Ah my home town of Doncaster. Love Willowfield's, i car camp there. I did try to book that weekend as I use it as a stop over location when I go to visit my mum who is elderly and in frail health, she had been rushed in to hospital (again). Sadly I had forgotten about the self build event so it was not to be.
Haha, that table football game was so much fun, hope we didn't keep anyone awake!! Ian is a great bloke, he is so good with the kids. Looking forward to catching up soon!!
That ice cream was amazing. I could definitely eat one of those right now with this heat wave. Looks like you both had a great time. What a head strong, confident little girl Amika is. You’re doing a fantastic job giving your daughter a childhood she will never forget. 😊👍😊

Sounds like a great weekend. Was just watching Mandy talk about Willow Fields. Might try and go next year xx. Great vlog and Amika I love 2p machines too
I just realised you have your satnav voice on… I can’t bare sat nav woman! Muted at all times 😂. I love that Amika didn’t want to leave, bless her shows what a blast she had.
I'm hearing a lot about the willow fields camp site. John and Mandy have mentioned it many times and Mandy often goes there. I shall start making a "to visit" list and put this site on it. Another great video Gary & Amika and you guys obviously had a great time. I'm very much looking forward to the next one. I'm going to try again with my van and go to Fleetwood. Seems theres a few vans go there and its only a fiver to park up for the night. Also someone said about parking in New Brighton so might bimble there. Thanks for the fab videos. The music on them is just gorgeous too. respect as always , Kenny. :)
Another great vid. Lovely to see you out and about. Next time your in the area, your young lady might enjoy ice skating and swimming at the doncaster dome, unused to teach taekwondo there, and lifeguard etc...
Great one! Amika, I really feel for you. You had such a great time, but all good things come to and end, and you know that with a dad like yours more fun adventures will come very soon. Gary, can you remind me of which coffee beans you use? At home a use a bean to cup machine but will switch to manual grinder and italian coffee pot in the van (coming soon) and would like your opinion on good beans for this type.
I just showed her your message, she said "yeah I know" 😂 I use all sorts of beans, mostly Arabica or a Espresso. The key I find for them pots is to grind it very fine, but not pack it in too hard. I have moved my bean to cup to the van now 😍
Thank you for a brilliant weekend sir . The company . The beer . The food . The chat . Mi casa , su casa the door is always open to you both anytime . Drive safe . Catch you on the road sometime . Fattrucker
Great video. That ice cream looked awesome, I used to work on an ice cream van with my then husband, he drove I served it worked out quite well because if there were a lot of customers he would help. Xx
Looks like a great weekend to swot up for your van build - I fancy doing one from scratch at some point so be interesting to follow how you get on 👍 We thought of you two (well mainly Amika 😀) today when in Whitby (at the traction rally) as we got an ice cream which was mixed slush in the bottom then ice cream on the top with syrup of course 🍦 Enjoy 👍 have a great weekend. All the best, David & Rachel
Great video Gary...Having watched all episodes of "Bad Girls" I think the the Prison van was the small truck at 14:30 due to the placing of the side door.... It would be good to see inside some of these vans.... I understand not everybody wants to be on show....Wave next time you are on the M62.... I can see it from my house .... :-))) ps: 4 quid for an Ice cream!!!
@@TravelwithGaryandAmika Halifax....J24.... Going West look to your right and you have a wonderful view over the town...... If you ever watch the "Bidding Room" on BBC1 that is filmed about 5 mins from my house..... :-)))
Note: Incorrect information given in the video. The solar panels are connected in SERIES, raising the voltage, not the amps. Both sets of 4 panels are also connected in series. This results in a 75v input and amps remain at 10.5. You're setup will be decided by your charge controller and electrical setup. Make sure you understand this before choosing your panels or you will blow a fuse or worse. Not all setups can take this much voltage!!!
was going to comment this very thing. I remeber the legendary Greg Virgo saying about the disadvantages of solar run in series and if one of the cells got blocked , it shut off the whole setup where as Parallel isnt afected.
