Love the video guys..I’m from Maine..just remember those small brook trout are really sensitive to hand touch and have to treated extremely delicately..still great video..beautiful in the winter
Great video!!! I am very familiar with this pond, and I live about 5 minutes away from it. I only fly fish it with barbless hooks to try to keep the fish as healthy as possible, but I end up losing a lot of them, LOL. I don't think there are any baitfish in that pond at all. the most I've caught there is 10 in a single day. I usually catch them on attractor streamer patterns, like a small kreelex minnow or an orange wooly bugger. these fish are the spookiest fish I've ever fished for, after about 30 min to an hour of fishing there they just stop biting. Thank you for releasing these fish and protecting them by doing that. Again, great video. thanks.
Awesome trout fishing they were so beautiful and I just loved the scenery I recently did a trout fishing video it is so peaceful especially since I have been distracted with school love that bait that you use I have the exact same one my favourite is the lucky strike spinners thought anyway have a happy Halloween!
Love your video's Joe but the first thing that caught my eye was.... isn't there a better way to protect your rods than hanging them outside the sled? Just a thought lol :-)
I know of a pond in Maine that is almost a small or may even be the same size or smaller that is right full of native brook trout 100 guaranteed never been stopped and it don't get many visitors at all I haven't been there in a few years but I've heard it's getting even smaller as time goes because it is being taken over by vegetation what is too bad
