I was riding this with my dad and we were talking and all of a sudden I said ,"Hey dad" and about that time they shot us up and I screamed sooo loud

The scariest part in my opinion is when you’re waiting on your seat and then it randomly sends you up super fast and then you’re just hearing Dr. Doom talk and then BOOM you’re up there in like 2 seconds

I must admit I was scared shitless on this ride. I love Hulk as that is actually fun, this is just one of those rides which is no fun and you only ride it just to say you were brave enough to. I think it was well done but I came off shaking.

I went on this ride right as the park was closing. When we were half way up the tower, it stopped working and we got stuck. After they got us back down, the workers said we could go on the other tower if we wanted since it was working. Me and I think like 3 other people went on the other one. This ride is scary if you're afraid of heights (like me) and it gives you that weird feeling in your stomach. You get to see the whole park as well, which looks really cool at night.

when im about to get into any ride i get scared, but when im in the ride, i feel like going in it again and again.

I don't understand why so many people have negative things to say about this ride. I rode it for the first time the other day and it was actually a lot of fun. I mean I understand the hulk can be labeled as more fun since it is longer but this ride also gives you a rush because you don't know when you're finally going to be shot up in the air and it gives you such an awesome feeling when you are going up and then shot down! And if you have a fear of heights (me lol) then I recommend you get on this because afterwards you get such an amazing view of the park and it's quite relaxing. I have been on higher rides so this is nothing honestly.

Super underrated drop tower. I usually cannot compare it to other towered because it's very different from the rest

The line que and theming are what make all the rides AWSOME at Universal. This rides had great inline experiences to get you pumped and really good special effects too.

Besides this ride being scary, the workers always say all. hail dr doom after each sentence and I bet dr doom pays them when they say that but if they don't dr doom kills them

The part where you're already strapped in and you're just waiting for it to start is nerve-wrecking, haha. I was so scared. Then the initial launch is very, very sudden especially for people like me, who aren't used to extreme rides. But after that, it's actually quite peaceful.

This was so intense to me I couldn't even scream. I just squirmed in my seat the whole time. And closed my eyes during the launch until we reached the top.

AWESOMEEEE RIDE. I was so scared at first, never been on roller coasters or anything and this was fun. The way up is crazy though, it feels like your heart jumps from your chest

Went on it today with my dad. It was AWESOME! The launch made my stomach CRAZY but it was worth it. Awesome ride. If I could go on the Tower Of Terror just once, I would go cuz it would be better than this ride. 😆😆

this ride was just way too short...T_T I felt it lasted like 30 seconds. the name is ironic, as it should have been called fear-RAISER instead of fear-FALL. lol.

ok so this was my first drop tower and im only 11 it went so FASTT up that i almost cried when it came down i almost peed in my pants xD but it was scary and i laughed 2 xD

If you're ever thinking of riding this, be warned. It literally shoots you up. FAST. I rode this with my buddies yesterday and it was AWESOME. I didn't expect how fast it would go up, and you literally go in the air from your seat for about 3-5 seconds. It's GREAT. I really recommend this, although it can scare you shitless, like it did with me. I still LOVED it though. The shoot-up is so unexpected that I got so scared, I wanted to get off the ride, but when it's over, it's worth it. Trust me.

Alright folks let me tell you that this fish eye go pro is not the real deal, when you go up there, prepare for your cheeks to be at your shoulders , your eye lids at your mouth and your mouth at your neck, and the height is TERRIFYING, it might not look bad but trust me, way scarier than it looks

Ok, so this is a long story: Just a month ago, my class went to Universal Studios for the end of the school year. (We are from Georgia) Basically, when we came, my friends begged me to go on the Dr. Doom Fear Fall ride. I agreed, thinking it was no big deal. So, basically, me and my buds were all strapped in, and then when I realized how high it went up, I begged to get out. The employee unstrapped me, and I ran out, crying. After my friends got off, they said it was really slow, and that I should go on it. I looked at the wait time, and it was only 5 minutes long. I agreed and we went on it. When it shot me up, I screamed and cried and flailed my arms like a 5-year-old, I yelled at my friends and preached to them that they didn’t have to lie about it, and I secretly loved the ride 😂. My lesson was: your friends are your friends for a reason. Let them push you! sorry that story was pretty dumb but whatever!

