Look up montech Air X. Lol that's where this thing spawned from. Not gonna lie this shows better ventilation with the PCIE vents and the vents above the rear exhaust side. Other then the feet and power supply filter .. The AIR X is almost identical including the fan controller
I just swapped my case to a Lian Li lancool 2 mesh performance and loving it. Much higher quality than the budget cooler master box that I had prior and tons of airflow.
Looks fantastic (as usual). And it's nice to see it comes with a hub included at that price. Do you know if they're releasing a white version by any chance?
gotta love mr gear seeker here and of course KLAIRE, the best girl for having some ACTUAL REAL CONVERSATION with their supporters. ill stop baiting you now mr
I have this case now and I can say that this has been at least 10 degrees cooler (CPU and GPU) than my previous Corsair Carbide 400C case with an Kraken X53 installed on a 5600X and an ASUS 6800XT. All the time that I had the 400C case I thought the 6800XT was a hot card. Not when in this case!!! GPU fans are running quieter and the CPU hold max clock much better. Great case design. Some build quality issues at this price point. Not premium materials but the design is spot on.
It would be great to see how it works with a complete air cooled build with two 140mm noctua fans at front instead of stock ones and air cooler (nhu12s, d15 or u12a).
Check out how much frontal airflow the frame of the case blocks, May as well not have bothered with 200mm fans because 140s spinning faster, will push more air in that design.
More cases need a perforated base (not dust the PSU intake) and full coverage dust filter, any news about the Lancool 315? belated congrats on the 100K mate.
great build nick nice case the lian-li 215 thanks for giving us the thermals inside a case i was wondering how hot the gigabyte card is. i know every case is different but at least i have some idea how hot a closed environment might be for that card.
08:15. That was great videography. You installed the RAM on a rotating motherboard while also being careful not to bump the camera which was in between you and the MB.
Great review! You did an amazing job. Those CPU temps seemed hot. Gravy ask, be neat if you used a standard build & compared temps to other case builds.
Wow Wow Wow What an awesome video man. Seriously this is very quality content. In just one review my all question has been answered. Love from India. 🤘
Awesome review again... Im LianLi fanatic. This case is absolutely VFM, high quality, LianLi warranty airflowing and cable management is 🔝 💥 Want to buy it nowwwwwww for backup
Awesome case and great video! Makes me think of my cooler master h500 a bit, but the price is awesome! *Edit: I'm just finishing up the video and I have to stop and say....your editing is amazing. Are you doing all that panning by hand or are you using a slider? EITHER way, amazing stuff man, seriously. Audio is great, You're killing it and have a new subscriber!* DOUBLE EDIT: YOU MAKE THE MUSIC TOO?!? maannn. Killing. it.
Hi bro, I'm your fan from Russia, your content is one of the best on RU-vid, tell me what kind of music is playing in this video? I signed up for $ 5 but it's not there (
Thanks for the great review! I know you've said you don't like doing case reviews but they're always so useful. How does this compare to the Phanteks P400A? It seems better because you can mount the radiator up top, which the P400A doesn't support.
Will the inbuilt rgb hub support products from other brands as well? I was looking to buy an asus b550 f which has only has one argb header along with a deepcool aio with argb support. Can I plug the hub to the mobo and the aio to the hub?
I have a question I have the same case I just finish my build. I have Ryzen 9 3900 XT and the Gigbyte 3070 everything seems to be working but I can't get the RGB to work on the three additional fans and they are 4 pin.
Yes but....Airflow case has a big defect = the air inlet of the fans (front) is blocked by the periphery of the frame. The chassis should have been a little wider or less blocked.
Shame is the big obstruction behind the 200mm fans. Any case that does not have this? I really do not get it. So many years of cases and several companies competing and the outdated RV02 is still one of the best in airflow cases but no radiator fit and lots of 5,25 slots nobody needs nowadays. I do not want RGB just airflow, and I would even prefer the fans on the bottom and front closed off for a little more silence.
the way the fans at the front are being restricted by the mounting plate made me say no to this one. good size fans and good value case but that air restriction. defeats the purpose of big fans..
