I am the same problem with my hilux with weight. Mine without anything is 2.6t had to get a gvm upgrade to get me to 3.3t. Are you planning on getting lockers? Or is it more just a touring rig.
I know aye mate weight is such an issue these days, I'm planning on just getting a truetrac torque sensitive dif in the rear. They're basically just a different style lsd but if you lift a wheel you can put your handbrake on a couple clicks and it locks up!
@@twox4x432 that would work great if the Toyota handbrake worked haha. I absolutely love being twin locked. On my first trip to test it I went down a track and had to turn around without the locker I would have had to winch. That same trip I went into a bog hole and got a bit stuck, put the rear locker on and came straight out no water in the car at all. How expensive is that solution compared to just getting a locker?

Cheers mate!! Ahaha yeah it is an 1800mm long tray on a spacecab which is actually quite long for these (usually they have a 1600). The canopy is a 1200 so good size and I still got a decent amount of space on the tray so it works well for me
How long can you play music without the engine running before you kill starter battery? Running 2 subs and an amp would surely drain that battery fast? Sexy right by the way 😍😍 who doesn't love a pj/pk ranger
