Is the Bar too High? - Expectations for Adult Cellists 

This is a different video from what I normally put out on RU-vid, but I know there are a lot of adult cello students out there who might benefit from this discussion. It is from a recorded Zoom that I did on Cello Discovery earlier this summer and it's about setting the right expectations for what you hope to achieve. You should download the document below before watching so you can be ready when I talk about it.
If you are feeling discouraged on your cello journey - feeling like you just can't accomplish what you want to do, perhaps you've set the bar too high. I'll talk about what this means, and how to appropriately bring the bar back where it belongs.
