The Camaro has been around since 1967 and has really become a performance icon. Under the hood of this 2011 Camaro is a 6.2L V8 pumping out 420HP & mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you will find a classic muscle car color combo of bright yellow with black racing stripes, 20in wheels, and body kit from the factory. On the inside you get the RS style gauges, no infotainment system and leather interior. Is this Chevrolet Camaro SS the BEST used Muscle Car convertible to BUY ?

I've never seen this Camaro in years because I already got used to the latest Camaro models. Looking at this "Bumblebee" Camaro really bring back the old memories. I'm glad the previous owner keep it looking stock and simple eventhough there's some minor changes. Love the review as always Joe!

I have a 2011 camaro SS 6 speed manual. I bought mine for 20k after it was all said and done. SO much fun. I’m 6’2 and 220lbs so it can get a little cramped on long trips but I’d say for the money I paid for it, definitely worth it if you want a nice, clean, and powerful car. Totally recommend it if you can

Actually the engine in the automatic transmission SS cars is an L99 producing 400hp, only the manuals are the LS3 with 426 hp.

I have 2010 ss with auto trans and ls3 engine so idk how accurate that is. Amd honestly if were talking what numbers actually matter its wheel horsepower. A stock one won't be over 400. Mine is heavily modified and I'm at 405 wheel.

Nice video. The SS with auto trans means that it has an L99 engine. These engines have cylinder deactivation for fuel economy and are rated at 400 hp and 410 tq. 👍

It's so fascinating how this 5th gen is bigger then the current 6 gen... because when you look at a 6 gen, (well for me at least) it looks more bigger and beefy then the 5th gen! I thinks its got to with the lines of the car. either way, Im a big fan of both those generations of camaro! Nice car and review anyways! keep these types of videos coming Joe! love watching them! #camaro!

I've owned a 11 SS convertible for a long time now. Two points of correction. 1, it does come with a tonneau cover, yours is missing it. 2, with the automatic transmission, it is only rated at 400hp, not 426 (manual only). Although the automatic is only 0.1s slower 0-60, it is 0.1 s faster in 1/4 mile.

For the acceleration, I believe it's the opposite: 0-60 is faster than manual, but the manual is faster in 1/4 mile.

That exhaust sounds dirty! I'm with you, I wonder if it has a cat delete. I rented a 2019 Camaro SS convertible last year on Turo, and it was a blast - a lot of the fun was in the exhaust with the top down. The one I rented had the dual-mode exhaust wired open, and it was really loud as well - though I gotta say this 2011 is even louder. Can't beat a nice-sounding V8 with the top down.

Correction Joe Raiti, Ford does sell a 20” wheel for the Mustang GT. It’s an aluminum polished silver and it looks great. So Mustangs come with 18( on base) 19’s like what’s on PP1 and a 20” which is polished aluminum…

I like the 2010 look better than the current model. I owned a 2012. The exhaust sounds great although this cars bark is worse than its bite. This is proof loud pipes are just that......loud. It doesn't mean you have 1000 hp under the hood.

I had a 2010 SS coupe with factory ground effects like this one. Don’t get a automatic. The cylinder deactivation will drive you nuts .

I dont know what that car has but if you would like some advice get yourself some longtube headers. It will add a lot of sound but it will also give you a good amount more power. Those Camaros benefit greatly from longtube headers
