There were certainly some awesome battles back in the day between the TZ250/TZ350 and the KR250/KR350. And Kork Ballington was pretty handy on the KR500 too!
@@LeeTillbury I think you know what I mean. But in the capable hands of Kork Ballington and Anton Mang, the KRs virtually dominated GP250 and GP350 racing from 1978 to 1982. In the two classes Kawasaki riders took eight world championships, and in GP250 Kawasaki was the manufacturers’ champion four years in a row. Anton Mang was the last GP250 champion in 1981. And as you probably know Kawasaki won no championship in GP500. That are the facts but they certainly do have a history.
We have one of the RD350LC bikes that was used on the Tour de France in the 1980s, in the Yamaha Europe collection. It's the favourite bike of one of our team members, as he grew up watching the infamous RD350LC ProAm races in the UK.
