot of money.

Were you able to get an extra set of factory PP2 rims from Ford or did you go aftermarket?

@@GR018 I went aftermarket. Shelby Wheels came out with a wheel that mimics the PP2 rim style. Got them from CJ Pony Parts. Shelby CS3 is the model#. They come in 20's vs. 19'. It will fool most of the people. BUT the spokes do not come out from the wheel as far as the factory version. I do like the look however. The 20's fill the wheel well better than the originals. I have 305's in the rear but 275's in the front. Plus the NITTO tires are more streetable and wear longer than the factory Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 3.

I purchased a 19 PP1 two weeks ago and I already ordered an MGW shifter and an MRT H pipe to do a resonator delete. It's gonna sound sick with the active exhaust. I can't wait! Eventually I may upgrade to the PP2 wheels. For now the shifter and exhaust will keep me happy.

Not at all! I would go 2019 now.

It depends on what you are doing with the car at that moment.

Let's think about this logically. If you take a 400 something odd horsepower Mustang and shift at redline through every gear, you're definitely going well over 100 mph. I, like Raiti in the past, drive a Focus ST hatchback and shift just around 3000rpm give or take for normal driving. This "magic number" as I call it is different for every car, but you get a feel for it rather quickly when driving.

@@MrAdrian13 it’s the coyote yes but only 460 hp. Bulliitt had 480. It uses the cobra manifold throttle body and CAI. So it’s slightly different

@@MatthewSmith-ly8lp you dont even need that intake manifold since you already have the gen 3. Just port it, change the intake to maybe Steeda, PMAS or JLT, and get it tuned. Boom, you'll make more power than the Bullit. Its so simple

As a PP2 owner I can say it is probably not advisable. I watched another video on the PP2 unveiling with the Lead Ford engineer. I can't think of his name. He said Magnaride allowed them to control the wheel movement to know where the wheel was at all time. This allowed them to put so much wide rubber on the the front.
