I tried a £20,000 karting simulator by a company called KartSim - is it really worth it!? Discord: bit.ly/3oXEONy Twitter: bit.ly/3rYE6RW 00:00 Intro 00:20 What Makes It Special? 03:38 First Try 05:19 Upgrading The Kart 07:13 Conclusion
I went to PFI with KartSim a few weeks ago, they are genuinely lovely people! Looks epic mate, glad you had a fantastic time! comparison against real karts would be so cool too!
I was lucky enough to have a few sessions when I started karting and the coaching there is incredible, however that was before direct drive technology was available so it felt a bit clunky. Overall a great sim to learn on, especially for learning tracks
I just wish there software wasn’t so expensive (£500) - I appreciate a lot of time and effort goes into it, but so did KartKraft and Kart Racing Pro and they’re still able to be sold at £30? I also tried KartSim’s DLC for rF2 and didn’t feel great at all. Looks like there own software/build is much better but ideally should be a demo with 1-tracks to test before parting with £500
This might be fun if you have spare cash and kart race a lot. If you think about karting (don't know for sure) but I think you can buy and race a few laps for the same amount of money. I would go for the real thing before even considering this. Maybe fun for the Kart club to practice, but for me, if I'm ever buying an expencive sim like this. It is going to be one that races cars that I would never drive. But this is personal ofcourse.
£20,000 Karting Simulator with springs? Maybe it's beter to buy real kart beast for 7k Euro and go to real track? What's wrong with you people....Noone want your fake business on simulators
