I’m a 60 year old biker. I’ve been riding for 51 years. I swapped to sport bikes a while ago, I have had the time of my life on them. Watching your videos on the ZH2 has convinced me thats what I want. Picking mine up Saturday. Thanks for the reviews, great job.

That’s your opinion but I had an hour demo on this bike and it’s ok , it’s not scary fast at all , it’s comfortable it’s very easy to ride. The build quality is not that great, the electronics are ok nothing special , it’s heavy but ok once you pull away, it’s great at low speeds , I had the Triumph Speed triple 1200rs and it rides better than the Zh2 , the power delivery of the Zh2 is definitely savage and instant but that doesn’t mean it’s better, I prefer the smoother acceleration of the Triumph . Just my opinion but the Zh2…great bike but not the best naked bike out there 👍🏾

If you ever get bored.....Flash, Pipe, filter....thank me later. I'm 230 hp at the wheel. I've been riding since 1992 and I've rode about every superbike that's ever come out and nothing ever made me smile everytime like my modded Z H2.

Be honest ( I have the S1000Xr.BMW) when you get off the Zh2 and get back on your Bmw do you say to yourself “ ahhh that’s better “? 😂be honest! My point is this, I’ve owned the Triumph speed triple 1200 RS , S1000R, F900r, K1600, R1250R and a G310 and honest to god whenever I go and try out a new bike other than BMW I do enjoy the experience but I always come away thinking yeah that was fun but overall the BMWs are just better hard to explain if it’s the build quality the fit and finish I’m not sure why but they’re just better overall. 👍🏾

I tried this bike ( and the SX) yesterday and you’re right it’s a great bike and it’s actually so easy to ride , I’ll be honest I came away thinking these two thoughts 1 It’s a heavy bike and 2 where can you actually enjoy the bike? Other than a track it’s a bit pointless. I will say this though the riding position and comfort is amazing it’s so friendly to ride so it’s a 7/10 from me 👍🏾

I used to own a z1000 2015 it was a beast. I bought it new put 30,000 miles on it. Wheelie machine loads of torque. I traded for an aprilia tuono 1100 which feels more top end and handles better in the track but part of my heart misses the z1000 Hooning. I rode a z800 and it was a TURD compared to the z1000. Soft suspension soft clutch no balls. I’m driving to pick up a Zh2 right now actually and very excited to compare to the z1000 I owned and compare to the aprilia

I think you got your specs slightly wrong. Stock bike produces around 180 HP at the rear wheel and about 120Nm or torque. Get your ECU flashed, replace that ridiculous exhaust muffler with a slip on and put in a decent air filter and you will easily lift the HP to around 235HP at the wheel with a shit load more torque. I had my ECU file done by BHP UK. Nothing stupid. Stops the power dropping off at the top of the rev range. Bike is now a rocket ship!

All Japanese bikes comes out of factory neutered - because they all have to meet (even though they don't need to) Japanese air quality standard - Automotive NOx and PM Law set out by Ministry of the Environment (MOE), and Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT). If you flash your ECU and change the exhaust CAL (but do know that this will void warranty and probably break the emission law in your local region), the you get about 20~30% more power depending on your model.

Great motorcycle its was a hard decision for me beteween the ZH2 and the Triumph Rocket 3 GT coming off a KAWASAKI GTR 1400 for the last four years i wanted to try a kind a motorcycle i never had before a muscle bike slash cruiser so i went for the new Rocket but the ZH2 is really a great motorcycle enjoy it my friend.

SEE ! Right there that’s my point, the Zh2 is fast but you just know in your heart that you just can’t use it’s power and enjoy it, The rocket with 250Nm of torque will be more useable and more fun , I bet you love the Rocket and how comfortable is it ? It’s like a Rolls Royce 😂

Hello from Worcester and have an all black version for about a year, and yes fuel is the only downer otherwise blown away like you, added an extra padded seat as agree with your comments the standard is fine and wide but thin and the after market £150 with 2 more CM thickness much better, also added a small screen make a big difference at higher speeds, will keep mine for many years to come and also had the recall did not notice anything before or after..I would not modify as more than fast enough and scary as is..

Yes i own the SE version and it is a good bike. Great for the road. When people keep keep talking about how its not as good as the other nakeds on track the reality is how many people are taking £20k bikes on track, not many compared to the number of people that ride these bikes on the road. So the reality is its no slower than any other naked bike. As for fuel, this was my concern before i brought the bike but you need to consider how early the warning light comes on.I still had 5 litres left out of a 19 litre tank. I have done 165 miles on 15 litres of fuel on this bike and my Suzuki GSXS 750 did 200 miles. Bearing in mind most of my Z miles were local with 50% town riding i think the range result could.of been better if i had done the Wales run like I did on the Suzuki. For the sake of 35 miles in every 200 miles, the Z H2 is worth that extra cost. You don't buy a Lamborghini for Nissan leaf fuel economy 😀
@unlimitedcosmicspeed
@unlimitedcosmicspeed Год назад
Hey guys I am running my Z H2 in, about 550 miles into it and I love the bike but it goes through fuel fast. Do you guys know if there is an issue with the sensor in the tank? It seems inconsistent. The fuel segments on the gauge disappear pretty fast. At the moment its says I am getting 28.2 mpg. Its strange that when the gauge is on half tank or lower it always seems to be 1.5 gallons to fill/top up? Sometimes when two segments are down and I top up its still 1.5 gallons to fill, wtf? lol. Perhaps its a quirk with the sensor or where it is placed in the tank? I have known of some bikes in the past having this type of issue.
@rocksnrolls8664
@rocksnrolls8664 Год назад
@@unlimitedcosmicspeed Hi, i have only done about 320 miles on mine. Yes the fuel warning light does come on early which i believe is a Kawasaki issue and not a Z H2 issue according to the dealer i brought the bike from. I am still running it in so not taken it past 5k revs too often but i got 165 miles out of 15 litres. I think the warning light had come on at this point which is early seeing it is a 19l tank (apparently). For a comparison i have done 200 miles on 15 litres on my GSXS-750 on a run over to Wales so to be down 35 miles considering the performance of the Z H2 is not too bad. As my 165 miles was predominantly local roads /town riding i would like to think the same run around wales would get another 10-15 miles out of the tank or.more id running it dry.. Will be taking it on a long run out this weekend so will see what it can do. I was concerned about the fuel comments from people online before buying the bike but when i compare it to my GSXS its not that bad considering the performance you get. Granted i am not thraping it everywhere as i am running it in but neither was I on the GSXS. So all in all like yourself i am just getting a measure of how far i can push the bike on the red warning light before panic sets in and I'm begging for a petrol station!
@unlimitedcosmicspeed
@unlimitedcosmicspeed Год назад
@@rocksnrolls8664 Hahaha, thanks for the feedback. From what I have learnt that the Z H2's fuel is pretty normal or even better compared to other bikes in the same category. As I am wearing in the bike I will keep experimenting and getting a better feel for the fueling but apart from that, I am loving the bike.

I had a chance to buy one of these bikes but wasn't comfortable for me for starters, decided on the 14, glad I did. In a standing start drag race, stock for stock, the linear power band of the 14 will beat the h2, while it's reaching for the sky the14 is going down the road. The 14 is not wheelie prone, remember what it was design for. The H2 is a "giggle bike", like the V-Max(i had one). That's not to say it's a bad bike, it's a good motorcycle but for me, to narrow focused. Good video though.
@michide72
@michide72 Год назад
The Vmax was a dangerous bike when using vboost. Otherwise it was quite ordinary, too heavy, bad suspension and no comparison to the z h2 which I am riding in the third season.