went on this ride and can confirm fun is guranteed. the most stressfull/scary part is really just the waiting in the seat. once it goes up its super fun and it feels like ur floating at the peak. then the descent is just super peaceful and it feels nice bouncing in the air, and the first time is especially fun, i was screaming like a fucking maniac

It’s just over so quickly. I wish they would make it launch you up, bounce for a little bit, hold you at the top, and drop you. I remember when I went on this, I thought it was fun but way too short.

While the ride itself could be better, I have to say that this is one of the best queues at both parks at Universal.

I was fixing my lanyard that had my fast pass on it when I was already buckled in I was like “I’ll just put my hands up when we go up” and when we did suddenly fly up I groaned and was like LAME BUT FUUUUUUUUUN and also I didn’t wait in line I went straight to the towers when I walked in the man was like “right tower please” and he just buckled me up also I almost didn’t make it in the ride I’m 54” and I’m nine

No matter how much I ride this, I’m always TERRIFIED. The ride itself is a blast, but waiting for the launch..

Honestly a 7/10 after riding on it. Great thrill but doesn't last for very long. If you want this one to feel more thrilling, ride it a day before any super fast rides like mummy's revenge, hulk coaster, rip ride rocket or Velosicoaster (if these are your first fast/excellarating rides)

remembering when they said "put your head against the back of the seat" and I was doing that for like 20 seconds before leaning forward to ask my friend when the ride was gonna start and then got thrown upwards at 40mph and couldn't move my head. good times.

Omg this video does not explain how insane this ride was, I went on it with my friend and she told that a few months ago she had gone on this ride and it wasn’t bad, so she convinced me to go in, she thought it went up slowly and down in a medium speed, turns out when we were in the seat and waiting they starting counting from 10 to 0, we both thought that why was there a count down when it is going to go up slow, we both had no idea how this was going to feel despite how my friend went on it a couple months ago and didn’t remember how it felt, when this ride launched us up so fast out of nowhere, and drop us fasttttt down, we were both speechless that we didn’t even Scream, this ride made my heart go up to my brain, never riding a ride similar to this….😭😭

I loved it! I mean, it almost gave me a heart attack when I was 15, but I loved it 😍 XD such a rush. Not to mention confronting my fear of heights.

I NEVER get scared of rides. I’ve written the hulk ride, the mummy, Jurassic park and bunch of other roller coasters as a front row solo rider. But this ride...my god I was trembling.

I went on this just like 8 months ago its a great beginner drop ride if you have never been on one you should ride this I loved this it gives a great view it is really fun and they spent 850 dollars on a 20 second ride so show respect and ride it!

If you’re afraid to ride this, I totally understand. I got on cause I wanted to say I rode everything in the park, so I wasn’t really looking forward to it. The first few seconds of waiting after it elevates a few feet, are the most anguishing moments. It shoots you up without warning so quickly, which makes your stomach turn. However, once you get up there, the views are amazing and the breeze feels great on a hot day. Totally recommend. We went on it three times, and by the last time you kinda have an idea of when it’s gonna launch so it’s not as scary but still fun.

When I got in my seat I was already nervous (I don’t ride intense rollercoasters) my friends had been talking this one up like it was the big one and I had already promised to get on it so the whole time I’m saying how it doesn’t look bad and it’s like a kid ride (very arrogant ik) but we get in the seats and get lifted a bit and I look over and say the line I always do on those kinds of rides “why am I doing this, why am I here” then we shot up and it was bad at first but then it subsided. Scariest kart was that my seat clicked and I thought my thing came undone. Even my friend beside me gave me a concerned look.
