I have the MRT and it's a great bike, fun to ride on and the engine really comes alive when it's derestricted (in fact, the restrictors are harmful). It's even fairly good in offroad conditions, considering it only has 50cc.

2stroke4me yeah looking back at this video I actually can’t believe how slow the bike was! It’s way safer derestricted too as you can keep up with other road users

that engine has so much more to give but it has so many restrictions it might as well be a 20cc 4 stroke xD

I'm stumped on which to buy.. I'm getting back in to bikes again as a mode of transport. Either a 125cc adrenaline 4stroke. Or one of these.. £1400 more than the adrenaline but they look sick and from what I'm told is that if you derestrict the exhaust you can get 80mph out of these 50cc 2 strokes.

no only about 50 mph but with minor changes you can get it up to 60. I got the rieju mrt 50 trophy. The quality of the bike is amazing.

have you removed the restriction disc out of the air filter, also unplugged the wired under the left front plastic swell as the exhaust?

Slap on a racing exhuast and a 17.5mm carb, new sprockets and boom u got something conparable to weak 125cc bikes

What did you use? I see Rieju sell a kit and it looks like it incudes a front sprocket to change the gearing.

james fuller New pipe without the ‘tube.’ Different front sprocket. Larger jet in carb.

Yea wouldn't reccomend putting a bigger top end on if you still have I did and it fucked top end and damaged gear box and been 10 weeks now waiting for parts worst thing I ever did

Remove first inch or so of pipe (engine end) and replace with an adapter which has a bigger bore. Larger jet in carb. Remove speed restriction wire. Block little pipe from exhaust to carb. Larger front sprocket. Can be done DIY but you have to know what you’re doing.

Gang definitely! It’s very easy to ride and when it’s restricted there is no chance of danger. When deristricted it becomes a lot more fun and can go about 45-50mph on the flat.

Uphill restricted would go about 15 mph on a steep hill, deristricted it will do 25-30 mph, on the straights you can get about 45mph derestricted

BankSide Angling you wither remove the washer in the exhaust or change to a straight through exhaust, change the jets, and get a different sized sprocket.
