I've created a lot of discussion whether Case used aluminum paint as the trim color on the rims of their tractors ... only.
I say mebbee ... since I found J. T. Case Power White #452-70, (as sold by Van Sickle at Tractor Supply) - not only under the aluminum paint on the surface of three wheels so far, but also inside the rims between the beads where there was no evidence of aluminum paint --- anywhere.
I've made a major repair on the left rim that had that nasty chemical eat great big holes in it when the tube failed and it was parked for a few years in an unimprov4d field.
That's the rim that I have not restored to what I have found as the OEM white color yet ... I was just happy to get it fixed, make it round and that it didn't fall off over the last 6 or 7 years.
It's time soon enough will come for a new coat of paint ... but right now I'm awaiting the FedEx truck driver with my new tire ...............

For anyone who wants to quibble about the correct color for the Case rims --- as I cleaned the rims - two in front and one so far in the back --- they were white under the aluminum color. I don't doubt that these are "different" in Case Power White color - but I have to consider that this, being a "Loyal Employee's Bonus For Working For The Last Thirty or Forty Years For The Company" --- that it might've been painted differently according to the employee's desires. Mebbee. I dunnow. The Power White - is also evident inside the rims where the sun don't shine and it is locked down securely so that someone with a spray can of Silver never got to that area. Go figger. I'm happy with the white - it looks clean and not like a cheap Chrome-In-A-Can spray job.
