I still stand by what I think ever since before dragoon was even released which is that verte is the problem card. I don't want pure hero decks to be screwed by this 1 admittedly strong and splashable engine
Not even comparable, Dragoon is a powerhouse all on its own that you need kaijus to remove and can both break boards and give interruption. Enforcer is a quick effect Scrap Dragon that will give you advantage if it CAN survive to next turn. Imo Enforcer is a fair card
I think that after the dust will have settled on this card we'll only see it in sky striker and obviously hero builds, as most other decks just benefit more from the monstrosity that is dragoon
I think its worth playing Destroy Phoenix Enforcer to have a Quick Effect pop, an almost eternal Reborn effect, and, if you use Celestial, a free Pot of Greed on your next turn.
Once Verte finally gets banned, and not EVERY deck can just tech the cards into their decks and at the end of their respective combos, then it'll be interesting to see what happens to Phoenix and Dragoon
Dragoon and Enforcer are just very different cards. Dragoon is a nearly a one card OTK that needs Kaijus or to be negated to be killed. Enforcer is a self reviving Scrap Dragon. Obviously that's good, but it also has the better engine around it, which helps a lot.
Another factor is that swordsoul is an upcoming deck with a lone fire that adds itself to hand if a fusion you control goes to the grave, so that deck loves dpe
This card is going to be crazy. Consistency matters in the long run. Literally, because if you're playing a deck that uses the Destroyer engine, you're going to brick way less over the course of a multiple game or round tourney of any kind, compared to using the dragoon package. A lot of other arguments I see is "well dragoon can still otk", and to that I say so can accesscode. I don't even understand how people can cry about dragoon and not accesscode. Destroyer is always going to come back, over and over again and pop every single time. You will be out resourced going against Destroyer if you don't have an out to it immediately. Meanwhile dragoon is more "go big or go home", as you are paying 2000 just for Verte, and unlike the other fusion spell, u really don't wanna draw red eyes fusion.
