@@churchillcoins8519 That's so exciting! 🙌 Personally, we prefer Isla because of its beaches, but they're both super different, so it depends on your preferences ☺ We made a guide on Cozumel too, this might help you decide ☺🙌
Thanks for all your videos guys! We are visiting Puerto Morelos and Oaxaca for our first ever trip to Mexico this year for our honeymoon, your videos have been so so useful and making us very excited for our Mexican adventure :) From Liam and Emily (Sheffield, UK 🇬🇧)
Hola Liam and Emily, Thank you so much for your comment, we are so happy to read that our videos have helped you to plan your trip. BTW congratulations on your honeymoon celebration, we bet you will have a great time in this beautiful part of Mexico. Sending you both all the great vibes 🫶❤️🙏
Yes the cable situation is so horrible. 😅😅😅 great video like always. I agree going to the Mayan ruins is worth it. Specially when you go exploring on the first level. I never knew about the colorful stairs. We did the whale sharks. It was amazing. Great video like always. Good job☺️☺️☺️
Hey Frank & Daria 🤗🤗 Oh my gosh, it's crazy to see all those cables if you come from a country that typically hides that all under the ground 😅🫣 Yes, the museum was definitely worth it - if not for the statues, definitely for those views 🤩💦 Next time you're on island, got get some pictures there, it's so fun and colorful 🙌 Ah, and we're so happy to hear that you did the whale sharks - I'm sure it must be an incredible experience 😃 Next year we'll go for sure 👌 Thank you so much for watching and for always leaving such sweet comments, we really appreciate it guys ☺️☺️ Un abrazo fuerte y un besote desde Ted 🤗🤗🐶

Hola Nadine 👋👋 Yes, we believe so far it's the best place for the Caribbean bluest waters in Mexico. So calm and so relaxing, we definitely be back to Isla soon. We hope you are having an amazing Thursday 🙏🥰🥰
Ultramar is so fun! They have great live music. Xailing has that new boat smell we guess! Isla Mujeres is so nice. We are very sad that we just went there for the day. The beach was gorgeous. Surprised it was that quiet. That dog was not friendly! Thanks for the shoutout! Love the "Wity Cam". 🧸❤
Hello friends 🤗🤗 We hope you're having a stunning time in the jungle 🤩🍃 Oh yes, we loved that Ultramar had live music - it really gets everyone hyped up for Isla🙌 You guys will just have to come back to this region of Mexico 😉 Then we can all go together, haha, and rent a golf cart instead of melting on those bikes 😅🫣 Geovanny thought the dog was hilarious 😅 Thank you so much for sharing your stunning footage with us - you've 100% convinced us to do it next time we go to Isla 🦈🌴💦 Sending you both un abrazo fuerte 🤗
Oh my gosh, it's probably the best time of the year in Mexico 🥹🥰🇲🇽 And the whole concept around the celebration of death really changed my mind and my feelings towards death, in a positive way of course 😊🙌 Where are you spend Dia de Muertos this year? 😊
Lovely video with a laid-back vibe. Punta Sur is beautiful and the snorkel place looked so peaceful. Love your swim shirt with the jaguar, Simone. And your dog friend in the end who was interested in your corn 😊
Hey Cindy 🤗🤗 Thank you so much - we're glad you enjoyed this one 🤗🌴☀️ Oh my gosh, punta Sur is stunning - definitely worth the cycle to get there 🙌 Ah thank you so much Cindy - I'm really loving the long sleeve bathing suit trend because my skin gets burnt so easily ☀️☀️ Haha, he ended up getting a little lick at the end 😅 Sending you a big hug 🤗
Gracias amigo por tus lindas palabras, nos hacen el día. Te recuerdo igual con mucho cariño, esperando tu y tu familia se encuentren de lo mejor 🙏🙏. Te mando un fuerte abrazo 🤗
