Is this a sustenance fishery? We set out to catch a years worth of fish in one weekend. It's Coho season and our combined limit is 48 salmon, 12 Halibut and still more bottom fish.

Those gals are going to have some wonderful memories fishing with their dad (and mom). I have great memories with my dad, but we didn't catch nearly as many and as large of fish (and we had to be very quiet). Maybe that was the problem! Ha! Keep making those great memories!!!

What a haul, enough fish to last the winter. The girls are fearless of the ocean, even in rough conditions, I couldn't help feeling for Rose, but what a good sport, sticking it out in the rough. Getting mugged by the whales, what a bonus, God's rich blessings.

Glad to see the better net ! Try affixing a clothes pin to the handle to hold the bottom of the net out of the way while swooping in . It's an old trick I learned from a charter captain I fish with for walleye down here on Lake Erie. Again ,I love the videos and your whole family.

Wow, what a nice loot Burkinshaws!! very impressive! is there not a daily bag limit x6?? I can only imagine what all I can do with that catch. Lots of Lox and bagel and much much more beyond that.
