Hey, just found your channel, cannot wait to see what you do with the conversion. I am converting a small diesel bus myself, still in progress, living space 10.5x7ft. I love watching conversion videos for new idea. I had actually considered first either a van or box truck, however the bus was such a good deal I could not pass it up.

@@IsleRoam I will live it soon enough just need to clear some debts and get the money I need to get a motorhome. Once lock down is over I'm gonna be doing some wild camping in Lancashire :)
We are quickly learning that working in the winter sucks 😂 numb fingers and not enough daylight in the day.. It will all be worth it in the end though 👍🏻
@@IsleRoam I did try working in the winter cold yesterday on the bus but it was just way too cold so I found a project to do inside and that was making my trim to cover up an issue on the bus. Seeing as the bus is slightly uneven sometimes I need to trim to cover these issues.
Good luck with your build! The bulkhead doesn’t look like a original to me. I can’t remember it was that heavy (but i didn’t use my head to do a weight test). If you have removed the side panels, also remove the rail from the sliding door. These vans are known to start rusting behind the rail. You need to remove nuts from the inside, and once you’re done building its almost impossible to do. So better check and fix before.