Hola Michael & Laura 👋👋 The time we were in Cozumel Island and we rode just a little part of the island we said we were never riding bikes again 🤭🤭, but Isla was smaller but the sun did not have mercy on us 🤭. In the future we will renting those golf carts 🤩🤩
*Hola amig@* , Thank you so much for your sweet comment. How was your day trip to Isla Mujeres? We needed to test that bed which was a bit on the hard side 🤭🙌. Thank you again for watching and leaving your comment. Saludos
@@ForTheRoadTravels we ended up taking the Ado bus to Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel. Day trip turned into weekend trip. The snorkeling is amazing in Cozumel. Love the island and hit some of the spots you highlighted in your video. Once again thank you so much for your tips and videos! We will definitely return in the near future! 😍
@@YGL07734 Really? That's so amazing the spontaneous things ends up being the best, don't you think? Awww, we're so happy you ended up visiting those recommendations . Awesome, we hope you can come back soon, we will be creating more content in and around the area in the following months. Thank you for your support amiga
Thankyou Guys! We are visiting for the first time in December and your videos have been so helpful to us . We love your honest views of where best to go and avoid. We are not seasoned travellers and appreciate all your advice. I’m sure it’s going to make our trip so much more successful. Thankyou from Yorkshire UK 🇬🇧
Hey Lisa 🤗 That's such exciting news - we're sure you'll have a wonderful time here🤩🙌 You're most welcome - we're so happy to know our videos have been helpful to you 🥰🥰 Sending a big hug from Playa del Carmen 🤗
Hola amig@ 👋👋 Yes, Mexico is an awesome country, so is Philippines. We used to work in the Cayman Island and had several Filipino work mates. Thank you for watching and commenting. Mexico will always welcome you 🥰🇲🇽🤩. Salamat
Great video! My family was recently in Playa del Carmen but we didn't make it to Isla Mujeres. Need to come back ASAP! haha! Thanks for your great content
Hey Christine 🤩🤩 Oh my gosh, Isla is definite must-do on your next trip down here, that water is just breathtaking 🤩💦 Plus, there's no issue with sargassum, which it fantastic 🙌 Thank you so much for leaving such a nice comment, we really appreciate it 🤗 Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🙌
Ola! I'm glad I found your channel! I just had a spontaneous decision to go on a solo trip to Mexico and already booked tickets literally just a few days ago. I'll be there in 2 weeks from now, flying into Cancun and flying out from Mexico city. I'm deciding where to go after 4 days in Valladolid. I've been binge watching your videos to get an idea where to go. I think I'm going to skip Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and even Cancun but I definitely want to stay in Isla Mujeres for a few days before flying to Oaxaca from Cancun. I have considered Isla Holbox too but I think Isla Mujeres is more manageable for me as a solo traveler who can only drive a bike 😅 I'm a Filipino living in Canada and I haven't been on a trip out of Canada since the pandemic so I'm so craving for a tropical weather and street food! 🏝🌮
Hola Kitina 👋👋 Salamt 🤭. Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. If we were to choose between the Islands here Isla Mujeres is our 1st choice. We are sure you will have a great time in this beautiful country. Thank you so much for watching and we hope our videos help you to plan your trip 🤩🤗
Awww thank you amigo 🙏 This is the only place in the Mexican Caribbean where the beaches most of the time perfect 🤭🤩. Any plans to visit Isla Mujeres soon?
I want to go back so badly now. My husband and i went two years ago for our honeymoon. It was so amazing. We didn't get enough time there, definitely need to go explore Punta Sur.
