I have been a Barcelona fan since the late 90s and I know Exactly what's wrong with the club it's called "prejudice," from the baord to the press to the fans in Barcelona . If anyone is a barça fan will know for sure that we have the worst press in the world , we have 2 newspapers that want to write news everyday which turns to be 99% rumors and affects the club internally, the board are prejudice for the Barcelona way and not flexible, we have missed countless talents just because of the horshit of " Barça DNA" and keeping Xavi and not going for Flick or Tuchel that will bring decipline and experience is a prime example , also too many average players staying at the club forever just because they are catalan from la masia or were a board signing , Sergio Roberto is a prime example, imagine RM are about to sign Mbappe and the club has just announced they are renewing for Roberto for another year, and finally no leadership and wisdom in the decision making by Laporta , we have great great talent in the team but we have average players as well, every Barcelona fan knows where the weakness is , you talk about finances , sell Rafinha, Ferran , Linglet , Dest , Romeu , ingo and Christensen and get rid of Roberto & Alonso , you will get some money and balance the salary structure forever ,and with the new Nike deal and the profits from this year, go all in for 3 world class players and that's it , the rest we already have in youngsters like Yamal , Kubarsi , Fort , Julian Araujo , Lopez ,Giui to name few. Barcelona will always find ways to get money because it has the biggest brand in Football ,the problem is who they spend it on and how , Ferran torres for 55 M was a joke , Rafinha for 60M was even a bigger one and now if they do get money they will leave players like Leao & Bernando silva and go after players like Dani Olmo and spend +60 M just because he is from La masia

It's actually an advantage to calm expectations, it makes it easier for the team to play with less pressure. What's important is to have squad depth for next season the New UCL has more matches. Have an experienced CDM and that young CDM in Barca athletic to train with the first team . Prepare well for Pre Season , sign players that the coach gives a green light because the Coach is the one fighting on the ground. Our young players have the fight in them Gavi, Pedri , Fermin , Get Faye in there . The most important thing is Training, how we train , put the winning mentality in the team

I understand Xavi being transparent and honest. However, the tone and what was said makes it the comments context appear that he is doesn’t have faith. That is why I can see there is a problem. Anyone that watches Barca, understands their deficiency on defense, yet all Xavi wants to do is buy fast wingers! The game has changed and value is in defensive midfielders. Barca has De Jong and as soon as he is subbed or injured, defense is exposed. They need 3 De Jong's to stabilize defense.

Buying the best players is not the only vehicle for success..... Having a competent manager that is able to motivate the players and implement tactics that give them an edge on opponents is also another method..... Xavi is obviously a clown and is poor in every department as a manager hence why he should have been fired from Dec 2023....There is enough quality in that Barcelona squad thst can make Barcelona compete at the highest level even if they didnt managed to win the titles, hence tbe pessimistic speech from Xavi was never needed .....The objective for Barcelona should always be to win titles and play good football, obviously we will not always win but that standards should not be ob tbe ground like how the likes of Xavi wants it.

Post Messi era hasn't been going on well for Barcelona. I feel sorry for all of them. Xavi was caught up in his feelings. I understand how LaPorta feels, but unfortunately, that is the bitter truth. The club has literally bankrupt, which makes it difficult for the club to reinforce the squad. Barcelona needs a natural pivot and a solid left wing and right back, but as it is, these players are not guaranteed.

Shortsighted boneheaded comments from Xavi. The club, financial woes and all, have brought him the best they could…consistently. It’s up to him to get the best from the team which he managed a year ago to better success. He needs to adapt and work harder, let actions talk louder and your mouth talk less. Real Madrid spent 6 years (since 2018) building their current team. They scouted, promoted, bought and developed players. Meanwhile, Barca spent that time patching their current squad until they were left with nothing but the patches. Instead of developing youth they opted for a quick fix "pulling levers" and now they are in a worse financial position and have to do the rebuild anyway. Xavi is right. You can`t fire the guy for being objective for once in his life. Barca need to lower expectations until they develop and promote enough youth and deal with their debt.

Xavi should get a bit more time and let us see what he can do. The player who has got to go is Lewandoski and Frenkie De jong. Lewa is a grandpa and gonna make way too much than what he is worth. Frenkie is good but makes way too much and should leave for that reason. For the money he earns he should be top 3 in the world and he’s not.
