wrong... Did you see how Israel went into Iran no problem and then dismantled Russia's top of the line missile air defense system that they had sold to Iran. Well, besides giving the US military intel and doing joint strategic stuff the biggest thing they give to the US is the design and development of the world's top notch high tech military equipment. Companies like Lockheed Martin assemble but design and development come from Israeli or joint Israel US developed. You tend to really focus on making great military equipment when your existence depends on it

For years Hamas has courted and set up roots in the West Bank. October 7 changed everything. I think Israel was willing to accept the random stabbings and rocket attacks as the cost of doing business. Very deceptive narrative. First of all the Kerem Sholom crossing was closed because of the assault on the crossing by Hamas which killed 4 Israeli soldiers. Since they cannot guarantee the safety of their personnel at that humanitarian crossing it had to be closed. That, however, is on Hamas. Secondly the Rafah crossing was being used by Hamas to intercept aid shipments which were then diverted from civilian to military use and the remainder of which was being sold on the black market, As a result no aid was going to the civilian population itself anyway via Rafah. With Israel now having the Rafah crossing under their control aid (and not weapons) can be distributed to the civilian population.

People die of drugs overdose in US alone would be in hundreds of thousands and the drugs came from China. I don't even think you understand what you are talking. In term of human's suffering, there are much more globally and you people barely pay attention or care about.

Biden didn't want to. He enabled him, and now he won't listen. Now, he is worried about his reputation and the ICC charging Netanyahu. Biden bypassed Congress 3 times to rush arms to Israel, including after the World Kitchen truck incident. He vetoed 3 UN ceasefires and Palestinian statehood. He defunded UNRWA. Now, after being enabled for so long, he won't listen.

It wasn't a ceasefire agreement. Hamas negotiated with itself then sent Israel the terms. Israel was never part of thr negotiations.

No. The Egyptians, Qataris, and the head of the CIA have been drafting ceasefire agreements, taking into account the "wish lists." They interact with the two negotiating teams. Hamas has never "negotiated with itself." Israel had largely agreed to this last revision. Hamas had even given up a permanent ceasefire. Nobody expected them to agree to the latest proposal, but they did. Netanyahu freaked out, and Israel's propaganda ministry went into overdrive.

@rachaelik It's an accurate representation. You can't have one party draft and agree to their own ceasefire without consultation with the other. Which is exactly what happened. Israel has two demands: release all hostages, disband Hamas. Hamas refused both. That's not a ceasefire agreement.