Hola Lacy 👋🏼👋🏼 Yes, I.M. Is our favorite spot in the entire state, wow so you came just before the pandemic or a bit after? Punta Sur and the colour of the sea 🌊 is incredible you will have a great time there. Maybe an anniversary trip could be a good excuse to be back 🤭. Thank you again for watching and commenting ñ, we truly appreciate it 😍🤩
Hi Rob 😊😊 Yay, we're so glad you enjoyed it 🙌🌴 Haha, yes a golf cart would be a lot more pleasant - especially in the summer time 😅👌 We hope you have a wonderful trip to Isla 🇲🇽
Hola Jam 👋 We cannot agree enough with you, Playa Norte is gorgeous 🤩. We've lived in the Cayman Islands before and are quite similar 🥰. Thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment 🙏
It seems like Cozumel and Isla are the only places that have sargassum free beaches, BUT, its only for the west side of both island - if you go over to the east, those beaches unfortunately catch a ton of sargassum 🫣🫣
We were actually pretty surprised at how pricey Isla was, compared to Playa del Carmen. If you're on more of a budget and wanting to eat at the smaller, less formal establishments, rent a bike etc. - US$100 should be more than enough 🙌 There are a lot of very nice looking cafes and restaurants and you could also rent a golf cart, as well as the day trips. So if you're going on a higher budget, we'd say US250 upwards🙌
Hola Malcom 🤗🤗 Isla truly does have some of the best beaches in The Mexican Caribbean 🌴🤩💦 We stayed one night and it honestly felt a little rushed, but we were able to see everything we wanted to see. If you want to explore at a bit of a slower pace, 2-3 nights would be ideal 👌 Thank you so much for tuning in for another episode amigo 🤗
That was such a good spot! You're right, he was actually one of the first Spanish conquistador who landed in Isla Mujeres and started a family with a Mayan woman 👀🙌
Absolutely, we actually made a video on Isla Contoy, check it out here 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wvkhEyYowKo.html 🚌 Book your tour to Isla Contoy + Isla Mujeres with Ocean Tours (Paradise Islands Package) 👇 www.getyourguide.com/isla-mujeres-l1078/from-riviera-maya-isla-contoy-isla-mujeres-full-day-tour-t387314/?partner_id=42TXFE7&cmp=ForTheRoad_youtube
We use a DJI Osmo Action and would highly recommend it 🙌 We shoot on RAW and then color grade in post, but it also has a really great standard color profile 🤩👌 You can find the direct link to all the gear we use, including the action camera in the bio ☺️
Hi 😊 Isla is absolutely stunning 🤩🙌 No, the ferries departing from Playa only go to Cozumel, so you would have to travel up to Cancun to get a ferry to Isla 😊 Have a wonderful trip 🌴🇲🇽
Is it easy to get to from the barcelo riviera maya. Wondering if we would need to do an organised trip to visit for the day? As cozumel would be closer just wondered if the extra effort/time to come here instead
*Hola Melissa* 👋 Thank you for watching and leaving a comment 🙏. Due to the distance we highly suggest booking an organized tour, as you won't have to worry to get to Cancun ferry ports and so on, we usually used the Get Your Guide website or App to book our tours, so you might be interested in this one: www.getyourguide.com/isla-mujeres-l1078/cancun-area-contoy-island-and-isla-mujeres-day-trip-t332646/?partner_id=42TXFE7&placement=%22other%22&cmp=Isla_Contoy_Tour Personally, we prefer Isla Mujeres to Cozumel, it is smaller and with 2 hours on a golf cart, you can easily go around the Island and enjoy the experience. we hope this information is helpful for you, once again thank you very much for watching 🙏🤩.
@@ForTheRoadTravels thank you so much for your reply. This is very helpful. Also love your videos. We are in Mexico from the UK in August and can't wait already.
Yes, there's actually like more commercial port called: Punta Sam, but as far as we know, only one person (driver) is allowed to cross to the island with the car, if there are other passenger they should go via other ferry ports :(. We hope this info is helpful for you 🙏. Thank you for watching and commenting 🤩
*Hola Seen* 🤗 We have only this link: www.getyourguide.com/cancun-l150/from-cancun-round-trip-ferry-ticket-tofrom-isla-mujeres-t181859/?partner_id=42TXFE7&cmp=Ferry_RT_Cancun-IslaMujeres_ForTheRoad But the earliest we found for this is at 10am, but at the Puerto Cancun Ferry Port of Ultramar they should be available This is their website: ultramarsales.ultramarferry.com/en/routes-and-departures.html Thank you for watching and we hope this info is helpful for you 🙏🫶
Hello, thanks for the great video. Does Garrafon de Castilla take cash in USD? Also, you mentioned the entrance fee is $15, but is lunch included with that? Thanks so much
*Hola amig@* 👋👋 Thank you for watching this video. Yes, they take USD but we highly recommend paying in MXN pesos. The entrance was $15 USD for both of us and only includes access to the beach club, and chairs, but any Food and Beverage are not included. We hope this information helps 🙏🫶
