Hi Matt, Good info on the new fastace forks. Later this year Talaria Sting will come stock with those forks. I am 200 lbs, the bike can handle my weight for moderate off road rides?

Honestly I’d love to try it out to say for sure. But I’d have to imagine the upgrade would be worth it. Fastace made this fork with really good bones, so upgrading it will only make the ride better 🤙🏻 But if you want to see a review reach out to Charged Cycle works and let them know you want to see me review their upgraded fork

I have the dnm on my stealth bomber and I agree on the turning, it is limited. I have watched enough videos to be convinced to get these fastace as a replacement but what about the rear coil shock from fastace, are they also an improvement over the dnm ones ?

My bike came stock with the fast ace rear shock and it’s performed very well. Only problem is that the spring has started to rub on the shock absorber causing some damage. If I was spending money I’d probably go with something else that doesn’t rub. But performance is solid.

Just wondering other than forks do you have and aftermarket parts to make it faster or is the speed just unrestricted?

I haven’t done any go-faster mods yet. I think I will in the future. They’re just quite expensive so without a sponsor I can’t afford it.

What coil did your fork come with ? Mine feel a bit too soft and I just realize that Fastace sells the fork with harder coils... Wondering now if I can upgrade the coil afterwards

Mine is definitely the soft standard coil. After filming I cranked the compression all the way up and it helped quite a bit. That being said a stiffer spring would do wonders for my handling. I’ve been thinking about getting the stiffer spring from Charged Cycle Works.

@@rooterad9042 typically spring replacement is pretty easy. You unscrew the top of the fork, pull the spring out, and put the new one in. I’m oversimplifying but not by much. The only “complex” bit is refilling the oil if you have to. And all that is is pouring the fork oil in the tube, cycling the fork a few times to get any air bubbles out, and then measuring how much more needs to go in. (Weirdly you don’t pre measure using a cup or anything. You actually pour the oil in and use a ruler or tape measure and measure the distance from the top of the fork to the oil level and make sure it’s in spec)

Man that’s a great question. I honestly have no experience with the bombers. But I do have experience with motorcycles/dirt bikes. And this fork is very reminiscent of those forks vs a mountain bike fork
