Is The Corvette C5 Z06 Worth Buying?

I know what I said about the owners people are going to come after me for but it is all true. Corvettes are great cars but they are not ultra rare cars that no one has. They are however super fun fantastic drivers cars that need to be taken out more.

After owning a 2004 Z06/Z16 for 7 years, I think they are one of the best bang-for-buck cars ever. I never got the column lock problem. I sold mine for a 2009 Z06, which is a fantastic car, but I still miss my C5 Z16.

The cars probably had the recall done like my car the recall starts to fail which is has been doing in mine.

Hopefully I had a few people but I have to put the lmc5 in it to fix the steering column lock. Otherwise it may have been sold

Great video. Just one little thing. 2001 Z06s were rated at 385 horsepower. Not 395.

FM engine helps but the rear mounted transaxle makes a big difference too. You have to pay lot of money for a GTD if you want that setup with a Mustang ;)

Transaxle definitely helps. But the gtd is a completely different story. Mustang weren’t made for that set up can’t really compare them that way.

@@NavsGarage My point is it's one of the biggest differentiating features that Ford highlights on the Mumtimatic built Mustang GTD. Or you can get a $20k Corvette that is also a V8 transaxle, definitely the cheapest transaxle car that has modern performance. @@Rockit181 I mean I understand what you mean but the GTD is a small production road race car. Corvette is defiantly a great car for the price.
