I luv how they incorporate beef sausage at that place. For someone who doesn’t eat pork for over 25yrs I’m always excited to see sausage(PAUSE LOL) that’s either turkey or beef at any establishment.
Here in Texas, you see a lot more beef products due to all the cattle farms, so it’s cheaper most of the time. Plus we don’t do pork that well compared to KC or Memphis or the Carolinas
I can’t front… this is a Fact! He may gain some newly clogged arteries but he’ll definitely leave with a smile. I lived there for five years and I still miss the food.
There are 3 million people in Houston and a lot of BBQ places. From the big corporate chains like Pappas BBQ and Goode BBQ. After that you have different ethnic variations. You can tell by the sides. The BEST BBQ in Houston will have that Cajun and Soul Food influence combined. Dirty rice, Mac and cheese, greens, baked beans, potato salad.... That being said, the best BBQ in Houston is a little place called Hitters BBQ, hands down... The smoked boudain, deer sausage, jalapeno sausage, juicy brisket and ribs... Every time I go, I happily spend $75
Chime I live here and through you I am learning so many different places. I have passed this place up and even picked up doing favor and Uber eats. I would see lines from time to time. I saw they smoked their meat. I may haft to check it out.
The funny thing is my wife and I were there for the 1st time today 😆. I'm laughing because we may have just missed you there. The prime rib melts in your mouth, but we will go elsewhere for the sides since we were dissatisfied with the potato salad and Mac and cheese.
Both Dallas and Houston, or anywhere in Texas at all for that matter, is beyond better than anything he could ever hope to get where he from. Havin a Carolina man talk on Texas BBQ? That’s like taking what an American has to say about Italian food in Italy seriously
@@BigNorm87 I ain’t stoppin till this goofball goes to a place anywhere in TX someone from here has heard of and is honest bout shit. Texas has the best barbecue in the country, no one even argues the shit unless you from some other Southern state with even a small bbq culture like North Carolina. Carolina bbq sucks ass.
I remember being on the fence about moving from Maryland to Texas …. Until my friend took me to terry blacks and pecan lodge . I now love Texas 1 yr later lol
Best reviewer ever real talk about the beef rib was looking lovely big respect from 205 pisces black alpha Male Birmingham Alabama home of the civil rights movement
@@PFCMelvinPeterson Seriously what’s the coincidence that NOBODY knew any of the places he didn’t like, not one person was like I went there too it was ight. But now everybody just knows what this place is lol.
@@rommieyay4444 The real question is why is he still there cause it’s clearly not for the cuisine. 90% of the food doesn’t even pass the eye test and his reaction to this last spot definitely didnt warrant an 8.9 rating. I think he’s uncharacteristically pandering to the hostile natives at this point. He’ll probably need to check-in with J Prince & Rap A Lot Records for his city pass from here on out in Houston.
Well, sometimes people at barbecue restaurants don’t make the beans as barbecue baked beans. A lot of times they will make them as Charro beans but just with pork and other seasonings. A lot of times the beans at a barbecue restaurant don’t have barbecue sauce in them at all. I know this from experience, and I always add the barbecue sauce to mine as well. Hope that helps. :)
When you come to Fla come to Polk County, Big Daddys Bbq Winter Haven,Fla Best bbq in Polk also 👉🏽 Word around town seafood my upcoming seafood spot🥰🔥💯💥
