One very noticeable change for me was reduced need to urinate at night I went from 2 to 3 times and now it’s 0 to one time. So sleep is better. I still have skin tags.
I noticed that my midsection got a little smaller and my jeans tend to feel loose when i wear them. I also feel full after i eat my meals since ive been intermittent fasting consistently :) i also dont even have skin tags when i was diagnosed, never got them.
Feeling full after meals instead of craving something sweet has been awesome! In fact, I stay full for hours and never crave (or even think about) sweets anymore. I am praying that this lifestyle will balance my hormones, regulate my cycle, and help me get pregnant after 10 years of trying "naturally."👍🏻🙏🏻 Thank you for helping people like me improve our lives!! 💛
I stopped on this video because of the skin tags. I had about three dozen under my left arm and a dozen under my right. Two years ago, I went low carb and cleaner food with a big reduction in ultra processed food. Now I have about a half dozen under my left and one under my right. These are disappearing. This really works.
I'm so grateful for your channel and for your wealth of knowledge. I've been experiencing much heavier cycles over the past year and a half but have noticed a significant improvement after dropping only 10 pounds. I did notice the correlation between the weight gain and heavier cycles but had never heard it confirmed by a health expert until this video. Whew! What a breath of fresh air and motivation for continuing this fitness journey I have going on.
@@anujbhardwaj3960 Low carb. But i’ve found that Beans do wonders for me too Just a few spoonfuls though. And fruit , i only have berries and pomegranate. maybe 3 days a week
I eat 2 times a day in a 6 hour window, usually between 12 & 6pm. I have been using ACV with the mother for 3 years, I add some spices in like cinnamon, tumeric, black pepper, cayenne pepper. I lost 8 kg and now my weight is stable and rarely changes. Also walking helps me and keeps the mind healthy.
@@anujbhardwaj3960 stopped eating sugar and refined grains, limited most other carbs, and basically ate meat, veg, cheese, eggs, nuts, and green veg. Some whole fruit occasionally. Shrinking my eating window was also a big part. I don't eat till I'm hungry every day, which is often anywhere from 1pm to 5pm due to the low glycemic load of my typical foods. I stop when I'm full - portion control is built into this food selection because of high satiety.
@@thefisherking78 how many times it takes to reverse…you have low testosterone low muscle mass and high belly fat when you have this insulin resistance… you feel anxious irritation mood swings when you have insulin resistance
Great video, Kait! I've lived through the things you described, all but the periods. It is just as you say. I've been watching your videos for a long time and I never stop learning a little something new with each one. Keep up the good work!
I was 40 pounds overweight and .2 into prediabetes. I knew it would just get worse if i didn't drop the weight and the sugar. Bought a meter and changed my diet. Moving more, especially after eating. I'm 60 and "normal" readings now.
This is alot to do with testosterone levels being high as a result if high insulin... so managing the insulin is step 1... taking a supplement like zinc piccolinate and a good fish oil will definitely help because with IR you generally have lower zinc Massaging the scalp... make a mixture with extra virgin olive oil and castor oil 2/3:1/3 ratio... can add other oils like argan, amla, mint, coconut oil...massage your scalp the day before you bath your hair... so at night when you take a shower oil your scalp, can lightly cover hair with cotton or silk scarf (no synthetic fabrics) or just use an old pillow case... sleep with the oil, and shampoo the next morning thoroughly... do this at least 2x a week. Massage for at least 10 mins. Make sure to gently brush hair and try to keep pleats or a hairstyle that doesn't cause tension. Workout and try to get sweaty... it helps with metabolism and will definitely help hair...
Can u make a video on what is the maximum recommended amount of protein in one meal for perfect absorption? There is a lot of conflicting information online about this topic! Thanks
Hi kate,i have been keto for a month now and still not seeing ketones in my pee,i have a moderate protein and low carb, like 10 grams a day and my fats are high,im 5’5,210 and 34 yrs
That was very informative! I've had high triglycerides for years and no one ever told me it was a sign or condition of pre-diabetes or diabetes, which I now have. :( Can full blown diabetes be reversed?
You never really mention fibre and getting enough for digestion etc. Common knowledge seems to be you need to get enough roughage and often this comes from sources high in carbs. Perhaps you can make a video giving your thoughts on this? Thanks.
I actually find most of my clients do best on a slightly lower fiber diet (10-15g/day). Fiber is a non-essential nutrient. The main reason I recommend it is for blood sugar control.
@@HealthCoachKait I have developed more skin tags around my eyes and neck area since I've been on keto for those 6 months. Lowering my a1c has done nothing for my skin tags and the dermatologist disagrees with you on this.. so iam alittle lost on the whole thing
Hi, I’m on medication (synjardy 1000mg twice a day and Sitagliptin once a day) since 5 years. Sitagliptin was given as to combat diabetic retinopathy, I have managed to get my hba1c between 5.9 to 6.3 since 4 years. But all this is with medication . So does this apply to me too?
