I love the Runway Room foundation, it transformed your face as you were applying it. Made it appear young & glowing. Except the center of the forehead is a bit much, like a headlight. A bit of powder would tone the shine down and then I think it would be beautiful.

Hi Melissa the makeup looks good on you but then most things do as you are a really beautiful woman. I think the shadow stick worked well- they do have excellent eyeliners that stay in my tightline really well so maybe see if there is a similar shade in those for more longevity. I love a glowy/dewy look on my extremely dry skin but haven’t ever found a foundation to give me that look for more than a couple of hours (despite layers of skincare, spf and hydrating primer). The Nars was quite drying on me when I tried a sample so it was never a favourite, but I hate when they change the formula without telling anyone (this has happened to me with numerous products and has caused major irritation on my rosacea and eczema prone skin). The only thing I have ever found that gives me that kind of glow is the ilia skin tint in the dropper bottle- feels a bit oily going on but really makes me look glowy all day and lasts well on my very dry skin. I don’t think you would like it as it’s really only for dry skin IMO. Maybe try a very light dusting in the t zone with the hourglass ambient powder as it won’t take away the shine completely but just dim it a little (it will also help with longevity). The other option is a little setting spray. Best wishes x

I no longer use foundation. I have better luck with tinted sunscreen, concealer for age spots, and powder foundation. I use the Kroger Shimmer Tinted Sunscreen, it’s glowy and gives a youthful look. It’s a dupe for the Supergoop Glowscreen. Thanks for sharing!

I think the foundation was too dark, so I agree with you on that. As for the liner, I think VB looked a bit more sharp compared to Sephora one.

I would like to share with you that I decided to use ZO blender at night with my prescription tretinoin and any leftover, I rub onto my hands and wrist. I’m surprised to notify skin is slightly lighter after suit for over a week. This combination really works!

I haven’t seen anything either. Now NARS didn’t tell me this directly. I heard it secondhand. And these are people that called customer service directly and were told that it had changed. I don’t think it’s been talked about because there’s so many foundations out there and so many new foundations out there that it could be people have moved on from the Nars light reflecting and are trying so many other foundations. They don’t realize this one could be different now. I sometimes wish things would just stay the same you know?

Try the Maybelline Super Stay Skin tint. It gives me a light to medium coverage. It makes my skin so radiant, but it doesn’t look unnatural. I just love it. I’ve gone through several bottles of it!

Hi Melissa You will have to tell us what rollers you put in the socks. You have so many ways you fix and curl your hair and it ALWAYS looks great. You hair and that blue top look gorgeous. I liked the dupe make up , but agree a lot of glow. When I was young I had cystic acne. My scarring is not too bad because of Retinal and Retin A…switch it up. But, I can not wear face powder or the cystic acne can come back at age sixty eight. I love when you have a get ready with me. Give the Hauslabs foundation another try. This and CT Beautiful Skin are my absolute top 2 foundations. They are wonderful on my 71 year old face. I could never find a good shade from Nars.

I just bought the Korean cushion foundation recommended by Tati and I’ve never done cushion but it’s unbelievably beautiful…it’s the red one. I have 2 VB eyeliners but soo pricey! I’ll try Sephora. I see that brand of make up is sold in a particular line of chemist shops here in Australia and the face base is AUD42. I was paying AUD72 for the Nars one so that's a positive. It does look glowy but that can always be toned down. IN short I'm going to try your recommendation and thanks ever so for doing the hard work for us. X❤x

Melissa that was a wonderful video and that's Sephora one really was beautiful I swear I'm a lot older than you but you are so very pretty that everything looks gorgeous on you 💯 But I swear I'm going to go back and try burgundy again I used to love it when I was younger My son found a Donna Karen burgundy eye pencil and I love it but I get a little blurred vision with it .but I just found on Amazon for $12 and Estee Lauder burgundy if you want to get one real quick and try it I'm going to try it I ordered it says there's only four left but it look like a pretty color burgundy but your video was just beautiful as usual ❤️ I think I'm going to try some burgundy again though I'm sure it won't look as good on me as it does on you but you might want to get that Estee Lauder pencil it's marked down to $12 it says only four left Thank you for this wonderful video❤❤

Rose, you have amazingly beautiful eyes. I love your eyecolor and I really think the burgundy would be beautiful on you. Now I haven’t had a bit of problem with the Sephora one. I would re-visit the Nars foundation in a few months as they could have had a bad batch and later on be just like it was before. As I said, try the Lancôme Teint Idole Care and Glow. See what you think. I didn’t have to set it except my nose. I still love the Mistine I mentioned that’s $7 but I know you want something that’s more mainstream. Xoxo 😘

Hi Melissa, Your make up held up really well. It looks pretty on you. It's a shame Nars changed their formula. I have been using the Clinique Even Better Serum Foundation. It doesn't glow. The finish is stated as natural. It seems to be working well for me. The Victoria Beckham and Sephora eyeliners both did great. The lipsticks you tried on both looked beautiful on you. Melissa I think when you were lifting your upper eyelids you were checking to see how the eyeliner lasted but you didn't do any tight lining at least you didn't show it in the video when you were applying the eyeliner. You did however do your waterline.

That color eyeliner by VB contains carmine which is made from crushed insects. Beware if you are allergic. My eyes got swollen, red and I had a milky discharge after using it. It is such a beautiful color though!

Yes I had heard that some people can have problems. I am ok using them. Can you use the Sephora brand?
