Is the 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited the GREATEST midsize SUV to BUY? 

Saw a white one yesterday never wanted a white SUV until yesterday and im a sedan guy

The fact this and the Telluride are actually being compared with the Q7, Aviator, XT6, XC90, GLE and X5 speaks VOLUMES

This is probably one of my favorite Vehicle by them.

I gotta say, that Limited trim is looking NICE! With all that black and silver everywhere, and with that close to $50K price, this is practically a Hyundai luxury car!

I'm Korean, therefore I'm proud of Hyundai Palisades... yet I drive Dodge Challenger :p

I've seen this SUV on the road at night those LED lights makes the car aggressive ... Joe can you turn on the lights so we see the car better. I know its a small detail .

Hyundai and Kia are really setting the SUV bar high. The Big Six may need to step their game up.

Hyundai/Kia/Genesis improve dramatically with each new model approaching(and surpassing in some makes) Japanese quality. American companies can’t compete on quality, value or price. The only “zonk” imo is resale value of the Korean brands. I’ve driven both top end models and I’d choose the Telluride SX over the Palisade Limited. I prefer the looks and slight difference in drivability of the Telluride over the Palisade. Both are excellent.

The Palisade and Telluride are both awesome vehicles that are making the other manufacturers take notice. Nice job Joe! 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

I drove a Palisade SEL a few weeks ago, drove really nice and didn't seem like a bigger vehicle! Strangely enough it did not have SiriusXM radio! I didn't really need a third row, but really liked it! Ended up buying a Santa Fe Limited 2.0T at a really good price! This is my third Santa Fe, traded in a 2018 Ford Edge with a lot less features.

Rear seat ventilation, auto folding 3rd row, 360 cam and stitched seats screams luxury. This was what I expected from Genesis SUV, which made me wonder how much more luxurious can Genesis be from this palisade limited. Yet GV80 still managed to live up to that task.

Joe hit it right on the head. Hyundai and Kia caught other manufacturers off guard with these new SUVs. The closest vehicle that is similar to this is the Explorer and it’s a nice vehicle, however Fords quality control is horrible compared to Hyundai and Kia. The explorer is also very expensive in its upper trim levels. You’re better off looking at the Lincoln equivalent and hope you can haggle the salesman down off the price six or seven grand which isn’t uncommon for American cars.

The interior my god=mind blown for a korean car. love it were kia and hyundai are going. The outside like wheels remind me of cadillac escalade and the shape of body like the nissan patrol. Zonk the exhaust felt like 90s agree with you joe.

Joe 2 things u didn’t mention that this has that no-one else has besides kia is the intercom system to the third row and the second row doors wont open on traffic side if theres a car coming when stopped .

This review was perfect man!!! The old guards of luxury aren't doing things as opulent as the palisade. The USB behind the seat, wireless charging, camera turn signal, ambient lighting with lots of color choices etc... I'm also loving the gv80 from genesis... It's a new day and the Koreans are starting us out properly

What's Not to Like, about this... Nothing beats, Black and Chrome, for starters. A little too much, fortified wall, on that grille, for a "mid"-sized, SUV. Rear Door is extra long, and the window trim, is spot on. Agree with the issues on the rear end stuff you mentioned. Under $50,000.00! Had me fooled! 😳 Interior is a home run, throughout, front to back! Another great review, and for the money, for what you get, looks like a good value! 🏁🏁

Hyundai and Kia are putting out better looking cars and SUVs but they need to bring up their reliability if they want to compete with Honda and Toyota. Just don't buy there turbocharged engines buy there naturally aspirated engines they last longer.

My family actually owns the Hyundai Palisade

We bought a Palisade Limited in January. It's gorgeous, we love it..,BUT...we have a wind noise problem. Hyundai corporate has tried two "fixes". Unfortunately, neither has worked. Normally, Hyundai would now send a field engineer to evaluate and recommend a different "fix". Because of Covid-19, they aren't sending people around the country, and we're way down in SWFL. They've suspended their replacement program, which would be our preference. They've offered to buy it back, and if we come to terms, we'll be stuck trying to figure out which 3-row with similar features for the price to buy next. Ugh.

