First of all i think Pat was right on in his comments about Jimmy. Most won't report on it cuz they love drama, clicks, views. But he said "If you're not on the court playing in those games you should keep your mouth shut about them." I strongly agree. At least in public. Jimmy can walk into the locker room and swing those big balls. Idk how his teammates feel but idk Jimmy. But for them to hear him say that in the open public? Essentially "If not for ME this team sucks." As Pat said. If not in the game keep your mouth shut. Otherwise you're disrespecting your teammates. They need YOU? Where are you? Pat has been around long enough to know the game and its players. I think Jimmy respects him, plays for him and his teammates. Will Jimmy stay or go? I think Pat knows at this point it don't matter. Should they keep Jimmy or trade him? I think Riley know the ball is in his court. Butler wants a 56.5m a year extension. Pat has said the team don't need to move on that over this summer. I think Rileys message is clear in his public comments. "Stay on the court. If you ain't on it you're not getting paid." And thats fair enough imo. You're not getting paid for "IF I were in the game." Also SteveO is funny af. He said "I do have a respect level for Jimmy. I just don't like the motherpucker."😅

Good commentary, agree , Jimmy is good, but he does think he's better than he actually is....at this point in his career, Jimmy is a good to great robin to a batman. You might have to trade him to find that "batman" player that can be developed, build a team around and eventually challenge for a chip......rebuild mode Miami, this team as constructed now, cannot make it to the ECF ...