Hi, nice content! Can you remove the wire from the LED controller button from the included argb hub? If yes, is the wiring for the argb hub similar to that of a reset switch? My plan is to reuse my old argb hub when I will upgrade to this case but my old argb hub uses the reset switch in my current case. So I was planning to use this case's LED controller into my old argb hub if possible.
This looks as good/better than the lancool 2 mesh RGB. Built in fan controller/RGB hub, rear exhaust (not standard on the mesh) and personally the glass panel behind the motherboard on the mesh is dumb and makes cable management harder due to the covers. Already built in the mesh but would have probably gone with this one.
Is it just me or is the powder coating causing the case to look a shade lighter? Also, I may just be mistaking it but it looks REALLY ROOMY inside. When I heard Nick say something along the lines of it's not an expensive case so it only has USB 3.0 ports instead of USB-C I felt really old for a 30 year old guy. Back then, having USB 3.0 was only for expensive cases. In fact, many cases sold here still use 2.0 and are the phased-out old models from manufacturers that are so popular now. But I guess that's just how life and going old goes. I suppose I should no longer be surprised since I've long entered the age where friends and family already only see my birthday the same as every other normal day. (Note: not my birthday now)
I'm not happy with the fact that case manufacturers put 120 mm mounts behind the 140 mm or especially 200 mm fans. It blocks a lot of the fan area. I used a dremel to make better clearings to the 200 mm fans on my Cooler Master H500. The result is a lot nicer case 👌
I"m buying now I would have three extra fans because I had already bought them I'm thinking replace the one on the back because mine are RGB and what do you think would be better two on top or two on the bottom? I'm cooling with air rather than liquid
Looks like nearly half the airflow from the front fan is completely blocked off so they could include smaller fan mounts. Kind of makes the big fans pointless for anything other than aesthetics.
Hey man! What do you think, is there space for a cooler master ml240l v2 with the corsair vengeance rgb pro? In paper it should be oke, but the numbers were oke in my current case too, still no space for the aio because of the vrams. Thank you!
Thanks for the review man, I have the exactly same mobo you used in this review, the best part is at 11:32 hahahaha. I was wondering why the most of the major case manufacturer has choose to remove the HDD Led status light from the design? Its like a "PREMIUM" feature to find now...
Lian Li equals Greatness in everything they do. Nuff said. Now Lian Li please show Hardware Canucks what you can do with a more premium version of this case vs my CoolerMaster H500M, then quietly take my money.. And prove them that you have always been at the forefront and leading the case industry with way more quality function over form, performance and value for price than anyone else. PC Modders need, NO, PC Modders Crave for something like this, but premium. Enthusiasts and Modders here, Lian Li, we salut you and stand by you for leading the way with your great products!!!!!!!
Can somebody do a video comparing The GameMax F15, the Lian Li 215, Coolermaster H500M, Montech Air X, Thermaltake Level 20 RS, Thermaltake Commander C32 TG, C33 TG, C35 TG. All these Cases offer front Mesh 200mm designs. We need someone to compare them and do thermal tests on them.
I have question Gear seekers, I have a ek 360 rad and 3 extra 120 ek vader fans. Will I plug all 5 rgb connectors into the hub on the back. Where does the other 5 pwm fan connectors go? Kinda a noobie here.
Uhm, you'd need either something like a Deepcool 4-fan hub, or some kind of fan hub maybe with more connections, or get an expensive motherboard that includes like 5-10 fan headers on it lmao.
Are there any potential issues with cooling to mount a 360 AIO and fans behind the existing 200mm fans, or would you have to sacrifice and remove them to mount the AIO?
I fcking love 200mm front fans, I have Aerocool Python case but I think I'm going to swap it with this soon as this case arrives at one of my local shops
anyone know where does the rgb cable connect to the motherboard? i got it on rgb header gen2-1 on an asus b550 tfu wifi 2 but my bios device manager or l-connect 3 wont detected it please any help would be apreciated
Somethings effecting your CPU temps. I'm using the exact same CPU not only overclocked, but also in a smaller case with worse airflow and I get an absolute Max load temperature of 80 degrees Celsius with the H100i water cooler which is the same size.