Yes Hyundai and Kia are doing they're thing but for me i would take a limited Grand Cherokee. That is if reliability has improved.

What car uses a secret handshake to get in the third row ? And Joe can I recommend Little Debbie brand snacks ; I need to know how many zebra cakes , star crunches , Swiss cake rolls can fit in the various areas ..... ?

i really have hard time choosing other brands over hyundai/kia/genesis. seriously. i've been test driving cars for hobby and every one of their cars are competitive yet cost tad less. and now that their brand perception is getting better and better i just can't justify paying extra for other brands. veloster N is legit. i would've bought it if was 15 years younger. even Genesis is a compelling buy. new g80 looks better than its competition to me. gv80 too looks like a winner. and new g90 will be sick. having said all that i'm buying model 3 long range. I came every close to buying Telluride, but i decided to go EV all the way. and i'm a Tesla bull, so Tesla FTW!!!

I recently leased the exact model in the video. I must say, so am in love with it. The one zonk I can cosign is the drive selection dial. Compared to the reset of the vehicle it feels super cheap. Like having costume jewelry in the same place you'd keep the family jewels

Owned a 2007 Hyundai mini van, best vehicle ever owned bar none, I am waiting for the 2021 Telluride to come out but now not sure because of the GDI engine. With the GDI engine issue of valve carbon build up waiting for them to see if this has been addressed with a design change. I have no interest in having engine issues after 60-80 thousand miles when the warranty is done or near done.

Telluride or Palisade? Both are nice. Cant go wrong with either one

So far i loved my Limited Palisade, but today as there was Snow in NYC Area and i had to drive in the Snow in Morning, 1st thing, before i realize before getting in ,that Wipers Design is not good, i couldn't raise before Snow as they goes all way under the Hood, 2nd thing after Snow its Hard to clean the Snow under the Wipers at the Bottom Portion if you don't clean wipers won't work, i got annoying with this issue, 2nd issue i had was, i parked in Open Car garage in NYC & they had Key inside the Car, which was done from my work 2Blocks away, i started the Car from Mobile App, Now when i came to car after paying garage, the Car is ON & Locked which Keys inside(in Cup Holder), i'mean how Car can be locked while Keys are in? i have seen Car won't lock if Keys are in, i tried to Unlock from App but couldn't as car was ON and would not let me know unlock, so i had to wait till remote Start Duration(12Mnts) is over, then it turned off, i unlocked it then was able to get in. 1st time ever i got annoyed with my Palisade since i bought(more than Year).

Love my Limited. Don't love the wind noise in the cabin. It can get pretty bad sometimes but other than that it's a fantastic SUV

On the internet they said the high-end vehicle is $33,000 and I'm wondering why McGrath Auto in Iowa is trying to get way over $40,000 for that vehicle. If I'm going to spend that kind of money I'll go buy a Cadillac

I will get this when is 2 or 3 years old as a pre used , so it be worth to get it , ain't trying to spend 35 to 45 k on a car pluse interest it be like 50 or 60 k after paying it off , na I'm good .. I'll get a pre used one .. lol 😂 plus they devaluate to fast ..

While the New Subaru Ascent has a Elantra 2016 interior, the Palisade has this premium/luxury interior. Kia and Hyundai really came into the game.. They are winning by a mile.

I'm 6ft 3in and the front seat legroom is just not there. It has the same problem as the Ford Explorer, that is the left foot room is compromised by the left foot stop. This is based on the location of the wheel well.

Could you do the BMW X7 and the Cadillac XT6 for a 3 row comparison. If your able to find one the BMW Alpina B7. Really loving the reviews on your channel

Wow very nice SUV. Before you said the price I was guessing around 60K at least since its a loaded limited trim and SUVs are typically overpriced imo. However Hyundai / Kia is known for value. Its over 5K pounds though. That is super heavy. It should have a V8 with dual quads.
