Got mine this week. Wear a large no problem. It's cold here in Toronto and it keeps me warm. When it gets a bit colder a sweater underneath will do the job. Just bought one for my wife. I find it too warm to wear indoors, but great for everyday outdoor useage.

The tactical thing is a little much, but this is not a $25 hoodie. It is made really well and is 100% polyester. Most fleece is a cotton poly blend and cotton is not what you want to be wearing if it gets wet. Polyester still insulates wet and dries faster. This would make a nice jacket for shoulder season or as a mid layer underneath a shell.

I generally loathe "The Hoodie" but I must say I like the looks of this one. I'm originally from Michigan, and have spent the majority of my Winters back on the east coast, but I find that I rarely wear a Winter attire here in North Central Texas so something lightweight, yet warm & resistant to these always-on Texas winds, would be greatly appreciated while outdoors from November to mid-March. The problem I'm having is, "What the heck is a tactical hoodie? Seriously, when I think "tactical" I'm carrying my IWI Carmel, IWI X95, Zastava ZPAP M70, Benelli M4, Beretta 1301, or one of my tactical handguns. Not exactly how "tactical" these are, but it looks like practical attired for when me and the misses are hiking or working outdoors. I'll give this one some more thought... Back to boots...love the Helm and Nisola. They're excellent office/casual boots, but there's not outdoor/work boots. I picked-up a couple pairs of Thursday Boots, which are more of a casual/light work boot(excellent value for $200 boots) and I'm waiting on my first pair of Grant Stone Field Boots to arrive. Yeah, I didn't want to spend this kind of $$$ on boots, but you gotta spent if you want BeastMade quality. Enjoyed.

thank you, Jim! Yeah the term "tactical" is a strange term with products sometimes. It seems to have a somewhat military look, but I doubt any military would actually use this. But it is a great hoodie, all things considered!

Don’t fall for all that Baerskin hype Jimr - like I did! My 3.0 is not wind-resistant enough for Scotland, certainly less so than my old North Face & Berghaus fleeces. And that whole mass of thick, fluffy, ‘sticky’ fleece just isn’t remotely practical for working outdoors. It’s useless for chainsawing/firewood or for anything dusty and/or dirty - and so it’s useless in the workshop or garage … or even in the kitchen! The only thing good about it is that, yes, it’s comfy if you can cope with its ludicrous bulk - but I sure can’t! The reviewer who got the Baerskin right was the guy who said he’d bought two, one to wear around the house by day in winter and a second to wear in his bed at night! For me, my 3.0 has turned out one of life’s little ‘disasters’. It’s made me feel like a TOTAL TWAT for falling for the TSUNAMI of phoney Baerskin advertising-hype: grrrrrrr …

I've ordered the 3.0 in the women's. I wasn't impressed. Other than some extra pockets, it's no better than any other fleece jacket. My toggels do not work and I'm constantly having to re tighten them. The hard tag on the wrist is uncomfortable. I don't understand why the wrist opening has to be so wide and bulky. It is not any wind or water resistant than any other product on the market. The hood is too large and it keeps blocking my view. It's not something i wouod recommend.

I feel ripped-off by my new 3.0. It’s a lot less wind-resistant and a WHOLE LOT LESS WATERPROOF than my faithful old North Face & Berghaus fleeces. This means that (in Europe) I almost always need an outer layer by which time the whole thing gets ludicrously and IMPRACTICALLY bulky. And it’s so bulky anyway that my excellent old North Face outer-layer won’t fit on top: so what am I supposed to do, buy a new one?! F-off Baerskin! All-in-all I increasingly feel not just like a twat but like a total twat for having fallen for the Baerskin hype, 60%, or-do-I-mean-67%?, off … and all else. Yes, a TOTAL & ABSOLUTE TWAT.

Nice review. At the 3:21 point, the back zippers look uneven. The one on the right looks lower at the top. That's concerning, considering this is supposed to be such a high quality item. This is not the case with the medium, gray one. I was thinking of ordering one in green, but I can see that the green is not a dark green, therefore I won't be ordering it. The pockets aren't something I need. I've loved my Champion fleece hoodie for years. I'd understood this one was warmer, which would be good in the cold snap we're having. One thing I do like is the design of the hood & neck portion -- that might sway my decision to order one of these.

My Experience is that this company fails to uphold the quality of their product. The zipper is utterly subpar! Issues arose within the first month of use, and in hindsight, I should have taken advantage of their six-month warranty at that time. My wife bought it just two months before Christmas, So it wasn't used for two months and by the third month of use, the zipper became completely unusable! I strongly advise against purchasing anything from this company because their lack of accountability means they won't rectify any issues. A zipper should definitely last longer than three months, and a reputable company with a customer-centric approach would swiftly replace it as a gesture of goodwill. It's disappointing that such a seemingly simple item, made of cloth and employing old technology, can't be crafted to last. I have hoodies that cost a fraction of the price and have lasted over five years without a hitch.

WORST GARMENT PURCHASE I'VE EVER MADE. I bought the hoodie in 3X and the body fits fine. But the arms are made for some pencil man, they are stretched tight from my wrists to my shoulders so I can't wear it over a long sleeve shirt. And the hood is apparently made for a 50X hoodie as it hangs all the way over my head down to my chin. No adjustment on the back of the hoodie to adjust how far over your head it goes and mine seriously completely comes down to the bottom of my chin, rendering the hoodie unwearable for me. I get NO RESPONSE from their customer service. And from what I've heard from others, returning it is impossible as you will pay more to ship it back to China than you paid for the hoodie and then they still might not refund your money.

Not at all... the stitching is absolutely terrible and falling apart after 2 washes and 5 months of use... waste of money Edit: yes the design is great but the build quality has much to be worked on... not sure why the stitching is so bad... maybe they aren't to worried about it coming apart before a year's worth of use is up... it was awesome brand new but after some use its just crap...also the velcro for the wrist adjustments stops working when the velcro securing patches fall off

This video is basically a paid advertisement. Not real testing. Everything that was paid for was amazing and GREAT. Lame lame lame “review” that sucks up to the vendor.

Not a paid advertisement at all. If it was, I would say that in the video. You realize, that people have opinions, right? And that those opinions are positive sometimes? And that people express those positive opinions? If it was paid, they really got shafted on a video a year late.
