Agreed 200%. Isaac was my least favorite character in the whole game series, but he became my favorite character in the show.

@Holo Lives Matter In the game, he feels more like a Final Fantasy villain than a Castlevania villain, and a pretty generic one at that. Show really rescued him.

"Foolish" pride or not, she died at her own terms after having faught an entire army by herself and almost winning if that flying thing wasn't constantly saving Isaac's ass. I respect her for that. She was an effing beast till her last breat.

It’s actually very ironic that she was originally so furious about the current leadership, constantly mentioning “sad/mad old men,” and insulting them, but she eventually became the thing she despised (sad/mad). It went from her wanting what she was promised to her wanting to just blame the rest of the world, that everything should belong to her because “she suffered.” A good moment of the oppressed becoming the oppressor. Edit: It actually reminded me of an awesome scene in RWBY. “You think you deserve everything because you’ve suffered, but suffering isn’t enough. You can’t just be strong; you have to be smart. You can’t just be *deserving;* you have to be *worthy,* but so far all you’ve ever been is a bloody migraine.”

Isaac was my favourite character in the entire show. I love his character, his design, his voice actor and most of all his story arc. This fight and his talk with Hector were amazing

Interesting that, knowing what we know of her character, Carmilla felt that way about Isaac because he was the only member of Dracula’s court that she knew she could not manipulate. He was of no use and thus, no interest.

It was the best crafted and most satisfying. And Isaac is probably the most compelling character too.

He definitely underwent the most development and that was very interesting to watch happen.

she really didnt. Her own terms were taking isaac out with her, or ideally, not needing to die at all. Isaac on the other hand didn't care how she died, just that she was dead.

It's not that it wasn't a 1v1. It's just that that's how forgemaster's fight. Unleashing an entire army of monsters from hell, that's their power and that's their magic. Just because Issac is strong and can use other forms of magic doesn't mean that's his fighting style

Isaac played every card he had to win that fight, and barely, _barely_ survived. If Carmilla actually had her shit together he'd stand no chance.

Saw your like CJ so I feel I need to be honest. I needed this song for a D&D campaign I'm running and I wanted to use this song for an upcoming boss. Unfortunately this season is too recent so the soundtrack hasn't been uploaded yet. So thank you for saving me on that one. I'm sure my players will appreciate it too.
