Is the 2024 Nissan GT-R NISMO a supercar WORTH the PRICE? 

There are many things I can criticize about the GT-R but not the design. It looks so freaking good.

While the R35 GTR still has great performance for a platform from 2007,its held back by the 200k plus price point for the Nismo and the 115k plus for the base model. Its competition in the price point has caught up to it and has modernized, and if you want a R35 you have 15+ years of models to choose from for cheaper.

I'm a Z-Car kinda guy, but this wild beast is special. When it pulls up, you definitely know it means business. Sadly the price point is ridiculous.

I know what many people saying about the price point but I think it still is worth compare to the previous models how this is evolved to be better Nismo 🎉 so unless you aren’t Gojira fan you should go for European or the American exotic 🎉I would love to own this beast 🎉thank you so much for the video🎉

I agree. Killer car. Looks, engineering. Outstanding. But price wise, its priced itself out of most pocketbooks. That being said, if you are able to afford one of these beauties, they do retain their resale value quite well.

I’m getting hooked on Joe’s reviews. He knows what he’s talking about and does it with a passion unlike a lot of other reviewers out there. He’s no amateur for sure. He needs his own segment on tv or something.

Another great video! Best review channel by far. No matter what people say about the price , every decent car these days is priced at 50 k plus. Any exotic , foreign, and top domestic are all start at 100 k without specs and taxes. So I can see this being so legendary to gear heads and a racing treasure I understand the price tag. 2024 it’s out of hand unfortunately. Oh. And most of all. Love the new GTR NISMO.

The GT-R became the legend it is because it was affordable and meant to compete with the Supra, Evo, Sti, etc but now they are marketing the R35 as some $120k - $250k exotic car thats a out of reach for most people.

The new Nismo is such a looker. I thought the 2020 Nismo already looked good enough but damn the 2023 is a beauty

I love how they kept the proper handbrake and not that electronic push and pull one. It just feels much more reliable and you cant just accidentally press on it

You know what’s crazy? This car design hasn’t changed much in 15 years and it still looks great! The only thing that has changed mainly is the cost lol…with that said, If I had 200k in cash I’d buy it asap.

Man for $220,000+ you have some insane options G80 M3 (fully spec'd cost $160,000) M5, E63s, C63s, AMG GTR, 911 Turbo and even Bentley to name a few. You can buy an M3 tune it and push 750HP and it still wouldn't cost you more than $220,000. No flat bottom wheel, same old display like common. Wicked car but the price and design that has been the same for the past 14 years I'd go with a M3 or M5.

I love old school as well, from the speed dial to volume and aircon control.

Never underestimate the best that the Japanese can build - if I could only have two cars in my garage it would be a Nismo GT-R and a Land Cruiser. BTW: that's for sure the sexiest rear end you will ever see 🔥🔥

How’s the head room for a person your size?

The power needs to be bumped up to 700. And an extra 100 pounds of torque then I could justify the price. I can get the Z06 and still have 60 thousand dollars left over and the Z06 is a better car.

I've been doing some research into buying a R33 GTR as sort of a celebration of both entering my 40s and spending half of my life working with the same company (22 years) and finally being able to buy something I don't need but just want. Over the past year I've been reconsidering the R33 Skyline and going full on to a R35 GTR. The new one is amazing but I'm open to something used, say at least a 2015. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

The only difference is a tiny bit more aero and dealers are marking these up to $300k! 2015 GTR Nismo only worth $140k! 😂😅 Might as well get an NSX Type S that’ll hold its value better than the GTR.

I'm not sure if you saw the rearview on this car during the interviews they spoke about. But they were able to make the car quieter and lighter. I can't explain what it is but it was genius.

The GT-R is a sexy car and its performance is amazing. That being said, not it, nor just about any other car on the market is worth their current market price right now. What made the GT-R sought after is it had a "relatively" fair asking price per performance, but that's just not the case today. I say the same for such Euro cars like the M series, and some AMG and RS models. Hell, spec'd out M3's are now in the 6 figure range.

Still looking good still. Just need to drop the price because of its competition now. All so hopefully they added LED lighting to the interior and the license plate placement to complete the look with modern lighting.

For 200k+, that's pretty deep in exotic supercar territory. I'd be comparing it to high end porsche options, Lamborghinis, aston martins, the list goes on. There is tough competition in that price range, it would be a tough sell even though it seems like a worthy vehicle. Drop the price a little and it could be a sweet spot or modify a few things.

I think Nissan should go back and improve on (or just tweak) the R34 body for the next generation but make it like a $60000 tuner with a twin turbo straight six putting out around 375 hp and 400 trq. Something ppl will love to mod AND that doesn't cost as much as a house 😅.

A lot of ladies and gentlemen will brag about its track times and speed, but most of them will be driven on normal streets with occasional track times. So 200k for this car is a hard to swallow pill unless you are a die hard fan of Nismo. I think the competition has caught up to it. You can buy a used one and mod it without 200kbbut then again, Nissan as a company is struggling all together. I hope for the best for Nissan but man that interrior needs an upgrade.

What a great car. It's rare to see around my area but it never fails to spin my head around. I love it that Nissan steps into a segment and uses that Japanese pride in manufacturing and design to make something very special, timeless and desirable. This is like the Grand Seiko of sports cars.

This is what owner of Nissan wanted, GTR was already perfection, there was no need to mess with perfection just to make something. Every GTR series was amazing, and I am so happy they left one car alone and just let it shine. A super killing, spine breaking, tea stirring, nuclear lizard monster. I have a 2012 nismo and it's just as glorious as before.

Just like how the nissan frontier was before its redesign, the GTR needs a new make over as well. It may be new but the design says no. If you already own one why bother getting another one looking the exact same? "Oh performance blah blah" yeah performance changed but why not the design of how the performance has changed as well?
